I have been on elvanse for over a month and doing really well with it. I’m on 60mg a day and I normally crash towards the end of the day.
Yesterday I took my elvanse as normal at 9am, but despite a busy day, I wasn’t tired and got to bed and just couldn’t sleep a wink. Like not even a second. I was wide awake.
I even tried to go back to sleep this morning at 8am to get some hours in and couldn’t, and I feel worryingly awake despite having been awake solidly for 24 hours. I’m getting ready to crack on with the cleaning!
I’ve not had this before at all, and I’m not sure why I’ve suddenly had this. The only thing I did differently was I had a pineapple and coconut milk smoothie yesterday evening around 5pm, but I haven’t heard anything about that making it last longer.
I’m not going to take the dose this morning as I’m worried I’m just going to be wired.
Has anyone else had this as a one off issue before?

Hi. I recently got accepted into a coding bootcamp. It pretty much runs 9am to 5pm everyday, it starts in August. At the same time, I’m currently majoring in computer science at my local community college. I really want to complete my associates next year, I have to take calc 1, ethics and a philosophy class (11 credits) for my major which I’m taking right now. Then I have to take, calc 2, calc 3, and differential equations (15 credits) I have to retake a nutrition class that I failed, and a child psych class too. So I was hoping to take nutrition, child psych, calc 2, general chemistry and physics (17 credits) for the August term. I have Jiu jitsu at 7 every Monday Wednesday and Friday so that’s 2 hours. Maybe I’ll find a job for the weekends? I don’t know. With the bootcamp being 8 hours, sleeping 7 hours, that would leave 8 hours left in the day, and jiu jitsu days that would be 6 hours on regular days. Is that enough? Would that be manageable?

My LO (4m) had a 2 hr nap from 1:30-3:30pm, then wouldn’t go to sleep since 5:30pm. Now at 7pm he suddenly fell asleep. I’m so confused if this is a very delayed nap or did he start his bed time??
His “routine” today: 6am wake-up (woke up earlier to poop), 7:15-8am nap, 10:30-11:30am nap, 01:30-03:30pm nap.
Before today he was consistently doing 7am wake-up, 9am-10am nap, 12:30-2:30pm nap, 5-6:30nap, bed time at 8:30pm.

Have been driving my car with my G2 for a couple of years now, it's a standard transmission. In the time I've owned it I've outright replaced the transmission (2006 Matrix, was only $800 for as refurbed Transmission since it's a Corolla Engine/Frame)
But still, the 1st gear synchro still didn't work on either transmission. Meaning I can't downshift into 1st when coming to a stop. Over the years I've owned it I've made the habit of engine braking in 2nd, then pressing the clutch right at 1000rpm~15kmh so it doesn't bog/fight me, just like you would in 1st but earlier.
Something to discuss with my drivetest examiner? Should I just borrow a friends automatic?

Tips and Tricks:

• The new WMTM drop has generally been happening between 7-7:15 a.m. EST in the U.S and a bit later in Canada, but sometimes it can vary. WMTM restocks typically happen earlier — between 3-5AM EST.
• Best methods to find new items are to search the name of the item you're looking for in the search bar and using the edit in cart trick. Sorting by "new" on the WMTM page is laggy and not recommended.
  • Edit in cart trick: Add the item in any size or color to your cart and once it's in your cart edit it to pull up the color you want.
• If something isn't showing up for you when you click on the link, search by item/color name, open the link, delete everything after "MD" in the URL and refresh. you may need to do this a couple of times. if that doesn't work, try clearing cache and cookies and try again.
• The app is laggy, use the website.

I just got done crying a few minutes ago and now I have a headache, which will probably get worse if I cry more (which I sorta feel like doing) so I'd like to prolong that as much as possible. Note that my timezone is EST and it's about 4:30 AM for me and I have therapy today, so if I'm not responding, it's probably because I'm sleeping or at therapy.
This started with me finding a cross-post on here from fakedisordercringe (not linking bc that sub sucks ass) which lead me to the post about LGBT discourse, which lead me to a thread about gender dysphoria, to someone's profile, and then to honesttransgender and truscum (also not linked). Of course I ran into transmedicalist posts, which upset me (Trans guy here who experiences virtually 0 dysphoria; on the fence about getting T in the future, probably won't get top surgery, and I'm NOT getting bottom surgery). But because it's 4:00 AM, my grandmother got up to go to the bathroom (which has a door into my room for some god-foresaken reason) which is right next to my room. I know she was walking, so I instinctively looked at my doorframe, and then when she noticed me went deer-in-headlights mode before hiding my face, while she was (quickly ofc) lecuturing me about staying up (I don't WANT to stay up, I just suck ass at transitioning between shit until my eyes get pissed at me) and then went to the bathroom. I started crying, not only because I made her mad (I hate upsetting people) but also probably because of the posts I was looking at, and continued crying when she lectured me when she got out of the bathroom, and threatened to turn off the wifi.
Why do people hate those like me just because I can't apply gender-norms to myself (In my case, to the extent that I get misgendered when people who I don't know have to refer to me w/ pronouns despite binding) and because I don't want surgery that could potentially be botched in so many ways. I don't think about my gender that much, and I also don't think about my body that much.

Why do I have to have debilitating gender dysphoria to be considered trans? I don't care about internet points to the point of labeling myself as trans, I just feel more comfy with he/him pronouns.

Lo del título básicamente. Entro bastante a este subreddit porque odio Argentina pero la verdad es que este subreddit está cada vez peor. No sé que onda con este sub, que es lo que sucede que no hay moderación, pero hay ciertas actitudes recurrentes que se ven en los usuarios que a mí me molestan mucho y estoy seguro que a varios también:

1. Posteos que NO tienen que ver con Buenos Aires: uno que pregunta si con 15k le conviene comprarse unos auriculares o irse a gatear y otra que dice que está tomando mates en Recoleta y quiere saber donde conseguir alguien que le de plata por hacerse ortear. Estos son dos ejemplos recientes, pero posteos así hay constantemente.

¿¿¿QUE TIENE QUE VER CON BUENOS AIRES TUS INQUIETUDES SOBRE EN QUE INVERTIR 15 MIL PESOS??? Que vivas en Buenos Aires NO te habilita a usar el sub para preguntar estas giladas. Yo entiendo y creo que queda implícito sin tener que explicarlo que el sub está para discutir sobre hechos que tengan que ver con la Ciudad de Buenos Aires/Provincia de Buenos Aires, ayudar y responder dudas de locales, extranjeros residentes o turistas, entre otras cosas y no para preguntar esas boludeces que son literalmente posteos crap.

1. Preguntas repetidas: todas las semanas sale gente (generalmente extranjeros) preguntando algo que ya cientos de personas preguntaron antes. Por ejemplo la bendita pregunta sobre si podés tomar un Uber para ir al aeropuerto. No cuesta nada usar el buscador y fijarte si otro cristiano ya preguntó sobre el tema, es literalmente poner un par de palabras clave que se te ocurren en máximo 10 segundos y ver si tu consulta ya fue hecha.

Las dos de arriba creo que son dos reclamos bastante objetivos, pero ahora van dos que son totalmente personales y seguramente haya gente que no coincida, pero como el rant es mío yo pongo lo que quiero.

1. Cuestión idioma: la descripción del sub está en inglés lo cuál a mí me parece que no está bien. En Buenos Aires se habla ESPAÑOL y el subreddit tiene que ser en ESPAÑOL. En un sub en inglés vos haces un post en español u otro idioma y te BANEAN. Acá no solo la descripción está en un idioma extranjero si no que a cualquiera que quiera venir a postear acá se le permite postear en inglés. Y cuando hay un post de un gringo preguntando una boludez en inglés ustedes le contestan Y SE PONEN A HABLAR EN INGLÉS ENTRE USTEDES para que carajo hablan inglés entre ustedes si uno vive en Barracas y el otro en San Justo??? se bañan con un calefón eléctrico todo pateado y se hacen los Gary Beil hablando en inglés. No me malinterpreten que a mí no me parece mal contestarle a un extranjero y ayudarlo (para eso está el sub, entre otras cosas) pero lo que si me parece injusto es que si vos preguntas algo en español en el subreddit de Wackenstorf, Massachusetts te baneen o te lo borren y acá no solo se permita si no que lo promuevan hablando entre ustedes en un idioma extranjero siendo nativos en el idioma que justamente se habla en Buenos Aires. Si un extranjero quiere saber algo que aprenda español o que use un traductor, que es lo mismo que tenemos que hacer nosotros para participar en cualquier subreddit no-hispanohablante. Igual considero que este es el punto menos fuerte porque no me parece tan mal que un extranjero pregunte en inglés si no que ustedes sean tan chupapijas.
   
2. Chiste de Winter: me voy a llevar mucho hate pero lo están quemando, ya está perdiendo la gracia porque lo usan sin ningún tipo de contexto. Encima como son todos chupapijas de los gringos cuando el que pregunta algo es un gringo no se lo hacen pero si el que pregunta algo es un local tenés 50 comentarios sobre Winter y tres respuestas reales. Ya no es gracioso meter el chiste de Winter hasta en la sopa. A mí me puede llegar a parecer gracioso (ahora no, pero antes sí) cuando hay un contexto y está bien puesto, pero si alguien hace un post diciendo BUSCO PROFESOR DE PIANO POR ZONA COLEGIALES y hay una respuesta que es ANDA A PREGUNTAR A WINTER LA FAMOSA PISTA DE PATINAJE SOBRE HIELO a mi personalmente me parece menos gracioso que presenciar a alguien tener un ACV. Ya me parece que están quemando un chiste que puede tener su gracia y ser hasta algo simpático por lo inocente que es.

What happened to all the people who actually used to put effort into their messages? Seems like most people try to use the 'I don't know how to further the conversation' instead of looking at your posts and delving into your interests or bringing up things about them. I see a lot of people who just decide to stop chatting with you even when things seemed fine or sometimes it can feel like you are the only one actually interested in carrying on a conversation. I dunno about you guys but I don't like talking to others unless they actually seem interested in talking with me and being able to carry their own in convos. I should never feel like I'm everyone's møm, telling people that it feels like I'm the one who's pulling all the weight in the friendship. Friendship should always be a two way street. Both of us should be eager to chat as well as be open to learning about new things and doing fun and engaging things besides always texting.
I want to be able to find people who not only align with my values, but also are respectful, know how to carry conversations, and want to do fun things like play this battle royal I have called cyber hunter, listen to Spotify together, watch stuff on YouTube, or voice chat once we've both established a good connection with one another.
