So I was going out with this guy two years back, he was literally perfect and everything was great. He had met my friends and they all got along. Hey guys, how's everyone doing? I've played a few incursions, but now I'm looking to write my own and would love some input (cos I'm terrible at this stuff). I want to adapt The Mountain Witch RPG to Trophy, a game I already know how to play - The basic premise is a group of ronin, desperate for work, are hired by a village, desperate enough to hire ronin, to climb the mountain, enter the Witch's castle and slay them, with trust and betrayal and all that good stuff.
My idea thus far:

• Theme: cold (snow, frost, winter, something like that; open to other more compelling ideas)
• Intro: A chain of villages have been driven to desperation by an endless winter. they believe the witch of the mountain is to blame. When the local lord fails to take action, the villages come together to hire the ronin to do the job.
• Ring 1: an encounter in the forest at the foot of the mountain.
• Ring 2: environmental challenges while climbing the mountain. haunted blizzard while scaling a cliff or something?
• Ring 3: a slower paced more character driven moment, perhaps climbing an easier section of the mountain, or having taken shelter somewhere.
• Ring 4: enter the witch's castle (probably some non-euclydean nightmare, maybe filled with the twisted minions of the witch).
• Ring 5: final showdown (probably not as simple as just stabbing a guy and going home).

Where I need help is likely obvious: fleshing out the different rings in terms of terrors and temptations, ensuring they fit the vibe of Trophy (and are more interesting than what I could come up with), as well as any interesting moments and conditions people could think of other than "you get frostbite".

hey all, so ive been on T for a couple months now and i had a question about injection. when i first got my medication at my pharmacy i asked the person there how exactly to give myself intramuscular injections, preferably in the thigh since it's probably the easiest place to do it. they gave me vague instruction on where to put the needle n all that and i figured it wasn't that complicated in the first place so i didnt really question anything much and have been injecting without much thought since. what i did notice though is that sometimes when i pulled out the needle there'd be a lot of blood that'd come out and i'd have to sit there and wait while i held an alcohol pad on the injection site waiting for the bleeding to stop. i didnt give it much thought at first but it just happened twice in a row so i looked up what could be the reason for it just because it was sort of annoying and, along with finding out that my placement of the needle when injecting was wrong, i also realized that the excessive bleeding after injection was caused by hitting an artery, and that you weren't supposed to inject medication at all if you did hit one.
like i said before ive been injecting T for two months now and ive probably injected it into an artery around 3-4 of those times and im just wondering if there are any serious health complications that could occur from this or if it effects absorption or efficiency of the medication in any way? maybe this is the wrong sub to ask but since you guys have experience with this i just assumed maybe youd have an answer since i cant really find a straight one from looking stuff up online. thanks

For some context, I’ve (21f) recently started dating this guy (about 4, almost 5 months). We get on great and have complimentary personalities. His family loves me, my family loves him, it’s all around a great relationship. I’ve never really been one to commit to relationships, so this is the first time where I’ve been spending a lot of time with someone outside of my friends or family. I will admit that in the first two months or so I was really dependent on him. After my best friend had a talk with me, I worked on correcting it. I made more time for family (not that I was necessary neglecting them, but I started being more proactive) and I fixed my performance at work (I even had another talk with my boss where he explicitly said that I was doing great and was back to my pre-relationships self). I’ve managed to correct most everything she talked about, except for one thing. Spending more time with my friends.
My friends are great and I love them, but for so long I’ve always been the “available” friend, the one they reach out to cause they know I don’t have anything else going on. I’ve always been the driver, the one who makes the dinner reservations happen even if I didn’t want to go, the one that helps to set up for parties, etc. My friends constantly make last minute plans, but my boyfriend and I sit down every Sunday and get on the same page about our week and what days we’d like to block off for each other. After the talk with my best friend I’ve tried to let her know that I’m free on these days but she always says “oh I’m going to (insert place) with (other friend)” and kind of just leaves it there. So my boyfriend usually gets to me first and asks me to play Skyrim with him or have lunch. This seems to make my best friend mad, but I’ve tried to let her know when I’m free and instead I get radio silence. There are some other things I think contribute to her anger, but this is getting kind of long. Does anyone have any advice for me?

Hello everyone, I know this is a question that gets asked a lot but my situation is a bit different from the average American and decided to ask anyway. I'll outline in bullet points.

• I live in an apartment with no possibility of home charging
• I live in a European capital with many charging stations (I have a couple 22kw very close to my apartment, like 200m away, plus many others spread around), a supercharger in the city within 15 minutes reach and a few other fast charging stations.
• I would get free city parking, no road tax by having an EV
• I do not have a daily commute, I work from home. I need the car for the occasional weekday use, plus weekends
• I would like to start going on road trips, though I'm not a person that would drive 4-500km without stopping, so charging every 2-3 hours of driving would be absolutely fine for me.

Would a model 3 long range make sense? Currently debating on a used one, 2021, in like new conditions with about 45k miles - 75k km.

Went from 20 migraines to 4 a month on venlafaxine. Last couple of months have been 10 a month. 6+ months in has anyone found upping the dose makes a preventative work better for them? Or even start working again?
I'd love to go back to 4 a month again... but I don't want to deal with more side effects if it won't help.

I know this topic has been beaten to death, but I am considering upgrading the DP-based Neo 3 Link to the wireless/wired Pico 4. Curious about AMD GPU users and how they have found the Pico 4's wireless performance via VD or SA. Are there any issues with the encoding and streaming? I currently have a 6800XT and would love to hear from works that use a similar GPU with the Pico 4.
I am upgrading because the Pico 3 Link's FOV is too small for me. I am getting about 88 degrees Horizontal for my IPD at about 64.3mm and after getting spoiled by using one of Pimax's lower-end Aristan, I was blown away by the FOV, but the resolution and need for Parallel Projection for older VR games makes it incredibly hard for me to enjoy that headset.
Is the FOV of the Pico 4 well worth it with the stock interface or with mods? And has picture quality dramatically improved to be akin or similar while running using the DP cable on the Neo 3 Link?
My PC is connected via fiber through an ethernet cable, so should I use USB tethering or WIFI via VD or SA to get the best image quality?

i accepted my university offer today, and i have felt nothing but disappointment about it. i live in canada and my dream university was western university, doing extensive research about their campus and programs these past few months; and even tearing up when i got accepted. unfortunately, only 1/5 of the universities i applied to were ones that didn’t need me to live on residence. while i was set on western, i had to settle for the one university that was closest to me (tmu) because my family couldn’t afford the tuition and residence. i’m so grateful that my parents are paying for my university as not many kids have that opportunity, however i can’t help but feel like i’m settling for a university i don’t even want to go. i’ve been in tears about it this entire day and have even argued with my dad about it, but i just can’t help but feel bummed out about it. there’s nothing i can do about it now as i’ve already accepted my offer, but i feel like i’m just going to dread these next 4 years. i cant help but think about what could’ve been about something that hasn’t even happened yet. while i’m still in high school right now, i wish i could feel the joy my peers are feeling about leaving because they had the opportunity to go somewhere where they actually wanted to.

I just got done crying a few minutes ago and now I have a headache, which will probably get worse if I cry more (which I sorta feel like doing) so I'd like to prolong that as much as possible. Note that my timezone is EST and it's about 4:30 AM for me and I have therapy today, so if I'm not responding, it's probably because I'm sleeping or at therapy.
This started with me finding a cross-post on here from fakedisordercringe (not linking bc that sub sucks ass) which lead me to the post about LGBT discourse, which lead me to a thread about gender dysphoria, to someone's profile, and then to honesttransgender and truscum (also not linked). Of course I ran into transmedicalist posts, which upset me (Trans guy here who experiences virtually 0 dysphoria; on the fence about getting T in the future, probably won't get top surgery, and I'm NOT getting bottom surgery). But because it's 4:00 AM, my grandmother got up to go to the bathroom (which has a door into my room for some god-foresaken reason) which is right next to my room. I know she was walking, so I instinctively looked at my doorframe, and then when she noticed me went deer-in-headlights mode before hiding my face, while she was (quickly ofc) lecuturing me about staying up (I don't WANT to stay up, I just suck ass at transitioning between shit until my eyes get pissed at me) and then went to the bathroom. I started crying, not only because I made her mad (I hate upsetting people) but also probably because of the posts I was looking at, and continued crying when she lectured me when she got out of the bathroom, and threatened to turn off the wifi.
Why do people hate those like me just because I can't apply gender-norms to myself (In my case, to the extent that I get misgendered when people who I don't know have to refer to me w/ pronouns despite binding) and because I don't want surgery that could potentially be botched in so many ways. I don't think about my gender that much, and I also don't think about my body that much.

Why do I have to have debilitating gender dysphoria to be considered trans? I don't care about internet points to the point of labeling myself as trans, I just feel more comfy with he/him pronouns.

I'm from Europe and last year I graduated with a 4 year BSc in chemistry, did my undergraduate project in computational chemistry (molecular dynamics to be more specific). I found out that I really enjoyed the modelling part of my project a so I applied to a MSc in modelling for science and engineering with the intention to shift my career towards a tech-oriented job.
I need to choose a specialization for the master, and I am thinking whether to go to a complex systems modelling/ engineering modelling route or to a data science/analysis route. I still don't know if I want to join right away the private sector or do a PhD once a finish, but I'm feeling the former at the moment.
I suppose I want some general advice about what specialization to choose. Which specialization is better for working in the private sector? In which industries or fields can I work in each case?
