Maybe it was already posted on this subreddit but I wanted to ask.
I pre-ordered a PUP figure in january on the global site (I'm in France) and today they charged me. My issue is that I received an email saying: credit card payment error. I did try to update my payment method as the email said but it didn't help and I received the same email right behind. I'm using a visa debit card and I didn't hava any issues on other websites.

He’s very reactive, scary and angry. He’ll grab my arms and hold me in place and yell in my face when he’s angry. This is only when I do something wrong (wrong to him). He has ways of hurting my family. He’s already damaged the apartment we live in that I pay for that is only in my name. He can throw shit and damage the walls, my furniture. I posted recently about weird going’s on I experienced. I clicked a link on a site teaching me about networking and it opened up a page spoofing YouTube, where I seemed not logged in. I tried to log in without thinking. As soon as I did and realised what happened , I changed my password but since then weird things been happening. I got an email from a hotel chain I am not a member of, to someone with a different name saying “Thank you Henry [not my name] for changing your email address to [my email address]. “
I couldn’t get into the account because I didn’t have the membership number for the hotel chain, and their support were very unhelpful so I dropped it. HOWEVER, I today got an email with a special offer from the chain, and it had the membership number on it. Hey presto, I entered the membership number my email address and asked for a password reset/ and I got in! And there you have it, details of an expired credit card of mine along with someone’s name and address in the States (I’m in Aus). I’ve googled the name and address and it checks out, their name and address is online.
Now my question is what do I do, I want to report this person but who the hell to? I’m majorly pissed off and I’m sure they do it to others too. I’m most pissed off that the dodgy link was on a site meant to be teaching about networking and cybersecurity.
But I’m in Aus, they’re in the States - what should I do?
I have changed the password on the account so they shouldn’t be able to get in again.

Hey, all. My mother-in-law (we'll call her Marianne) has become eligible for the NDIS after a stroke left her immobile and with post-stroke psychosis. Unfortunately, me and my partner (Elinor) both work full-time and are unable to be carers; Elinor's spoken with Marianne, who wants to see her daughter flourish rather than spending 10+ years giving her full time care.
Marianne's currently in 'transitional care' after leaving the hospital, and will be moving to a long-term care facility in a few months. The NDIS is amazing, and we're so grateful.
The issue me and Elinor are having is that, well, we're not sure what expectations to have of the NDIS and her carers. There's the possibility that this is fairly standard behavior... and there's also the possibility of care workers expecting Elinor to be a good daughter and help out as much as possible.
Elinor manages Marianne's money (and has for a long time), so it is expected that she'll be contacted if money's needed from her mother's account. That's fine.
But we've gotten calls from Marianne - not the carer - informing us that she 'can't find her credit card'. Elinor's asked to speak to the carer, let them know that they used her credit card the day before to buy groceries, and they've said they still can't find it, and asked one of us can leave work and drive over with cash. There's other stuff, as well - Marianne often calls when she's delusional and disoriented, saying she's been 'left alone', and Elinor has to remind her that there's a carer in the room with her, she just can't see them. The carers have also had Elinor purchase a lot of supplies - for example, she purchased incontinence pads out of her own pocket, as they hadn't ordered any and wouldn't be able to get any for two weeks. Assembling all the supplies she needed to live in the facility also fell on us (clothing, medication, etcetera.)
It's only been a few days. And while Elinor's a devoted daughter who loves her mother and visits often, she can't keep dropping everything to run errands for carers or take calls. We've both got careers.
What's the best response here? Are we having extra responsibilities foisted onto us because they know they we'll help, or is it a case of 'if we don't fix these problems, nobody will?'

Please bare with me, first time poster, this was the hardest thing I ever had to write, I‘ve been bawling while writing it and I’ve been physically sick at the thought of following through with this.
I (f32) am wondering if I would be the AH for this. I have a ‘friend’, a girl I met back when I was 12 turning 13. She was honestly the best. We clicked, she was my soul mate friend - you know that ride or die girl that you think is gonna be there forever. I’ve been there for all of her kids over the last 16 years, done everything from pay for this that and the other, make sure her kids had Xmas and birthdays to house her and children when her partner and BD decided he was a big tough drug dealer and turned into a DV POS and ended up doing time for drug charges and DV charges.
I’ve let her run up credit in my name, sent her $$ left right and Centre whenever she asked, deck her and kids out in new wardrobes, even if they are my hand me downs (I’ve gone from a size 20 something to a size 6 in the last 4 years due to an eating disorder - I was buying clothes, fitting them for anywhere from 2 weeks to 4 months and then had to buy new ones, nothing they were ever given was just target and Kmart clothing - not that there’s anything wrong with them, it’s for context).
Now I know it’s her choice that she went back and I know it’s her choice she stayed - you cannot help someone who wants to continue enabling someone’s behaviour for fear of being alone - I know this. I myself have had a DV relationship - I know how bad it can get and in a story twist, it was this girls mum that gave me the strength to leave mine.
Three years ago though, I was banned by him from contacting or having anything to do with her, after calling the police on this POS after he started his DV shit in a supposed drug induced psychosis (I say supposed cos this guy is your typical narcissistic, manipulative POS, smashes up houses and is physical in front of his kids, but when caught out cries that he’s got this that and the other wrong with him).
Since then she sits on the sidelines of my life, (makes multiple fake fb accounts to add me, has joined all public groups from my fb, multiple accounts on Insta and snap etc., - I’ve recently been told that this is classed as stalking but I have no idea), but she let’s me have contact with her children (I love her children like they are my own, always have and I always will), but only contacts me on the off chance I have a rant on fb or is sending me pointless snaps of pointless stuff.
Late last year I finally, after 8 years of trying with my partner, and the previous 4.5 years of trying before that with an ex, I gave birth to my son after receiving medical assistance to do so. All I have ever asked of her is 5 minutes to meet my son. 5 minutes, to just meet my little and probably only miracle. I don’t expect or want anything else, just some time. After he was 6 weeks old I travelled back to my home town so my mum could help out - I told this girl multiple times, but as usual, I was ghosted but allowed to spend time with one of her kids.
She goes down towards where I live with others and lets me know, yet when I ask to catch up, again I’m ghosted for days. I ranted on fb about how not one person I’ve helped out with kids (cos she isn’t the only one I’ve been an absolute sucker and idiot for years and for multiple people) has bothered to give me, my partner or son 5 minutes of their time and I get a sob story from her, but then snaps and snap stories about her bestie and all this other stuff.
At present I’m currently back in my home town and am staying for longer than intended as I need the break and after losing half my family in the last few years, I’m treasuring the time with my mum. I sent her a msg before coming up letting her know and if her sob story was true she would make an effort. I got messages and we were conversing like old times on the first day I was up here - ever since been ghosted but can send me pointless snaps.
I know in my gut I’m a convenient option for her now. I know deep down she doesn’t care and I am now rethinking our entire 20 year friendship. Did I mean anything at all? I know if I go NC I will eventually feel better one day. I 1000% know this. I also know that maybe letting her go means I might be able to one day make other friends. But the thought of walking away from her completely and absolutely guts me.
I know I’ll lose contact to her kids and that guts me even more. I know with DV, people don’t leave until they are ready and they need support when they do. But what am I supposed to do? Sit around for another 20 years waiting for her to realise that I don’t deserve what she is doing to me? My partner tells me it’s not worth it anymore and he is over seeing me crying all the time because of her. My mum says I don’t deserve the way I’m treated. The two of friends I do have are disgusted in the way she treats me but I just don’t know if I’d be the AH for letting go.

Hello I’m bases of of Tennessee . I’ve been lookin around on FB marketplace but recently have been deciding if it better for private sales or to go to a dealership . I’ve been doing financing calculators I plan to put 5 k down and want a monthly payment of around 270 . The websites have been saying my apr will end up being around 19-21 percent even though I have a fair credit score of 685. I looked up what that range credit score should be giving me for apr and it’s around 10 percent. Do I have to haggle for this percent at the dealership or something ?

Like many others on here, I got into trouble when I was younger with CCs and had a bunch of personal issues to go along with that which lead to me basically ignoring them.
I have little to no actual assets so it was never a huge issue. There’s 6 accounts which have roughly 1k to 5k on them and they’re all due to age off my report in early 2025. My score is in the mid 500s and as I’ve gotten my life together, I’d like to start to set myself up for success as much as possible.
I’ve applied to a couple secured cards and have gotten denied by both. Chime credit builder is all I’ve been able to use and it has made my score climb a bit, but I’ve heard it’s only going to be so helpful.
My question is should I just keep searching for a secured CC (maybe 2?) to use in tandem with the chime card while I wait for the delinquencies to age off and go from there? Credit.ai was also not compatible with either of my banks so that isn’t an option. Is there any other alternative I’m missing?
