2023.06.01 10:26 TachyonProductions ICAO Shitstirring incident widens the gap between Sierra Group & ICAO

Earlier today, AeroFanCEO#2213 and his "team" of self proclaimed "elite investigators" made bold accusations against Shiba&Co and attempted to suggest AirAlps and other airlines terminate their codeshares with ShibaFly SA. They claimed to have "Concrete evidence" that over 15 flights were faked, purely because they lacked an image, and Camcherta, ShibaFly's Owner, usually posts an image with her flights. The message I recieved involving Shiba&Co is below.
" Fraudulent Activities by Codeshare Partner Shiba&Co
From The ICAO Inspection Team TarunBeast, Sunrise4, Sunrise 6 and AeroFanCEO
To Air Alps TheJeremy#9894 & Icyy
We are writing to provide you with crucial information regarding your codeshare partner, Shiba&Co. Our investigation, conducted by the ICAO Inspection Team, has uncovered concrete evidence of fraudulent practices involving the falsification of codeshare flights. We have also learned that the chairman of Shiba&Co, Camcherta, shrewdly de-recognized her airline from the ICAO upon discovery of these activities. While this warning message does not imply any direct action from the ICAO or force you to terminate the partnership, we strongly advise you to carefully consider the implications of these findings. 𝘼𝙞𝙧𝘼𝙡𝙥𝙨. The investigation team found 15 FAKE FLIGHT LOGS. The discovery of Shiba&Co's fraudulent activities, and Camcherta's active involvement, is both alarming and concerning. We understand the significance of your partnership, but it is essential to prioritize the integrity and reputation of Air Alps. We urge you to thoroughly reassess your codeshare agreement, taking into account the risks these actions pose to your airline's image and the trust of your passengers. Transparency and decisive action will be crucial in navigating this challenging situation. Message by AeroFanCEO ICAO Administrator"
Not long after, Sierra Group was defending Shiba&Co, and quickly disproved ICAO's report. (https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/946451036321771630/1113733654687006720/Report_1.pdf)Funly enough, Camcherta also happens to be a moderator of this subreddit.
ICAO also seem to have said multiple transphobic slurs to Camcherta, which I can image would have been quite concerning to recieve. Cam responded with a petition(https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/946451036321771630/1113734237804306503/ShibaCo_Petition.pdf) to force the investigation team to Apologise for their accusations and language, and a stern announcement, Following.
"
  1. 📷 everyone 📷 Good morning all! As Shiba&Co flight 12 (SHB12/SX12) leaves Marseille for Alicante, cruising over the Mediterranean Sea, I'd like to take a moment to share a message and further news of urgency and significance; please read by! Yesterday noon, a group of ICAO administrators barged into the Virtual Airline Hangout server (of which we are recognised in) and began writing as such: The ICAO investigation team has diligently gathered and verified the evidence of Shiba&Co's fraudulent activities. This serves as a stark reminder that our industry must remain vigilant and committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, honesty, and transparency. As an esteemed member of the aviation community, we implore you to stay informed and exercise caution in your business relationships. While this warning does not directly pertain to VAH, it serves as a reminder of the importance of maintaining ethical practices and safeguarding the reputation of your airline. These shocking findings have left us astounded and deeply troubled. It is disheartening to discover that an airline would resort to such deceptive practices, undermining the trust and integrity that are fundamental to the aviation industry. Moreover, what is particularly alarming is the knowledge that the chairman of Shiba&Co, Camcherta, was heavily involved in perpetuating these malpractices. This "investigation" and ensuing claims did not have any evidence to support them, and we were at no point alerted that such an investigation was taking place as to be able to defend ourselves. The group followed by using harassment, sexism, racist and dehumanising language and slurs, even towards innocent spectators - and creating a DM hate group for Shiba&Co which I am currently the only member of. The current major concern is that the group published a report publicly in VAH and ICAO, in which:
    1. Zero evidence was given that we faked flights
    2. Zero defence from us was sought
    3. They have personally chosen to gamble their argument in an inappropriate tone
    4. The document uses inappropriate tone and consistency throughout
    5. Shiba&Co was given zero chance to defend ourselves
    6. A "conclusion" was drawn before the investigation began
    7. 15 flight log examples taken from our own flight-logs
    8. Such a course of action is grossly negligent - and the investigation was insufficient, as I thereafter found 15 pieces of evidence that the 15 flights had been done fully in a flight simulator. Additionally, the claims were certainly not backed up by evidence - therefore, we had 100% the right to refute the claims, given the lack of effort by the investigation team. Eventually the matter was transported to ICAO, where the final verdict was given: Shiba&Co has not conducted fraudulent flights. Seeking an apology, the team attempted to blame us for "extending" the matter, even claiming that we were "inferior beings" and supporting Nazism. I'm just going to be blunt here and say that the actions of the "investigation team" were purely disgusting. Thats the only word for it. Disgusting. They have breached several rules of conduct, created fear within the CRP community, defaced ICAO, shamed themselves, defamed Shiba&Co and made outright ridiculous childish behaviour part of CRP. ICAO and the SG have showed negligence on the matter, delaying the immediate ban of anyone who condones publicly any policy of the Nazi kind.
  2. [19:39] As follows, Shiba&Co has launched a petition that demands:
    1. The investigators publicly apologise for every single misconduct
    2. The investigators are sanctioned
    3. Those at the sending end of racism and sexism are immediately banned
    4. ICAO implement proper rules for investigation
    5. Compensation is warranted to Shiba&Co for defamation
    6. To be entirely clear and transparent, Shiba&Co's policy has always been to fly and let fly. Our entire basis, foundation is to reject silly competition; set aside our differences; do what we love. And to be honest, I see no fun in copy-pasting and changing flight logs in a channel - and I think you'll agree. Our fights are done to the very degree of transparency; there are screenshots of departures, arrivals, wing views, cockpit views, complaining, swearing at A320s, sim crashes and all of that. It's what makes us, us. Note that this announcement mentions no name - this is because we, in fact, respect others and look up to our public image and portrayal. The final message here is that no matter how successful or unsuccessful one is, there will always be someone trying to fuck you up. You cannot always anything about them; but you can prepare, be honest to yourself and take responsibility. With that, the reports from ICAO and our petition I have attached under this message. If you wish to sign the petition, DM me or ask in ICAO or VAH. If you have questions or seek evidence, DM me or ask in VAH, not ICAO. Thank you, Camcherta Long live the Shiba Republic xo"
ICAO has since backed down.
They claimed Shiba&Co left ICAO after they made the accusations, which ICAO said raised suspicions. However, Sierra group agreed to derecognise themselves from ICAO a long time ago, a long time before the accusations were made. whether they knew this apon making the accusations is unknown, but why they thought ShibaFly left after the accusations were made is also unknown.
VAH's response follows. "
Announcement from the VAH Administration Team Following the events that happened earlier today, the VAH Administration team would like to say that we are absolutely disgusted by the messages sent from the 'ICAO investigation team'. I put it in quotes because the group of individuals who decided to go out against our members were not authorized by ICAO administrators, and the so-called investigation had no purpose. Shiba&Co is no longer in ICAO, meaning that the ICAO had no right to investigate Shiba&Co. Instead, the investigation led to an attempt to defame Shiba&Co, while also including transphobic comments from 2 of the members of the team. After realizing their mistake, they decided it was not their problem. We trust that ICAO will put in measures to ensure that no member of VAH would be treated like this. Here are the list of members who were included in this 'investigation'. We expect ICAO to ensure that they are held responsible for all of their actions. List: TarunBeast
AeroFanCEO
Humzah QE201
Sunrise4
Sunrise6
GreenWilson (Not include in list)"
I think Sunrise4's transphobia is unrelated to the accusations, however that is a different story, and I am still unsure about who said what, and where. I am writing what I am sure of.
VAH's Follow up announcement:
" Follow-up Announcement Since Shiba&Co brought this up in ICAO, 2 people on the list have continued their behaviour in ICAO. Before, I kept certain details hidden in privacy for the individuals, but here I don't see a need too. Sunrise4 and GreenWilson have been racist and transphobic to our members and our admin, and even went as far as supporting Hitler (I kid you not, it's in ICAO). Sunrise4 has been removed from his position of DSG, and GreenWilson is soon to be removed of his admin powers as well. The group of individuals above came to VAH to 'warn' us about how Shiba&Co were faking flights. Here, we now give a warning to all airlines, not just those in VAH or those just in ICAO, about these two members and their behaviour towards other. They continued to violate rules of ICAO, VAH, and fail to maintain basic rules of respect in general. Any airline that continues to let these individuals be without any warning or punishment for these actions are considered to be airlines that are allowing it. As for the previous announcement, I would like to say that Shiba&Co was completely innocent. While the inspection should not have happened in the first place, the members of the team stated that Shiba&Co was innocent on all charges, before that there mess was not their problem. We, as an admin team, will stand with Camcherta and Cactus, because no one should have to experience racist or transphobic words. We all have one thing in common, which is the enjoyment of flight simulators. No one should have their experience flying be ruined by things like this.
SkyExpress's Response, By skrobl:
" Important Announcement The SKYexpress administration team would like to express its complete disapproval of the actions taken by some members of the ICAO administration team yesterday during their “investigation” of Shiba&Co. This “investigation” had this group of people looking into the airline’s server to determine if “fake flights” have been posted because screenshots of them weren’t attached. Even after proof was provided for all of them, they continued to doubt the integrity of the flights. At this point I must stress the fact that SHB had nothing to do with ICAO as it has been derecognised. This means that these people had no authority to question the airline’s practices, much less to write a “report” about it and proceed to call certain members of our community names no sane person would even think of. Since we support transparency, here is a list of all people involved in this predicament:
Please be aware of their activity and report anything suspicious to us. Thank you for your understanding. Signed, skrobl, Co-Owner"
Further updates will appear here in AirlineRP, Thank you. Please contact Icyy#5516 or Καμτσέρτα#8456 for any Questions.

2023.06.01 10:00 barnj898 Fueling the Future: How Renewable Diesel is Changing the Game

As the world continues to grapple with climate change and the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, renewable diesel is emerging as a potential game changer in the fuel industry.
Renewable diesel is a form of diesel fuel that is produced from renewable sources such as vegetable oils, animal fats, and other organic materials. It is chemically identical to traditional diesel fuel and can be used in any diesel engine without any modifications.
But unlike traditional diesel, renewable diesel is a much cleaner and more sustainable fuel option. It emits significantly fewer greenhouse gases compared to traditional diesel and reduces harmful emissions that contribute to air pollution.
With the world increasingly looking for ways to reduce its carbon footprint and embrace sustainable living, renewable diesel has emerged as a critical solution to help mitigate climate change, reduce air pollution, and meet the growing energy demands of a rapidly developing world.

The Rise of Renewable Diesel

The concept of renewable diesel has been around for decades, but it is only in recent years that it has gained significant attention and popularity.
One of the key drivers behind the rise of renewable diesel is the increasing global focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and addressing climate change. As a result, governments across the world are introducing new policies and regulations to encourage the use of renewable fuels.
For example, the European Union has set a target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 55% by 2030, with renewable energy playing a critical role in achieving this goal. The United States has also set ambitious targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote the use of renewable energy.
In response to these policies, many companies are now looking to invest in renewable diesel production. For example, Neste, a Finnish oil refining company, is one of the world's largest producers of renewable diesel. The company has invested heavily in renewable diesel production and aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2035.
Similarly, Total, a French multinational oil and gas company, has also invested in renewable diesel production. The company plans to produce 2 million tons of renewable diesel per year by 2025, which will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 6 million tons per year.

Benefits of Booster’s Renewable Diesel

· Renewable diesel offers several benefits over traditional diesel fuel. One of the primary benefits of Booster fuels is that it is a cleaner fuel, which means that it emits significantly fewer greenhouse gases and other harmful pollutants compared to traditional diesel.
· According to a study by the California Air Resources Board, renewable diesel can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80% compared to traditional diesel. This reduction in greenhouse gas emissions is critical in mitigating climate change and addressing air pollution.
· Another benefit of renewable diesel is that it can be produced from a variety of renewable sources, such as vegetable oils, animal fats, and other organic materials. This means that it is a more sustainable fuel option compared to traditional diesel, which is produced from non-renewable sources such as crude oil.
· Renewable diesel is also a more efficient fuel compared to traditional diesel. It has a higher energy density, which means that it can provide more energy and power per gallon compared to traditional diesel.
· Moreover, renewable diesel can be used in any diesel engine without any modifications. This means that it is a drop-in replacement for traditional diesel, which makes it easy to adopt and integrate into existing fuel systems by booster fuels.
· Renewable diesel is also a more reliable fuel compared to traditional diesel. It has a longer shelf life and can be stored for longer periods without degrading or losing its quality.

Applications of Renewable Diesel

Renewable diesel has several applications across various industries, including transportation, agriculture, and energy production.
One of the primary applications of renewable diesel is in the transportation industry. It can be used as a fuel for trucks, buses, and other diesel-powered vehicles. Renewable diesel is particularly useful in the transportation industry as it offers a more sustainable and cleaner fuel option, which helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution.
Renewable diesel is also useful in the agriculture industry, where it can be used to power farm equipment and tractors. This helps reduce the carbon footprint of agriculture and promotes sustainable farming practices.
Moreover, renewable diesel can also be used in energy production. It can be used to generate electricity in power plants and can replace traditional diesel in backup generators.

Renewable Diesel Challenges

While renewable diesel offers several benefits, it also faces significant challenges.
Renewable diesel is currently more expensive to produce compared to traditional diesel, which makes it less competitive in the market. However, as the demand for renewable diesel increases, economies of scale are expected to help reduce production costs.
Another challenge is the limited availability of feedstock. Renewable diesel requires a steady supply of feedstocks such as vegetable oils and animal fats, which may not be readily available in some regions. This limits the widespread adoption of renewable diesel and may hinder its growth in the market.
Moreover, there are also challenges related to infrastructure. The existing fuel infrastructure is designed to accommodate traditional diesel, and significant investments would be required to upgrade the infrastructure to support renewable diesel.

Future of Renewable Diesel

Despite the challenges, the future of renewable diesel looks promising. With the world increasingly focusing on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable living, renewable diesel is well-positioned to play a critical role in the energy mix.
Governments across the world are introducing new policies and regulations to promote the use of renewable fuels, which will help increase the demand for renewable diesel. Moreover, as the cost of production comes down and availability of feedstocks increases, renewable diesel is expected to become more competitive in the market.
The growing demand for renewable diesel has also led to significant investments in research and development. Companies are working on developing new technologies and processes to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.

Conclusion

Renewable diesel is changing the game in the fuel industry. It offers a cleaner, more sustainable, and efficient fuel option compared to traditional diesel. While it faces significant challenges, the growing demand for renewable fuels and investments in technological advancements are expected to drive the growth of renewable diesel in the future.

2023.06.01 06:57 commonEraPractices The Uneven Divide - Part 6.5

We had gone for a late lunch. While everyone was in the makeshift restaurant, she left me to freshen up, but headed towards a door that led to no washing-room.

So I followed her. Not immediately after, of course. I could tell her polite excuse had nothing to do with her leave. There was nothing more appropriate to do than to follow the procedure, say okay, watch her get out of sight and to get an idea on exactly where she was headed right after. For science; curiosity jotted down in a notebook, plus some math.

We ended up in a random hallway. There, I took a corner as she peeked around her, to make sure no one was anywhere near.

Then her fiancé showed up. I thought Gotnaym’s lines would be fitting for the event.

"Oh, to be with somebody. Is there a feeling more complete? Strike that. Oh, not to be with somebody, is there a feeling less complete? To come back to the place where they were… Where we were, them and us, together. Just to feel them close again. Isn’t it nearly a weaker feeling, the good times together, as opposed to the nostalgia after, that only makes us feel further apart."

"Nothing kills the mood faster than wanting to go meet up over there when we're stuck here with somebody else. Secret lovers are tortured this way. But isn't that better? To long for over there while being here, rather than going, and forgetting how bad we wanted to be there in the first place. Ah, when routine only makes the heart sick again… when we don't realize that what we want is to always be over there, no matter where we are."

That's what Gotnaym explained to me in the long text he sent her as if he typed it incredibly fast. It took me ages to decipher the meaning. When I read the cryptic message, I told myself that the best codebreakers had to be just as good codemakers. In fact, a codebreaker was first a codemaker. A code no one can break is called gibberish, and it makes the information as useful as its definition: meaningless nonsense. A good lock was entirely dependent on that fact that someone had a key, and who was meant to have it.

So I memorized what he had written. You see, although I knew what I was reading didn't make sense, I couldn't put my finger on what exactly was short on reverb. It made sense, but it didn't, at the same time. You know?

This is what makes the best codes. After all, a code that can never be grasped can never be cracked. A code that is never sought is one that is never seen. A password at the door is as useful to the mute as is one written on flush paper slipped in the palm of a blind. What good does the memory of an entire secret language if the language itself is dead?

But codes can get much more convoluted.

For instance, we call it schizophrenic when something is fought that isn't there. So much like a maze, the best codes have dead ends integrated within their fabric, meant to stray a breaker away and to the brink of madness, looking for answers that don't exist.

So a good cipher isn't only meant to conceal information that is only revealed to those who take part in the making or reverse-engineering of the concealant. There is no perfect metaphor for it, quite simply, the best ciphers are designed to drive unwelcome breakers and enterers absolutely nucking futs. The longer the goose chase, the greater the sunk cost, the more of a deterrent the cipher would become.

Gotnaym, though this man of questionable conscience had hired himself as my freelance executioner, pro bono, publico or egocentrico either or, and I'll circle back to that… Gotnaym somehow had respect enough for our deal that he gave me what I desired to derive from my summer escapade in his home country. Or was it pity for what was coming? I still don't think so, as he had selective levels of empathy at best, and couldn’t pity even his closest allies on a bad day. But he had also texted me, through her, a code hidden in plain sight, that he trusted I could eventually find, and that I could also figure out.

That's what he said before he put a bullet through my jugular.

"I honestly thought you'd been savvy enough to have cracked it by now." He lowered the nozzle from the back of my cranium. Added, "Might as well save that organ for later. Any last words?" And interrupted me mid sentence to bleed me out, or to drown me in my own blood, whatever shut me up faster.

Now, correlation does not necessarily mean causation. But I think it might’ve had to do with the fact that I said I was glad he was busy with me here, instead of being at home for his last moments on Earth with his son he couldn't save.

I lived trying to quench my curiosity, and I died still thirsty.

My last before afterlife thought was an analysis on the reason why he'd offer me any last words if he‘d immediately revoked my Mother-Spheren right to free speech until my last gurgling breath right after. And for a spy of his calibre, I would've thought he would've wanted every drop of revealing info I'd give for a chance at my life back for just one more day. For one more hour. For one more minute.

Rare are the stories where someone bargains with death on the same terms that they pay for their gym memberships; just one more month and then if I don't make good use of it, then I'll cancel myself. Gyms were these places in the Old World that made a bulk of their profits with customers who would pay to say it would motivate them to become their bestest selves, but they'd never show up and never cancel, for fear of admitting to themselves that they had no intention of actually bettering themselves. Sort of like writers in the new world who have AI bots write for them, so they can call themselves writers without ever writing more than a few dialog tags.

So you'd think Gotnaym would stomach through my empty remarks. But he just shot me down instead. Bang bang. He really shot me down.

I'm getting ahead of myself, though. At some point in the Old World, writers had decided that flashbacks and flashforwards were better in a modern story. Some were skilled at it, making smooth transitions. The demon Abbadon once had a hotel, and he was pretty good at tormenting his guests with smooth flashes forward and back. Then there were writers like me. Comparable to a bad comedian, I had to explain each transition for fear no one would get what was going on. This would only make the whole thing worse. Case in point: the last paragraph you've read, dear reader, of empathy perhaps not selective enough for the way you choose to spend your time.

But anyway.

Although my story in the Lands of OV had ended with no better clue as to why they called themselves the ones of Over-There, I wouldn't do the same to you in this story, so allow me to explain.

Tyrants wouldn't be anybody, if it wasn't that somebody, somewhere hated them enough to entertain the idea that they're worth their time.

Serial killers will leave a mark or a clue. Even psychopaths need somebody to care.

We all need somebody. And when they're gone, those closest thing to them is what we latch on to.

And parties are made of people. And if people need somebody, so do parties. The fun just as much as the political ones. The DJ is not so different from the toastmaster. They both spin words to keep everyone in the room together.

Those who need nobody, truly nobody, what— No, rather, who, stops them from killing themselves? They assume if they need nobody, nobody needs them. But how can they be so sure? How can anyone know they are needed until after the fact? Perhaps heroes in fantasy stories, meant to sell the fantasy that someone who wants to become a hero might fail miserably, or worse, unintentionally be the worst kind of ambitious villain.

Anybody who needs somebody is like everybody else. They're nothing special, but still unique; they're somebody.

In the Old World, there was no wolf that howled louder than the lone one. And it makes you wonder… for whom?

Surely not for themselves.

But a creature in pain screams and moans even if no one's around, you might say. Why? You'd think it be dangerous to risk giving up your location when wounded and weak and ripe to eat.

The lone wolf howls at the moon to find a pack of reflective eyes in the dead of the lonely nights.

While the tame dog howls little if at all, to call their humans home, or to converse.

She had shown me the text when we had left the Chamber of Official Stuff, and had headed for a buffer zone; a small resting area in a room with no square edges.

2023.06.01 06:02 Rajendra2124 The Human Touch vs. AI: Debunking the Myth of Full Automation - Why Replacing People with AI Is Far from Reality!

In today's rapidly advancing technological landscape, there's been a lot of buzz surrounding the integration of AI into various industries. One recurring question that often pops up is whether AI will eventually replace humans in the workforce. However, let's take a step back and examine the reality of the situation: replacing people with AI is simply not going to happen, and here's why.
First and foremost, it's essential to acknowledge that AI and humans possess fundamentally different strengths and abilities. While AI excels in processing large amounts of data quickly and performing repetitive tasks with precision, humans possess invaluable qualities such as creativity, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and adaptability. These qualities are irreplaceable in many domains, especially those that require complex decision-making, nuanced understanding, and interpersonal skills.
Furthermore, the integration of AI technology is not about replacing human workers, but rather augmenting their capabilities. AI can automate routine and mundane tasks, allowing humans to focus on more meaningful and intellectually stimulating work. By offloading repetitive tasks to AI, employees can concentrate on strategic thinking, innovation, and building stronger human connections.
Additionally, the notion of AI completely replacing human workers fails to consider the ethical and social implications. Society thrives on human interaction and the compassion that comes from genuine human connections. AI, no matter how advanced, lacks the empathetic and intuitive nature of humans. Many industries rely heavily on these human-centric elements, such as healthcare, counseling, customer service, and creative arts.
It's worth noting that historical advancements in technology have consistently led to the creation of new job opportunities. While certain job roles may become obsolete due to automation, new industries and roles will emerge, demanding skills that are uniquely human. We can look at history as evidence, where past technological advancements, such as the Industrial Revolution or the rise of computers, have ultimately resulted in increased productivity, economic growth, and the creation of new jobs.
In conclusion, the fear of AI replacing human workers is largely unfounded. Rather than viewing AI as a threat, we should embrace it as a powerful tool that can enhance human potential and drive progress. The symbiotic relationship between AI and humans holds the potential to revolutionize industries, boost productivity, and enable us to tackle more significant challenges. Let's focus on leveraging AI to augment our capabilities and create a future where humans and machines work together for the betterment of society.

2023.06.01 05:08 CougerHuntar Tainted Ambitions

CHP1: Robyn Charlemagne, a vivacious 18-year-old with cascading chestnut curls, slipped through the smoky haze of the private back room in a popular southern California nightclub. The room was cloaked in an air of mystery, its walls adorned with crimson velvet curtains and dimly lit by chandeliers dripping with crystal teardrops. The soft strains of jazz music floated through the air, mingling with the raucous laughter and clinking glasses from the main club area. Tonight, the clientele was a sea of fancy dress and inebriated youth, their inhibitions drowned in the intoxicating mix of alcohol and euphoria.
Robyn, dressed in a figure-hugging black cocktail dress, had dreams of becoming a successful actress. However, her current reality consisted of serving patrons in the upscale restaurant known as "The Golden Elysium," where the elite of Hollywood often dined. It was a place where whispers of fame and fortune danced in the air, mingling with the scent of truffle-infused delicacies.
Meanwhile, Caspian Mortcombe, a dashing and enigmatic film producer in his early thirties, cut a striking figure amidst the crowd. With his commanding presence and sharp jawline, he exuded an air of regal authority. Caspian had recently acquired a reputation for his underground noir films, casting a shadow on the mainstream industry. In search of fresh talent for his next project, he found himself drawn to the allure of this bustling nightclub.
Robyn's naive charm and captivating beauty caught Caspian's discerning eye, and he saw potential in her untapped talent. As he approached her, his dark eyes pierced through her, conveying both power and dominance. He wore an impeccably tailored suit, an extension of his personality, that spoke volumes about his wealth and influence.
The room was guarded by a bouncer, known simply as "Big John." A towering figure with a shaved head and a muscular build, he was a black mountain of strength. Caspian had made sure to slip him some extra cash to ensure their privacy in this secluded space. Big John maintained a watchful eye, ensuring no interruptions disturbed the affairs unfolding within these velvet-draped walls.
As Caspian engaged Robyn in conversation, his magnetic presence captivated her impressionable heart. The allure of the silver screen beckoned, and Robyn found herself drawn into Caspian's web. He regaled her with tales of his past successes, painting a vivid picture of a world far beyond the glimmering lights of the nightclub. Robyn's airheadedness and dreams of stardom made her susceptible to Caspian's charm, her aspirations blinding her to the underlying motives driving his interest.
Their encounter unfolded against the backdrop of a time when grunge music and flannel shirts defined the alternative culture of Southern California. It was a world where wild house parties and underground clubs whispered secrets of rebellion and freedom, carving out a space for artistic expression in the heart of an industry dominated by conformity.
In this dimly lit room, where dreams clashed with reality, Robyn and Caspian's lives collided. The stage was set for a seductive dance of power, ambition, and manipulation, the boundaries between desire and exploitation blurred. Little did Robyn know that this encounter would mark the beginning of a twisted journey, a tale woven with passion, deceit, and shattered dreams.
As the night wore on, and the echoes of jazz music faded into the early morning hours, Robyn and Caspian found themselves tangled in a dangerous game, oblivious to the consequences lurking in the shadows. And behind the velvet curtains, the secrets of the night whispered their unholy promise, sealing their fates in a world where passion and ambition intermingled, where nothing was as it seemed.
The private back room had become a secret haven for Robyn and Caspian. Their clandestine meetings unfolded like a carefully choreographed dance, fueled by their shared desires and ambitions. Robyn's infatuation with Caspian grew with each passing day, as he expertly played the role of mentor and seducer.
Caspian, aware of Robyn's impressionable nature, used his position of power to mold her into his ideal actress. Under his tutelage, she blossomed, her raw talent and beauty refined through his guidance. He pushed her limits, pushing her to explore the darkest corners of her emotions, blurring the line between fiction and reality.
As Robyn's days at "The Golden Elysium" turned into a blur of serving plates and nodding at patrons, her nights became an intoxicating whirlwind of auditions, rehearsals, and stolen moments with Caspian. The boundaries of their relationship were hazy, a web of desire, control, and artistic collaboration.
Meanwhile, the enigmatic Big John kept a watchful eye, guarding their secrets as if they were his own. His imposing presence served as a constant reminder of the shadows lurking behind their glamorous facade. Caspian had ensured their privacy with a hefty sum, and Big John remained steadfast in his loyalty.
CHP2: One fateful evening, as the neon lights of the nightclub flickered outside, Robyn found herself alone in the back room. Caspian had promised her an important announcement, one that would change the course of her life forever. The anticipation hung heavy in the air as she waited, her heart pounding with a mixture of excitement and trepidation.
The door swung open, revealing Caspian's commanding figure. His eyes, usually filled with intensity, now held a hint of vulnerability. Robyn sensed a shift in their dynamic, a subtle change that made her pulse quicken.
"Robyn," Caspian began, his voice tinged with emotion, "I've secured a role for you in my next film. It's a daring, provocative project that will challenge your limits as an actress."
Robyn's eyes widened with delight and apprehension. She had longed for this moment, to step into the spotlight and leave her mark on the silver screen. But as Caspian detailed the role, she couldn't shake the nagging feeling that something was amiss. The character was complex, enigmatic, and dangerously close to mirroring her own life.
As rehearsals commenced, Robyn found herself diving headfirst into the depths of her character's psyche. The lines blurred further, reality intertwining with fiction in a dizzying dance of passion and manipulation. Caspian's influence over her grew stronger, his control tightening like a vice around her fragile dreams.
But as Robyn delved deeper into her role, the shadows surrounding Caspian began to unravel. Whispers of his questionable tactics and dubious alliances reached her ears, casting doubt upon their once-promising collaboration. The world of underground noir cinema revealed itself to be a treacherous labyrinth of deceit and power plays.
And so, Robyn stood at a crossroads, torn between her burning desire for fame and the nagging doubts that gnawed at her conscience. The allure of the silver screen had drawn her into a dangerous game, one where the line between passion and exploitation was blurred beyond recognition.
CHP3: Robyn stood before the ornate vanity mirror, her reflection fragmented in a sea of gleaming glass. The weight of uncertainty pressed upon her shoulders as she prepared for another day of shooting Caspian's provocative film. The character she portrayed consumed her, merging with her own identity until she could no longer distinguish where the role ended and she began.
On set, the atmosphere crackled with tension. Caspian's domineering presence loomed, his eyes scrutinizing every movement, every line delivered by the actors. The crew whispered in hushed tones about the mysterious underbelly of Caspian's productions, tales of compromising compromises and blurred ethical lines.
As the cameras rolled, Robyn surrendered herself to the role, surrendering her soul to the art of deception. The character demanded sacrifice, extracting fragments of her true self with each take. The passionate scenes with her co-star ignited a tempestuous fire within her, further blurring the boundaries of reality.
Yet, amidst the chaos, Robyn's intuition screamed for her to break free from Caspian's grasp. Doubts gnawed at her spirit, reminding her of the stories she had heard, the warnings whispered by those who had fallen victim to Caspian's manipulations. But her dreams of stardom held her captive, the allure of fame weaving a seductive spell around her vulnerable heart.
One evening, after a particularly intense scene, Robyn found herself alone in the dimly lit corridor outside her dressing room. She gazed at her reflection in a nearby mirror, searching for traces of the girl she used to be. Her eyes, once bright with innocence, now reflected a flicker of uncertainty and defiance.
As if summoned by her thoughts, the door to her dressing room creaked open, revealing Caspian's imposing figure. His face, once a mask of control, betrayed a glimpse of vulnerability. He took a hesitant step toward her, his voice tinged with a mixture of regret and desperation.
"Robyn, I never meant for it to be like this," Caspian began, his voice laced with a fragile sincerity. "I have made mistakes, pushed boundaries, but it was all in pursuit of creating something truly extraordinary."
Robyn's heart wavered, torn between the remnants of affection she held for Caspian and the growing realization of the toxic dynamic that had ensnared her. She mustered the strength to meet his gaze, her voice filled with a newfound determination.
"Caspian, I can no longer ignore the whispers that surround you," she declared, her words resonating with newfound courage. "I refuse to be a pawn in your game, sacrificing my sanity and self-worth for the sake of art."
Caspian's face contorted with a mix of anger and desperation, his grip on control slipping like sand through his fingers. He pleaded, his voice desperate and raw.
"Robyn, you don't understand," he whispered, his eyes pleading for forgiveness. "I can make you a star. I can give you everything you've ever dreamed of."
But Robyn's resolve remained unshaken. She stepped back, reclaiming her autonomy, her voice steady and unwavering.
"I'd rather carve my own path, even if it means sacrificing the fame you promise," she asserted, her spirit ignited with a newfound sense of liberation.
As Robyn walked away from the suffocating grip of Caspian's influence, a weight lifted from her shoulders. She embraced the uncertainty of the future, determined to forge her own destiny in a world where art and integrity could coexist.
CHP4: Robyn's decision to break free from Caspian's grip marked a turning point in her life, but the aftermath was far from the fairy tale she had envisioned. The offers that flooded in were not the golden opportunities she had dreamed of but instead invitations to auditions for seedy productions that prized her physical attributes over her talent.
Determined to make a name for herself on her own terms, Robyn reluctantly stepped into the world of auditions, finding herself in dimly lit rooms with questionable characters. One such audition led her to the doorstep of "The Velvet Rose," a small production company that specialized in adult films masquerading as art.
The setting was a dilapidated warehouse, transformed into a makeshift studio adorned with flickering neon lights and tattered velvet curtains. The air hung heavy with the scent of stale cigarettes and cheap perfume. Robyn, dressed in a simple black dress that contrasted with the flamboyant costumes around her, entered the room with a mix of trepidation and determination.
The director, a sleazy middle-aged man named Marcus, oozed an air of false charm as he beckoned Robyn forward. His leering gaze made her skin crawl, but she swallowed her discomfort, determined to prove her talent transcended the grim circumstances.
The audition scene called for Robyn to showcase vulnerability, to bare her soul under the guise of artistry. As she performed, her words filled the room, carrying a poignant truth that momentarily silenced Marcus's predatory gaze. But the spell was broken as Marcus cut her off, his expression morphing into a lewd smirk.
"Not bad, sweetheart," he sneered. "But let's see if you're as good in other... aspects."
Robyn's heart sank as she realized the true nature of this production. She had unwittingly stumbled into a den of exploitation, where talent and integrity took a backseat to the basest desires. With a sense of resignation and a flicker of defiance, she mustered the strength to walk away, leaving behind the suffocating atmosphere of "The Velvet Rose."
Undeterred, Robyn sought auditions in different corners of the industry, hoping to find a glimpse of genuine artistic expression. But time and again, she encountered the same bleak reality—a world where her talent was overshadowed by the allure of her physicality.
In a seedy underground theater called "The Midnight Masquerade," Robyn found herself surrounded by performers who had long lost their dreams to a cycle of vice and indulgence. The stage was set for a twisted cabaret, where darkness and desire entwined in a grotesque ballet of desperation.
The director, a jaded man named Vincent, exuded an air of faded glamour as he navigated the tangled web of his performers' lives. Each audition felt like a performance within a performance, as Robyn tried to impress Vincent while disguising her own crumbling spirit. But the allure of the Midnight Masquerade was tainted, a haunting reminder that her journey had taken a detour into a world she never anticipated.
Robyn's encounters with these seedy production groups became a mirror of her own unraveling dreams. With each rejection, she felt the weight of compromise pressing upon her, threatening to extinguish the spark that had once ignited her passion for acting.
As Robyn navigated the grim underbelly of the industry, she found solace in the fragments of genuine connections she forged with fellow actors. In the midst of this dark landscape, she discovered kindred spirits who yearned for artistic integrity as fervently as she did. Together, they formed a small collective, vowing to support one another and create their own path forward, away from the shadows that had swallowed their dreams.
CHP5: The collective formed by Robyn and her fellow actors had become a lifeline in the tumultuous world of seedy auditions and compromised dreams. Their bond grew stronger with each passing day, their shared experiences forging an unbreakable connection. They sought solace in late-night conversations, their voices echoing through dimly lit cafes and hidden speakeasies.
Amidst their collective struggle, a glimmer of hope appeared on the horizon—an opportunity to perform at "The Twilight Theater," a renowned establishment known for its commitment to artistic excellence. The theater's marquee, adorned with sparkling lights, beckoned to those who craved authenticity in a world of smoke and mirrors.
Excitement filled the air as Robyn and her companions prepared for their debut on the Twilight stage. The backstage area buzzed with energy, costumes strewn about, makeup artists applying final touches to anxious faces. The scent of anticipation mingled with the hum of the crowd beyond the velvet curtains.
But fate, with its capricious nature, had other plans in store. A sudden tragedy struck, shattering the camaraderie that had blossomed within the collective. A devastating fire ravaged the Twilight Theater, reducing it to ashes and tears. Dreams were shattered in the inferno, leaving Robyn and her companions adrift, the ties that bound them abruptly severed.
Heartbroken and alone, Robyn found herself forced back into the seedy underbelly of the industry. Necessity became her cruel mistress, driving her to take a job on a film so deplorable that even the darkest corners of her imagination could not have conjured its horrors.
The production was called "Crimson Temptation," a vile amalgamation of exploitation and degradation. The set resembled a dilapidated warehouse, its once grandeur now decayed and repurposed for the darkest desires. The stench of desperation clung to the air, mingling with the sweat and despair of the cast and crew.
Robyn's character, Amelia, was a pawn in the hands of a sadistic director named Donovan. His presence exuded a sinister charm, his eyes gleaming with malevolence as he reveled in his perverse creation. Donovan's demands pushed Robyn to the brink, forcing her to perform acts that violated her soul, leaving her feeling tainted and broken.
In the depths of her despair, Robyn's spirit flickered like a dying ember, but a spark of resilience remained. She clung to it fiercely, finding solace in the memory of the collective she had lost. Their voices echoed in her mind, reminding her of the strength she possessed, urging her to fight against the chains that bound her.
With each degrading scene, Robyn's determination grew, transforming her pain into a simmering rage. She saw through the facade of "Crimson Temptation," recognizing it for what it truly was—a testament to the darkest aspects of human desire. And in that recognition, she vowed to reclaim her power and break free from its suffocating grip.
CHP6: The dimly lit alley behind the decrepit warehouse where "Crimson Temptation" was filmed served as an unlikely backdrop for an unexpected encounter. Robyn, her spirit bruised but not broken, found herself face-to-face with Caspian Mortcombe, the man who had once held both her dreams and her heart in his hands.
Their reunion crackled with tension, emotions swirling in the air like a storm waiting to break. The flickering streetlamp cast shadows across Caspian's chiseled features, emphasizing the intensity in his dark eyes. Robyn, defensive yet filled with a longing she couldn't deny, met his gaze with equal fire.
"You've stooped to new depths, Robyn," Caspian stated, his voice laced with a mixture of disappointment and concern. "Reducing yourself to this—"
Robyn cut him off, her voice tinged with regret and defiance. "You don't understand, Caspian. I never wanted this, but I had no choice. I'm fighting to survive in a world that's swallowed my dreams whole."
Caspian stepped closer, his voice softening with a mix of understanding and lingering desire. "I know the darkness of this industry, the compromises it demands. But you're capable of so much more, Robyn. I've seen it in you."
Their eyes locked, the intensity of their connection reigniting a long-buried flame. Robyn's heart yearned for Caspian's touch, his presence a reminder of the passion they once shared. A surge of desire pulsed through her veins, drowning out the doubts that had plagued her.
In that dimly lit alley, surrounded by the remnants of broken dreams, Robyn and Caspian gave in to their shared longing. Their bodies pressed against one another, their lips finding solace in a forbidden embrace. The raw electricity that had always existed between them crackled to life once more, their connection transcending the boundaries of reason and consequence.
As their bodies intertwined, the weight of their past dissolved, leaving only the present moment—their shared desire, their mutual understanding of the sacrifices made in the pursuit of their dreams. In that stolen moment, they found solace in one another, a respite from the darkness that threatened to consume them.
But as their passion ebbed and reality seeped back in, Robyn pulled away, a mixture of longing and regret etched upon her face. "We can't keep doing this, Caspian," she whispered, her voice filled with resignation. "The world we live in won't allow it."
Caspian's eyes bore into her, a mix of anguish and determination. "I refuse to let the industry define us, Robyn. Together, we can rise above its darkness and create something extraordinary. We can reclaim our dreams."
Robyn's heart wavered, torn between the love she still held for Caspian and the need to protect herself from further pain. But in that moment, a glimmer of hope flickered within her, reigniting the fire of her dreams. Perhaps, against all odds, they could find a way to navigate the treacherous path of their desires, where passion and artistry intertwined.
CHP7: The California coastline stretched before them, the crashing waves a symphony of freedom. Robyn and Caspian, drawn together by an undeniable force, found solace in stolen moments, their time together becoming a refuge from the chaos of their respective lives.
They sought refuge in a quaint beach house, nestled amidst a picturesque landscape of sandy dunes and rolling waves. The scent of salt lingered in the air, mingling with the intoxicating fragrance of blooming flowers. Here, they could escape the prying eyes and suffocating expectations of the industry that had brought them together once again.
In the golden hues of twilight, Robyn's laughter filled the air as Caspian recounted tales of their shared past, his voice a balm to her weary soul. Their connection, forged in passion and ambition, had stood the test of time, its flame reigniting with a fervor that defied reason.
But as their blissful respite carried on, the producer of "Crimson Temptation," a man consumed by jealousy and greed, grew increasingly restless. Donovan, a ruthless figure with a penchant for control, confronted Caspian one evening, the tension between them palpable.
"What do you think you're doing, Mortcombe?" Donovan sneered, his voice laced with venom. "You think you can just steal my budding starlet and get away with it?"
Caspian met Donovan's gaze, his own eyes blazing with defiance. "I'm not stealing anyone, Donovan. Robyn is not a possession to be claimed. We have a connection that goes beyond the confines of this industry."
Donovan's face contorted with rage, his voice seething with a dangerous edge. "Mark my words, Mortcombe. If you continue down this path, you'll regret it. I have the power to destroy everything you hold dear."
Caspian stood tall, his voice steady and resolute. "You underestimate us, Donovan. Love and passion are stronger than any threat you can conjure. We will not be controlled by your darkness."
As Donovan stormed off, the threat hanging in the air like a noose, Caspian returned to Robyn's side, his presence a shield against the encroaching storm. Their bond deepened with each passing day, their love an anchor in the tempestuous sea of the entertainment world.
Together, they vowed to navigate the treacherous currents of the industry, to create art that spoke to their souls and defied the conventions that sought to confine them. They became each other's muse, igniting creativity and passion with a single glance or touch.
In the late hours of the night, as the moon cast a silvery glow over their entwined bodies, Caspian whispered words of adoration, his voice filled with a mixture of reverence and longing. Robyn, her heart brimming with love, echoed his sentiments, their declarations intertwining like the intricate brushstrokes of a masterpiece.
CHP8: The weight of the industry's demands and expectations bore down upon Robyn and Caspian, threatening to extinguish the flame of their love and creativity. But in the face of adversity, they made a daring decision—to break free from the clutches of the entertainment world and forge their own path.
In the quaint beach house that had become their sanctuary, Robyn and Caspian hatched a plan. They would take their art into their own hands, reclaiming their creative freedom and sidestepping the suffocating constraints of the industry. Their vision became clear—they would create intimate and authentic films, placing their work directly into the hands of their audience.
With trembling excitement and a sense of rebellious liberation, they embarked on their new venture. They turned to a platform called "OnlyFans," a place where they could showcase their films without compromise. It was a risk, a departure from the traditional avenues of success, but they held onto the belief that true artistry lay in the hands of those who were unafraid to challenge conventions.
The beach house became their makeshift studio, a haven where their visions could come to life. Robyn's natural beauty radiated as Caspian captured her essence through the lens of his camera. Each frame whispered of their connection, their love and creativity intertwined in a seamless dance.
As they released their first independent film on OnlyFans, their audience responded with an overwhelming embrace. Their work resonated with those hungry for raw emotion and unfiltered storytelling. Robyn and Caspian became a symbol of artistic rebellion, a beacon of authenticity in an industry plagued by artifice.
In the intimacy of their digital platform, Robyn and Caspian found solace and empowerment. They were no longer subject to the whims of producers or the suffocating demands of the industry. Their art was created on their own terms, nourished by the connection they shared and the unyielding passion that burned within them.
As their independent films gained recognition, they became pioneers, inspiring other artists to reclaim their voices and redefine the boundaries of creativity. Robyn and Caspian reveled in the knowledge that they had escaped the clutches of the industry, creating their own world of artistry and freedom.
In the twilight of the beach house, with the sound of crashing waves as their soundtrack, Robyn and Caspian made a vow to one another—a vow to continue defying expectations, to never compromise their artistic integrity, and to forever choose love over the trappings of fame and success.
Together, they embarked on a journey of self-discovery and creative fulfillment, their spirits entwined as they blazed a trail of artistic rebellion. Their love, once threatened by the darkness of the industry, had found a refuge in their shared passion and unwavering devotion.

2023.06.01 04:10 kyrene520 Future Development Trends of Outdoor LED Electronic Screens

Future Development Trends of Outdoor LED Electronic Screens
https://www.xygledscreen.com/
Build a platform
Significantly reducing the vacancy rate of advertising screens is not only a marketing method issue, but also requires breakthroughs in technology, as well as innovative incentives in concepts and systems. Programmed purchasing has tasted the sweetness of online digital media advertising practices and opened up new niches for big data-based marketing. However, the fragmentation integration of digital outdoors scattered everywhere, first of all, requires a programmed purchase platform (APP) that can easily purchase vacant time slots and quickly launch advertisements anywhere, at any time, by anyone and for any reason (Any Place, Any Time, Any One, Any Thing). The cancellation of outdoor advertising registration in Shanghai Pudong, approved by the State Council, has created institutional conditions.
Reduce energy consumption
Logically speaking, there is nothing in the world that cannot be sold. Many large screens have a vacancy rate of over 70% because their advertising prices cannot attract enough brand advertising. The fundamental reason for the high prices is not only the high purchase price at the beginning, but also the high cost of electricity and energy. LED billboards in the United States have also been questioned by environmentalists, stating that these all-weather LED billboards consume 30-46 times more energy than ordinary American households. The Outdoor Advertising Association of America has issued a warning to reduce electricity consumption by five sixths, which requires a reduction in electricity consumption per square meter from 660 watts to 110 watts. Today, some LED screen manufacturers in China are capable of achieving 100 watts. Mesh Screen is a good option.
Self media
LED electronic displays in outdoor spaces have localized attributes and information radiation service radius. Any large screen has the intention of becoming a visual coordinate in that area. Why isn't everything satisfactory? The relevance of the content is insufficient. Many of the content has nothing to do with the audience of passersby passing by, and even has nothing to do with small and medium-sized shops in the surrounding area. It is also known as the power of forced viewing by outdoor media. At present, the industry generally values big customers, but the advertising presence of big brands has fallen short of the media volume. The key to the improvement of China's general consumption level lies in the improvement of small companies and individuals' consumption levels. With the outdoor screen program purchase platform, LED screens can be cut and filled with fragmentation vacant time with more customers, less frequency and low price through smart phones, attracting a large number of residents, shops, restaurants, etc. in surrounding communities to become advertisers of self-produced content, adding a heavy touch of color to everyone's Chinese dream, and making the Chinese etiquette of "birthday, congratulation" on the big screen, Make the consumption of large screen happy information a shared economic habit for residents' daily consumption.

2023.06.01 03:23 georgex7 Evil Forces are Stripping Technology from Our Spaces

Hey everyone -- I have written on this subreddit about quitting the internet, and recently there have been some encouraging developments with regards to limiting technology in certain spaces. Rather than take the traditional style of writing, I wrote the following piece sarcastically because it highlights the positive direction we are heading in as a culture while simultaneously highlighting the frustration I still feel with it. You can also read this here for different formatting as well as photos. --- Last week I found myself at a crossroads—taken and deposited there by a friend—and now I am left to think. Yohanna was the beginning of a problem because she brought me to a small street that cramped buildings squeeze together. In what could only have been a mistake of urban planning, there was no highway running through it—to the contrary it was shut down for antiquated sauntering over inefficient cobblestone that left a bitter taste in my mouth. On this little planet there were no skyscrapers and the air was arid from the dearth of infinity pools. All of the buildings were covered in chipped paint. We persevered and went on. A steep staircase led us to a room full of silvers who drank wine by the bottle, and to my dismay I noticed a few young couples driven by the desire to do something different, to feel the dying pulse of past generations. Things got worse. The club was decorated in the style of the 1920s, a time long before people were creative enough to think up the fruits that have paved society’s evolution to the present day. I did not see any flat screen televisions, there was no pedestal surrounded by mirrors to pose in front of, and the female attire neither adequately exposed the bust nor the curve. We persevered and went on. A little while later—after ordering a drink in an attempt to mainline some pleasure—a group of people made their way on-stage. They carried metal objects in their hands (one was even holding wooden sticks), and when they stood in front of the traditional red drapes I recognized from pictures, the crowd used their itchy hands to applaud instead of photograph, undoubtedly confusing the point of the matter. The group commenced and—against my wishes, only for the sake of journalistic integrity—I am forced to admit that for the time that they played time itself disappeared, swallowed by the whole audience’s undivided attention. But when I felt myself falling into too deep a state of immersion, I snapped back with a gleeful thought: the music was of an outdated sort known as jazz that not even Jesus himself could promulgate—there is no way to really dance to the stuff. § In retrospect the event was traumatic—to the point of requiring the requisite therapeutic intervention—because it reminded me of what we had a firm grip on only one or two decades ago. Then, the constraints of technology did not enable the populace to film entire concerts themselves, and the paupers did not have the ability to freeze the ephemeral moments we effortlessly make permanent. I have heard some state that the acme of culture and technology came right before the turn of the millennium, but on them I shine the simple irrefutable light at the end of man’s search for meaning: What is the point of living moments that our children cannot find in the fossils we create? There is none. We did not cross over the precipice into modernity because it was easy, but because it was hard. I have video footage of when I saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I met the girl at the bar because I liked her story. I broadcasted to the world that I too saw the Mona Lisa. There is a different energy that blossoms in spaces where the only escape is into the activity, and we must prevent the wheels of culture from rolling back to a time where it is easily accessible. Such environments cannot be created alone because they require a widespread dedication to preserving an experience, so we must stand together to prevent them from occurring. Just as we use phone checks to crack the depth of conversation, we must block the passages to immersive fields that can only be entered with the entire group’s consent. Thankfully, to reach these rarefied realms requires both time as well as focus, so it is essential to use interruptions to break them with the force of detonating buildings. But as of late, I am growing worried. Historically, we have seen successful regulations reduce the prevalence of vital activities like cigarette smoking, and similar intervention is beginning again. Last week, the Surgeon General warned that social media poses a “profound risk” to the youth; earlier this month the American Psychological Association issued its first-ever health advisory on social media use; and next month Florida public schools are likely to block access to social media through their networks. On the cultural front, trendsetters are resurrecting film cameras alongside the vinyl record sales that keep on climbing—up another 20% in 2022 to the sickening tune of $1.2 billion. As I wrote in Keep Modernity, Exit the Metaverse—celebrities such as Aaron Paul and Aziz Ansari are endorsing base alternatives to smartphones that are without the frills that define our civilization; and—in what surely must be the work of propagandists—all sorts of research is indicating that humanity is unhappy with the current state of affairs: one poll claims that 70% of concertgoers do not think screens belong at concerts; another lies that 66% of people are turned off by texting on a date; a couple of charlatans state that phones make dinner more insipid. I am terrified. This sort of latent demand for change—this irreverent disappointment with the direction of our culture—is becoming more widespread. If one listens closely to the silence of our generation and studies the arc of history, a possibility emerges that we might only be living through a fantastic blip more akin to a short-term reaction to our wonderful developments than a calculated long-term adjustment. Musicians such as Tool and Placebo are designating specific areas for phones at their shows, and a nightclub called Berghain has instituted a backwards no-picture policy. The changes are coming fast and we must act get back on track. If we do not, college students might begin branding parties as phone-free, and museums might disallow them for one day each week. Restaurants may provide spaces to deposit devices, and bars could even go as far as recreating anachronistic booths. Before our very eyes they will redesign our establishments and create social stigmas that prevent our access to technology. We find ourselves at the beginning of a wave poised to fight splendor and replace it with soot. To prosper in modernity we must put a stop to the madness—before it is too late.

2023.06.01 03:01 IAmebAdger [P5V4] Chapters displaying fruits of a well-written world

AoaB part 5 volume 4 has started with an absolutely wonderful set of chapters. So much so that I had to put down the reading and write this down and share it (also because my reading partner had a long day and went to sleep, but my point is I had an amazing experience)!

Chapters in question: Archducal family meeting, Melchior and Preparing for the Temple, The Will of the Leisegangs

The reason I had so much fun is that a multitude of very different worldbuilding pieces set up by Miya Kazuki over long years are coming to a head and interacting in a glorious sequence of dialogue! The density of background to each line written is so engaging to read and this would not be possible without the mountain of worldbuilding that went on in previous volumes! To give an idea of the sheer range of background, here's a list of all the pieces that are interacting that I could think of:

0.) The timeline of past events that led to this situation:

The infiltration of Ehrenfest by nobles from a greater duchy eventually leading to Veronica's tyranny and a split of the nobles into powerful factions that foster intense hatreds, the continued threat from this in the form of Georgine and the precarious position the duchy finds itself in internally and externally as having low population and small duchy mentality but at the same time higher and higher rank.

1.) The people in the meeting and their relationships with each other:

Sylvester: The archduke who wants the best for every member of his family but also his duchy, however his selfish desire to devote himself to Florencia leaves him struggling to secure support after he axed most of his previous support base during the purge. He seems to be feeling some hidden pressures as strangely he is cautioning against the positive change affected by Rozemyne and co...

Florencia: The only wife and leader of a noblewoman faction who has to share Sylvester's burdens and somehow cope with a pregnancy at the same time

Wilfried: The boy who can't seem to mature fast enough to deal with being expected to succeed and being influenced as well as looked down upon by seemingly everyone outside of his immediate family (his retainers, the royal family, fellow archduke candidates). He has experienced Rozemyne as both a saviour and a troublemaker (lately mostly the latter, an attitude which puts him at odds with Rozemyne's retainers) and appears very susceptible to his father's pressures

Melchior: The bright-eyed little bro who just wants to help, but can already feel the weight of temple burdens on the horizon

Rozemyne: The narrator who is... several things to countless people and therefore somehow involved in everything and anything we can think of in this world, even though she would rather hole up with some books and leave everything to others. Alas, everything would fall apart if she did that, so we need her to bounce back from mental hits and find motivation through emotional connection. In the meantime Hartmut, one of her Leisegang retainers, is watching and reveals quite a bit of insight later. Her other Leisegang nobles are blind-sided by what their faction is doing and not happy

Charlotte: The emotionally intelligent sister who while bitter about being put underneath Wilfried has found purpose in supporting Rozemyne. She has some Leisegang retainers and her experience with the printing industry puts her in a position to understand what logistics they are up against. It is her empathy-driven spit-session that starts to bring out what's really going on and breathes new life into Rozemyne whose emotional connection was slipping away

Bonifatius: The loving grandpa who wants Rozemyne out of the temple and preferrably in line to succeed

Karstedt (presumably not in the meeting, though indirectly a relative): The father who is overworked from all the purging and Lord of Winter hunting and family troubles with his second wife being a criminal and his sons all having different allegiances. Luckily his first wife Elvira is a great pillar of support for everyone

Ferdinand (absent): The once-backbone of the family whose absence casts long and heavy shadows during this time when everyone is scrambling for mental and physical support

2.) Various locations in the duchy:

Groschel: One of the Leisegang strongholds. Had some bumps in setting up printing due to lack of local resources and now faces more bumps getting ready for many merchants from other duchies due to lack of hygiene and inns.

Noble buildings: Lots of unattended furniture leftover from the purge that can be utilised.

The temple: Normally shunned by everyone, is now finally getting well-deserved recognition due to various nobles including Charlotte and Wilfried participating, and other nobles finding more and more reason to offer mana and pray.

The orphanage and playroom: Children affected by the purge are getting sheltered or educated in these locations which Rozemyne helped set up.

3.) The timeline of future events and projects that need to be managed:

Stabilising the duchy: Getting nobles to settle down in their positions and restructuring archducal retainers takes some time and the Leisegang faction will have a great impact on any support base going forward

Climbing rank in the royal academy: Certain nobles are unable or unwilling to keep up with the changing status of their duchy

The archduke conference: If trade deals are made it will put quite a bit of pressure on Groschel and on Myne to manage the industry and infrastructure

Rozemyne's graduation: She will leave the temple and so Melchior will need to be trained to replace her as High Bishop. Also she will need first wife training in time to prepare. Where to find the time for all this amid the other issues?

4.) The different factions inside and outside the duchy who require different politics:

The commoners: Most of them are used to filth and will need guidance to keep a city clean. There aren't any scholars who know how to handle them in a reasonable manner, except Rozemyne. Most of the craftsmen and nobles are used to having a one-to-one relationship which hinders large scale projects

The former Veronica faction: Decimated, but clinging to Wilfried as their last bastion, they will need to feel safe enough to be integrated

The Leisegangs: The older generation mostly wants to resist change. They have lots of hatred for the other faction and support Rozemyne for succession. The elder ones are plotting in a traditional way. The younger generation has been swayed by Rozemyne's ways and sees the benefits of change in the Royal Academy

The Florencia faction: Gathering information and trying to bridge the gap between the two aforementioned factions

The royal family: As if taking away Ferdinand wasn't stressful enough, now they are putting more pressure on Ehrenfest to act like their rank and on Wilfried to act like his status. They are also immensely stressed and so appreciate Rozemyne's help, although any contact with them causes Ehrenfest's higher-ups untold stress

Other duchies: Some are bullying Ehrenfest from above (Dunkelfelger unintentionally, Ahrensbach intentionally), some from below (resentful of the higher rank) and others are just happy to be connected. Many of them are hoping for trade deals which puts further pressure on Ehrenfest

2023.06.01 01:48 WhenwasyourlastBM If you do anything today, I think you should read this

Hi everyone, I'm your friendly neighborhood suicidal here. Well, I was, I had quite a lucky weekend and it led me to some insights that changed my life. All I want is for you to read this, maybe it will snowball for you like it did for me, and maybe in a week you’ll understand why I felt compelled to write this. You don't have to be open minded, as you read this post, you can even skip to the end if you’re inpatient with the speech, totally fair, I’m very long winded.
For background I've had CPTSD symptoms as long as I can remember. I have had suicidal thoughts daily, I've had attempts, I've done inpatient/outpatient programs, 5 different antidepressants, ADHD meds, DBT twice. I'm fully NC with my parents. And today I would deny it if you asked if I had a mental illness. Not because I'm in denial, not because I don't think I was living in literal fucking hell or because I think you aren't either. I probably could have and still could lose my job for my symptom related problems... I'm a RN but I'll be the first to tell you that I'm very skeptical of the way we treat mental illness in this world. I am not offering medical advice; I'm simply saying this because I've had experience as the patient and as the person handing you your Abilify in the hospital while you wait for inpatient beds in full blown crisis. Point is I fucking get it.
I'll cut to the chase; the short answer is that CPTSD symptoms mean you're closer to feeling better than the people who made you this way will ever feel. Your body and mind know how to make you better, but we've been conditioned to ignore them and listen to the "experts." All of us here will agree that we have unprocessed trauma that needs to come out. We tried everything to process it but all we do is get further and further from processing it. We cope and feel ashamed that we are doing everything right and it doesn’t help. Doesn’t fill the void. I'm going to list how I got here and what I realized to do this. The is a beta test as it were. My goal is to create a "protector" proof way to begin healing, the beginning of a healing avalanche. It's not meant as medical advice, a cure, anything other than a summary of my weekend and the insights I've had. I just want you to read. I've included optional links, there is no right way to read this. I just want you to read what speaks to you and do what speaks to you. If that's going into the comments and saying that this is the dumbest shit you've ever read, I more than welcome that because you’re already a step ahead. You’re giving yourself permission to feel/say what you want to do. If I can just push one person in the right direction then I'm happy and if you hate this entire guide and think I'm the dumbest person ever, that's still a step in the right direction. As you read, I'm hoping it'll make sense.
The boring and short answer that helped me:
IFS, a book, music, and missing my meds. But that’s not helpful to anyone, and to isolate each of those items and say it was any one thing or that this is the cure would be a total lie. First of all, don’t just drop your meds. Second of all, IFS is expensive and hard to find a therapist and many sites warn against independent use in severe trauma. I think these items happened to be a catalyst for me, but they won’t necessarily be for you.
The Longer Story:
About 2 weeks ago I missed a dose of medication and heard a beautiful song on H3 Podcast. A small part of me was just so excited to feel. And it occurred to me that this woman couldn't have made such good music if she didn't feel. What was wrong with feeling? I began to ponder that. Still fully numbed to the world. You see, I spent the last 3 years in an avoidant Effexor haze/THC haze. I had been pondering my CPTSD for so long and I realized I could ponder it forever and ever, but I can't think myself whole. I have to feel it. But then I buried that part. How silly? I knew that part was there, and I knew I was burying it. Why was I doing that? But I started missing my meds more and more. I was opening up to the idea of feeling. I was flooded with suicidal thoughts, and I broke down and called Kaiser despite knowing how much kaiser has triggered me in the past. I needed something bigger and better than CBT/Coping/DBT/Pills. I would not allow them to stop me from feeling. I went off my meds (don't do that without consulting or reflecting first. I just knew it was a personal need and I was ready). And a snowball effect happened. Not because I am magic or stopped my meds. But because the cognitive part of me that knew I needed to feel to get better was trustworthy. A mess of signs in the world were occurring, and as a devoutly non-spiritual person it was clear. It had to be because I actually DO KNOW what's best, and I was choosing to see these things in the world because that part of me has always been there. Screaming for my attention but I wasn't listening. It turns out that I just needed to give myself permission to feel the bad things and that snowballed. But easier said than done. I can’t exactly pinpoint what did it for me, so below I’m going to list the items I used in tandem to warm myself up to healing. There are no right or wrong answers, but I think it would have been very very easy for anyone of these items to fail individually. It came down to a perfect storm for me, but one set off the other and they all worked as a collective. Importantly, there are many things I didn’t do.
What I didn’t do:
Stop “bad” habits: There is a reason I overeat, smoke ‘too much’ weed, oversleep, etc. An IFS model would say there are no bad parts. These things all are done with benevolent intentions. A part of you is putting out a fire. The second you set an intention to stop these habits, a part of you gets very uncomfortable. Honor these parts. You can die a carton-a-day smoker, but if you quit before that part is ready, I think it’s going to become much harder to feel whole. IFS is definitely a great model if you struggle with these things. I’ve now realized that traditional healthcare partially didn’t work because the parts of me are creative and stubborn. Alarm bells go off at the thought of being told they can’t do what they want.
Meditate/”self-care”/Mindfulness: Fuck those amiright? But seriously, after spending decades failing to feel anything positive from these things, I’ve learned it’s because people who don’t actually understand it do a terrible job of teaching this. It’s so isolating to hear that when it’s done nothing positive for you. I felt like such a failure. For me it turns out a part of me is terrified of emotions, sitting in “meditations” felt like torture, I would become so distracted and miserable. The idea of “watching thoughts go by and doing nothing” is less than ideal. It supports the misconception that there are bad or good thoughts or feelings. I’m a firm believer in looking at thoughts. Why am I thinking about hulk right now? What am I afraid will happen if I don’t think about hulk? Same goes for self-care. I think these things are methods we use to avoid feeling what being human feels like. Many of us will find we never felt what it’s like to be human. That’s okay, that part of you is in there.
Therapy: Every therapy session I’ve been to felt like I was just justifying my existence to someone else. If a therapist isn’t open to feeling, you will never get better. They probably don’t know even know they are afraid to feel also. The moment I said to myself “I am suicidal, I want to die. That’s okay. It means I need to fix something” instead of “Oh no I’m sick and I’ll never be happy and this feeling is wrong it means I’m bad.” Again, this all seems silly, its not something I can cognitively get into your head, it’s something you need to feel.
What I did do:
Feel: The simplest, biggest thing. Feeling is being human, for better or worse. I was lucky, I missed meds and found profoundly beautiful music that spoke to me. That may not be your life circumstance and it may not feel or be safe to feel yet. That’s okay. I had no agenda, I put on music I loved and got into my car and just listened to the music. As emotions came up, I just felt them. I KNOW THIS SOUNDS SMOOTHBRAINED! I’m very aware of that. But this is where the snowball happened for me the most. I think it’s important to find music that speaks to you, but my personal example was a little insane. I used to listen to a band called Beware of Darkness. In 2014 they had millions of fans and I hadn’t heard them probably since 2016 or so. When I decided it felt good to feel, even the most hurtful emotions, I knew this band meant a lot to me and the frontman had very profound lyrics and emotionally touching music. I put the band on and just drove, around the block, to the beach, to the carwash. I was feeling, the lyrics were saying everything I’ve been saying my whole life. I felt like if feeling all these things created this art, then feeling these things is fucking beautiful. And the lyrics are very dark, the writer admits to having been extremely depressed for most of his career. Anyway, this is when shit got weird. I had been listening to the music and feeling and reading on IFS, that all felt great. Things were falling into place. But guess what? I found out that this fucker released a book a couple months ago called “Thank God for Depression.” The odds? I don’t know, but the point is: many people will go their whole lives without feeling whole, but we have symptoms guiding us there, many people don’t. A part of you just wants to feel but you’ve been so conditioned not to that you don’t even know how. Deeper parts don’t know it’s okay.
Reading about IFS: I always read IFS was helpful, and I always knew of its existence. However, I never would have been able to really give IFS an authentic chance until I saw a glimmer of hope. I think IFS and music really fed each other into helping me. I also want to give credit to a redditor who posted his helpful website. Much of the information above came from that. The only reason I didn’t just post “why you should do IFS” is because if it were that simple I’d have been cured a long time ago. I strongly believe in IFS for many reasons, but the biggest was that it provided many of the “What I didn’t do” items. Giving up on the idea that I’m sick and need to do XYZ and then I’ll be all better was huge, learning simply that I’m not broken because being sober or skinny didn’t fix anything was also huge. Also, everyone swears their methodology is best and I don’t want to debate that. I think it’s more about the restrictions we subconsciously put on ourselves than anything else, and for me, the idea of jumping into a new therapy or reaching out was not helpful. I also have a tiny thing I don’t love about IFS. It’s easy to get caught up into doing it “right.” I found myself asking “am I blended,” “am I making stuff up,” or “am I even doing this right” too many times. I think if you’re open to hearing what your parts have to say and honoring that then you can get a lot accomplished.
New perspective: Essentially that’s this whole post. I stopped seeing my CPTSD as a bad thing that I have but a blessing telling me how to honor myself and my feelings. And it’s so stupid sounding, but once you get through to enough “parts” or open up enough, quell the doubts, etc, a switch will flip and you will be amazed. It also gave me a spiritual side I didn’t know could exist. I’ve had about the closest thing a person can have to an ayahuasca experience in my bedroom with my computer, spotify, and weed. Because it turned out that a part of me was just scared I would be “cringe” or “lame,” if I felt better. Part of me thought I would be sellout if I healed. Like I’d be less cool, it seems crazy now but it’s a very valid fear. But you know, the lead singer of the band from earlier? He’s happy now and his music has never been better.
And this is where we get spiritual and woo woo and many of you are welcome to skip. But before you do, just know I have always been such a skeptic I didn’t even believe in Santa as a 4-year-old and I never once believed in God. I always thought spiritualism = religion = the cause of so much suffering.
Ayahuasca: I haven’t done it. It’s come up many times in this post though. From a more clinical perspective, ayahuasca can help people access the parts in IFS. I have another post with great discussion in the comments, but I would guess using both Aya and IFS together would have like a 99.9% efficacy rate in CPTSD, however nobody is going to do that research in the states anytime soon. Aside from the whole War on Drugs part of things, I think it would be disrespectful to use this plant medicine without a Shaman who knows how to respect it. But there is a saying “Ayahuasca starts working the moment you answer her call.” And as you read the post, you can see she has been calling me very loudly. Whether or not you believe in that quote, you can’t deny the serious of fortunate events that led me here. 8 days ago someone discussed their experience with Aya on H3 Podcast and the host Ethan played this music that next day. I was tapering my meds and as I mentioned, it felt so good. And that lead to me listening to Beware of Darkness. Who's lead singer wrote "Thank God for Depression". That author in the book? First page he is talking about Aya, the day I put on his music for the first time in years was after hearing that other music on a podcast, the very same podcast where a woman tells the host that Aya has helped her, the very day I missed my meds and first opened up to the idea that feelings are good. It’s turtles all the way down. Maybe you believe it’s more spiritual, but even on a more skeptical level, I made those connections because I knew what would help me. IFS would say it’s “Self Energy,” a Shaman might say it’s the divine, a Buddhist might say it’s enlightenment. But ultimately that’s the goal, whatever you call it. It’s the thing that fills the hole you don’t know how to fill.
Anyway, every second since I've "flipped this switch," "found self," etc I have another "aha" moment. The world makes more sense, the stars align, and I feel grateful for CPTSD. It's easy to tell myself I'm having a manic episode, it's only been a couple days, its the effexor withdrawal. I see how that would be the obvious answer to everyone. It would make sense. But on the other-side. From the perspective I've gained now, I have the hope and confidence to know that's not true. Because I've literally never felt whole until now. And I'm holding onto that wholeness. There is a lot of parts work I have to do, I'm seeing a shaman in a couple weeks, and there's still the economy/state of the world. But I have something to hold onto and just wanted to share it with anyone who wants that too. I want feedback, DMs, etc. I'm a baby in the world of being happy, so I'm not going to pretend I have anything together. But I have the thing and the thing is what matters.
Resources/things I've referenced:
HOLY GRAIL: LEVI you are a beautiful person and this webite imo is the holy grail. Shoutout to u/IntegralGuideAuthor
Thank God for Depression: $10 on amazon, I haven’t even finished it but it’s been a huge source of insights. But it might just have worked because the author is so special to me.
H3 Podcast Clip discussing Aya
Music Ethan played next Day: Very relatable music. “Someone smiled at me today and I cried because I realized I don’t like myself.”- Elizabeth Homes, very new artist and talented foot soldier.
Beware of Darkness: Kingdom will Come: I forced myself to pick one song. If you need music ideas that’s my bread and butter. But this one song says more than this whole post could for me.
REDDIT! All of you were on my mind. All the posts here remind me how I’m not alone in this.
Ayahuasca: DM if you want to talk about this, I haven’t done ayahuasca yet and it would be a bad idea to act like I have. However, if after all this you feel it’s YOUR personal next step, I tell you the information I've found to point you towards a retreat.

2023.06.01 01:16 Icy_Appointment8852 [Diplomacy] Old Relations, New partners.

[Private]
A high-Level summit between the Prime Minister of Israel, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland
The Israeli-Polish relationship can be most accurately described as being complicated. With over 1/10th of Israel's population qualifying for Polish citizenship, there is a strong historical link between the two nations. Relations have been strong since the Polish restoration of democracy in 1989, although recent years have led to a number of controversies.
One of the most concerning blips in the Israeli-Polish relationship was caused by the 2021 restitution law controversy. With restorations growing back to normal over the years, it is important that these issues are addressed, and relations progress, especially when Europe is facing significant issues as a result of the Russo-Ukrainian conflict.
The Israeli Government would like to bring the Israeli-Polish relationship to the next level and believe there is plenty of mutual interest in such an agreement, especially as both are close allies of Washington. Therefore the Israeli Government has prepared a number of proposals for the Polish Administration to consider.
1) The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs once again requests that the Polish Government withdraws the property restitution law which prevents victims of the Holocaust from claiming back their property. This is crucial in order to protect the rights of Holocaust survivors and their descendants.
2) The Polish Government take action against growing Anti-Semitism amongst the far left in Poland which has been present ever since the days of the People's Republic. This is particularly concerning, as the safety of the Jewish community in Poland is in doubt as a result of their actions.
3) We further request that the Republic of Poland withdraws recognition of this supposed "Palestine", which is nothing more than a terrorist entity with no legitimacy, and further work with other European states to lobby for a withdrawal of recognition of this non-existent state which undermines the territorial integrity of the State of Israel. On this point, we additionally request the Polish Embassy to be moved to Jerusalem.
4) [Very S] The Israeli Government is willing to cooperate with the Polish Government on nuclear matters. While the State of Israel neither confirms nor denies the operations of nuclear weapons, it is the opinion of the Israeli Government that there is a large number of highly trained nuclear experts that may or may not have experience, currently or previously, possibly willing to engage with Poland on the creation of nuclear technology of a "defensive" nature. This will only be possible if the Polish Government cooperates on all other points. [/S]
5) The Ministry of Trade wishes to further expand trade links with Poland, especially in the area of high-tech equipment, and packaged medicaments in order to tie the two nations closer together. Therefore we would like to establish an Israeli Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw, Krakow, Lodz, Poznan, and Gdansk.
6) [Very S] It is clear to the Israeli Government that the Polish Government is undergoing a rapid modernisation process. Israel has some of the finest ground force equipment in the world, and is willing to offer a number of discounts for the Polish Government, if the Polish Ministry of Defence begins to purchase a larger quantity of equipment from Israel, as well as allows for the operations of Mossad through Poland, which would grant it access to the wider European Union. [/s]
We look forward to fruitful discussions on economical and political matters.

2023.06.01 00:45 TheThinker12 Since everyone is into Bob leg pulling, I asked ChatGPT to write a storyline for him. Enjoy!

Prompt: Can you write a storyline for a Mahesh Babu movie?

ChatGPT Response [my comments in italics]:
Certainly! Here's a storyline for a fictional Mahesh Babu movie:
Title: "Guardian of Justice"
Synopsis:
In a sprawling metropolis plagued by corruption and crime, we meet Arjun, a charismatic and principled young man played by Mahesh Babu. Arjun, an ex-soldier, returns to his hometown after the tragic loss of his parents and witnesses the rampant injustice prevailing in society. Determined to make a difference, he takes it upon himself to become the "Guardian of Justice."
Arjun adopts a masked vigilante persona, known as "Justice Warrior," and sets out on a mission to expose and eliminate the city's powerful and corrupt figures who exploit the weak. With his exceptional combat skills, intellect, and a network of loyal allies, he becomes a symbol of hope for the oppressed.
As the Justice Warrior's actions gain momentum, the city's underworld, led by a cunning and influential criminal mastermind, becomes threatened. The criminal orchestrates a series of dangerous obstacles to thwart Arjun's pursuit of justice, leading to thrilling chase sequences, intense action sequences, and electrifying confrontations.
Meanwhile, Arjun's personal life intertwines with his mission as he forms a deep bond with Anjali, an investigative journalist committed to unveiling the truth behind the city's dark secrets. Together, they uncover a web of conspiracy that extends beyond their wildest imaginations, revealing the interconnectedness of corruption, power, and the fight for justice.
Throughout the movie, Arjun faces dilemmas, tests of faith, and personal sacrifices as he questions the boundaries of vigilantism and grapples with the consequences of his actions. He realizes that his ultimate goal is not just to punish the guilty but also to inspire the common people to rise up against injustice and reclaim their city.
In the climax, Arjun faces the criminal mastermind in a high-stakes showdown, where he must rely on his strength, intelligence, and unwavering belief in justice to prevail. The movie ends with a powerful message about the transformative power of standing up for what is right, leaving audiences inspired and reflecting on the importance of integrity and collective action. [Insert bank is temple dialogue]
"Guardian of Justice" combines Mahesh Babu's charismatic on-screen presence, electrifying action sequences, emotional depth, and a socially relevant storyline to create an engaging and thought-provoking cinematic experience.
[END]
I do have to say that this cliched plotline was better than SVP and SLNE. Bob should just ask ChatGPT and save budget from paying directors and writes

Title: Contemplating Third-Party Tools: A Discussion on the Race to World First and Raiding Community
Hey fellow adventurers!
As the dust settles on the latest raid tier, Pandemonium Anabasis, it's time to address a topic that has sparked controversy and heated debates within the Final Fantasy XIV community: third-party tools. Specifically, the role they play in the Race to World First and their impact on both the raiding and casual player base.
Before we dive into the discussion, let's acknowledge that the Final Fantasy XIV development team explicitly forbids the usage of third-party tools. However, it's no secret that a significant portion of the player base, including some raiders, employ these tools to gain a competitive edge. The casual player community, on the other hand, often expresses concerns about their usage, viewing it as an unfair advantage.
The Race to World First, a thrilling and highly anticipated event, showcases the pinnacle of competitive raiding. Raid groups from around the world engage in an intense race to be the first to conquer all four bosses of the latest raid tier. Over the years, the emergence of third-party tool usage during this race has led to considerable drama and heated discussions.
Critics argue that the use of third-party tools in the Race to World First undermines the spirit of fair competition. They claim that these tools grant an unfair advantage to raiders, skewing the playing field and potentially tarnishing the achievements of those who conquer the raid tier without their aid.
However, it's important to consider the wider context. Third-party tools, despite their disallowed status, have become a common part of the Final Fantasy XIV experience. Many players use them casually for tasks such as enhancing screenshots or customizing the game's UI. The question arises: are all uses of third-party tools equal? Is there a distinction between their casual use and their implementation in competitive raiding?
The controversy surrounding third-party tools has led to ongoing debates within the community. Some argue that using these tools during the Race to World First should result in severe consequences, including disqualification or even permanent bans. They believe that only by enforcing strict penalties can the competitive integrity of the race be preserved.
On the other hand, proponents of a more lenient approach highlight the need for clearer guidelines and increased transparency from the developers. They suggest that the Final Fantasy XIV team should clarify the boundaries of acceptable third-party tool usage, allowing players to engage with them responsibly and without fear of repercussions.
So, where do you stand on this issue? Is the usage of third-party tools in competitive raiding truly cheating, or is it a symptom of a larger problem in the game's enforcement policies? Should the penalties for using these tools be more severe, or do we need a reevaluation of the rules and a more nuanced approach?
Let's engage in a civil and respectful discussion regarding the controversial topic of third-party tool usage in the Race to World First and the wider raiding and casual communities. Share your thoughts, experiences, and suggestions below, and let's strive for a better understanding of this complex issue.
May the light guide us in finding common ground,

2023.05.31 21:31 newredditbrowser Anyone else interested in religious cults?

I find them.... fascinating. I wonder how people can be brainwashed to such an extent that they commit insane and bizarre actions, sometimes even crimes like murder.
Human mind is a complex thing and this shows that under the right circumstances anyone can be manipulated.
And what about cult leaders? Are they truly delusional and suffer from mental health issues or are they master manipulators and enjoy having a group that follows and adores them?
The most recent cult case which led to a lot of people dying is from Kenya where a lot of people including children starved to death.
I feel like a cult is religious devotion and belief in end of times taken to an extreme. Some of the typical characteristics of a cult include way too much emphasis on devotion to a single person (that person can claim to be a messiah, prophet etc.), apocalyptic beliefs, being cut off from family and rest of society, us vs them approach and paranoia. I recently read an article which summed this up perfectly.
"According to California psychiatrist, Dr. Daniel Siegel, psychologically healthy people understand that although we share many similarities with others, we also have many differences too (Siegel: 2009). Rather than being a bad thing though, understanding and appreciation of these similarities and differences leads to integration and harmony as opposed to conflict.
Instead of promoting this idea of the self and others however, cults tend to assert that harmony can only exist via one way of living- theirs- with any differentiation worthy of exile or isolation. The idea of the individual “self” is disregarded." - An excerpt from the article "How Cults Change Your Brain"
I am recommending some cult related documentaries if anyone is interested.
Documentries:
• House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths (cult in a family home, I'd call it) • Keep Sweet, Pray and Obey • Waco Apocalypse • In the Name of God: A Holy Betrayal (South Korean Cults) • Sins of Our Mother
Some cults which you can Google about:
• Heaven's Gate • Adnan Oktar's cult (Harun Yahya. Btw, he is in jail now) • Jones Town
The purpose of sharing all above:
Knowing about cults have helped me on my spiritual journey in the sense that I know using my own logic and brain is not wrong. Because if you let blind devotion overpower your instinct of right and wrong, you can make grave errors. Even when following a religion, if you use logic, common sense etc., they are not whisperings from Satan. Allah/God want us to use our brain and do the right thing.
I guess that sums it up. Please share your thoughts.

2023.05.31 20:17 Ill-Ad5218 Hey ☺ Frined, My comment warrior/s lets talk about ur comment - "Dude. Nobody was ever fired for "knowing too much". WTF kind of paranoid rant did you just type? Stop getting high on your own supply, and use a fucking spell check. Jfc "

I worked for a brief period of time as an extraction yexhnician with Trulieve Cannabis in Maryland. Trulieve is renowned for their firing practices having a lawsuit against them from screwing Florida workers. Upon my initial on boarding, much happened that would make Karen's like comment Batman here doubt the validity of the claim. IF YOU HAVE IAAUE WITH MY TYPOS, ITS 2023 Most ppl can discern what was meant to be said. Though I admit I am a typo king. But I'm also a terpene Kong (poor boy they hate that one) I have an online reputation to maintain regarding honesty in presentation of cannabis knowledge and content, being a cannabis communicator online. When I speak an error I correct them. Do I make too many typos, yes I do. Does p like this make me want to correct those typos? ... no they don't. If you want content that is well written and formulated it is on my Patreon with shorter version available for free on Locals. I was offered 3 positions in total when I arrived. The cultivation management was impressed with the extent of knowledge I had and the fact I actually worked and wasn't a mooch. If you wonder what that means, mY content is available am.insure of myself, absolutely, do I think I know it all, absolutely not, I learn about cannabis everything I write an article for patreon multiple times a week. I learn something new usually nearly every time I Use my Terpoligical DNA protocol to sus out the likely experiential profiles of the cannabis. This led them to offering me another position, to choose between, cultivation of an integrated pest management position, which involves applying nematodes, ensuring health of the plants, around a multitude of other analytical and science oriented tasks. The fact I have so much attention to detail and analytical thinking is perfect for a position where absolute accurate recording of steps and product weights, etc is necessary. From there after the interview I was told I has the choice between those 2 positions but before I spoke up they told me to also check if anyone was available in the lab, and if interested to also apply there. So I did, and that's where I was hired on and that was the position of the 3 I chose to take. Yes, my friends I was let go because the management wasn't comfortable with what I knew. These companies bring on 1 to 4 or 5 l, a handful of legitimate cannaseurs, people who truely understand processing, cultivation and are able to operate a system. After these people are hired, they do not want other coming on board seeking to climb the proverbial Ladder. The defensiveness of the industry is absurd. On top of this the specific lab I worked in I was forced to sign paperwork legally binding me to not releasing the proprietary knowledge of the supercritical set up I was working on if I were to uncover the proprietary knowledge. This was something they didn't speak on openly but anyone who studies cannabis regularly, and who understands co2 extraction processes can discern from the confimration of analysis what likely is their Proprietary approach. It isn't all that special and imo the end product is less than using a standard co2 press run. On the second or third day I was working the Lead Extraction technician got a hair up his ass about me. All because i asked Ginger Snap was labeled as a hybrid. The paperwork which I would soon be responsible for must be accurately filed, and I needed to know hiw the company defined hybrid, vs indica vs Sativa. Since Gibger Snap is a 70 / 39 hyrbid sativa lean muscle question was simple.....what signifies the start of hybrid vs sativa? Is everything 5050 a hybrid and nothing else. If it leans 60/40 sativa is it then sativa and not hybrid? HE refused to answer and got butthurt as if I were calling him out for that. I simply needed to learn so u knew how to appropriately file the papers. 2 DAYS AFTER I WAS DISCUSSING A MACHINE PLATFORM called a decarobxylation system, which is the system whereby THCA is converted momentarily to THC in order to seperate the distillate from the solvent, ethanol and then quickly changes back to THCa. The movement across that gradient of pressure and tenperature from hot to super chilled sub zero temperature causes a portion ofnthebreason a purenextract is impossible to make. I began thinking about ways in which the process may be able to output stronger potency and started analyzing the system. I was discussing things like the distance across the gradient, the vaccum if lesseningnit may impact the in any way or if that possible to do, does changing the means by which the pil is retained in the wipe canister change to amount of thca abke to seperate from the solvent. Is there a way to speed up the travel across the temperature gradient? These things all could potentially increase potency output. This all contributed to the fact that once I began sussing out operations taking place around me, and putting things together, it was used against me. I will not have anyone including and especially strangers on line gaslight me about something they know little of, my boss called me to thenoffice on my 3rd day and after lying about my tardiness to which I objected, he looked over his laptop and pulled his glasses down and toldl me word for word "We know that u know more than u let on when we hired you" I was dumbfounded, and explained all I knew was basics around BHO extraction and RSO RUNS, but I didn't know how to operate or the internal workings of the suoerxritical co2 run. Ofcourse this was quite odd since I finished the exam you have to complete to show that ur able to appropriately and accurately run the supercritical without causing issues, I finished it in 3 hours. Apparentally this started the sus perception of me as the boss wasn't happy about this telling me that it usually takes people nearly all day. Thisnwasnt surprising to me as I've always had great recall for the way most tests are set up.
After this I showed up to my first might shift position and the Extractikn tech lead, captain butthurt aka crotch rocket McGhee, was gone. The exit for this part of town is very easy to miss and as instated It was my first NIGHT shift, and I missed my exit which means abkut 6 mind added to the trip, an unavoidable 6 minutes unless u want a ticket. The manager had left his excuse after thebfact was that neither myself nor my trainer were on time. I admit I was not, I was 7 minutes late. My issue with this while thing is that my Trainer, who was spoken to off the the side before having gone home early the shift prior to get rest, no they didn't send me home as well which was the first word thing. They sent him so he was well rested, asnthe night shift was less than 24 hours after this one if I recall properly. I worked the rest of the shift. My trainer arrived to outnfirst ever nightshift at 11.25 with insistence we didn't start until 1130. When 1130 came and wenthe said "where he at" i didnt know yet he had bailed and left the facility. I had tried calling the mainboss but i got no response after 3 calls and as i started to call again my trainer pulled in, mearly 30 mins late. Mindyou most peolle wpuldnt hang out outside of an extraction facility at 1130 at mnght alone, itnlooks rather suspicious. I did though and finally my trainer called the boss man. Thisnisnwhen the boss called crotch rocket McGhee l, the lead excmtract tech who told him nobody was there so he left and went home. Very responsible individual if u ask me. I covered for my trainer because he was nearly 30 mins late I was only 7 minutes late but to try to calm things and back up my trainer n not throw him under the bus, he said "what time did u get here?" And I could tell he was shuddering around not wanting to say he was 30 mins late, and I just said to hell with it "tell him we were both about 15 mins behind." Which sealed my fate. The lead returned 30 minutes later in shitnstonpers, shorts and a dirty white t shirt as of he'd just ram out the door. After throwing passive aggressive attitude at me, by slamming thebaafe in my face not holding the front door as I cam directly behind, after he opened the safe, he said "you guys OK now" neither of us thought he meant "OK I'm leaving " about 10mins later I said to my trainer "where's dickhead at?" He was gone and my trainer started to visibly get anxious abkut the situation. A run can't be off even one shift or ot can screw up the entire month He sat holdong his face for a few minites as i prepared the RSO run, and got he previous shifts winterized product from the freezer and was running it through filtration when he asked, "hey man do u just Wana try to run it all by urslef tonight?: but said it in a way that made it seem as though it was the mentor allowong the novice to use the machinery fornthe first time. I had no problems but I needed his parameter notes for the Human Machine Interface Input and to input appropriate pressures and temperatures. So I ran the supercritical co2 that night and the rso. WHen it came time to fire me I was harvesting the cannabinoid crystsls.. thr under boss said too me "are u going to work over the hour you were laTe?" And I wasn't letting that be the rhetoric of the happemstance, I said sure I can I have to harvest cannabinoids anyway but I most certainly was not late 1 hour, I was 7 minutes late." I was pulled to the office soon thereafter and told that I had been tarrdy everyday since i started which was a blatant false statement. Once I asked how they verified this as one fay I was marked tardy I know I was early and it was actually the boss who was ready and didn't see me applying ppe when he looked to check bc I had no clock in number, so he was tracking my hours. I explained that the day it occurred. I didn't just make this up, but yes it does get under my skin when trolls who don't know morncsre to understand the reality ofna situation. To say the words "nobody is fired for knowing too much" true it sounds arrogant, but it is in professional terms known as being over qualified. But rather than stating this because that sounds good fornthe employee and not so hot for the management they say "ot just isn't working out"
In the state of Maryland they can fire any one for any reason. They can fire ylu for being too fat if they want so long as they don't don't say it's because urntoo fat on the record. Maryland firing laws are so lenient u can be fired for no reason. Just becsue. So exile your comment did prompt me to rewrite this, I did so so people understand I'm not trying to be arrogant or a know ot all. I openly admit to being a student of cannabis, a well educated advanced student but non the the less. So yea my friend regardless how difficult it is for you to imagine someone in that situation.... don't tell me I am lying..... I don't appreciate it I any way. I wouldn't blurt shit I am not willing to fully back up in any happenstance. That company hired me on for my extensive understanding of a multitude of areas in cannabis as well as my experience in working factory settings and my illicit cannabis involvement and fired me for being able to Discern the goings on in the lab around me. Was it totally that I am an intelligent person and very outgoing and analytical Nonnot entirely . It was that, and captain butthurt having his feelings hurt and his active desire to have me fired as per his abandonment of his post and passive aggressive behavior when he returned and his then secondary abandonment of his post.
He believed as did the boss that I shouldn't have been able to run the suoercritical at this point, so whenI did so and did so with no errors and ran the rso, so i essentially ran thebwhole lab that was in operation that night, i must be lying about my history and trying to steal their ideas. Its called industrial espionage and imit haooens more than ppk think on cannabis industry in particular. Though this wasnt by a longshot my intent, it isnhow my firing was treated. The words "we know tou know more than u let on when we hired you" most ppl would either started crying or have just walked out or been as I was totally dumbfounded. Am I a genius, no, but do I know my shit. .. yes. And no stranger on reddit is gonna deter me from making my story heard by ppl. And exposing some truths about this new industry.
Great comment Original Commenter. . . . NOBODY WAS EVER FIRED FOR THAT.... SO REMEMEBER GUYS BEING LET GO FOR BEING OVERLY QUALIFIED ISNT A THING. DONT FORGET.
