Long story short, my mom isn't in a good marriage but she refuses to get divorced. In addition, he has threatened to make the divorce difficult and "destroy her" if she tries. He does not contribute anything to the household expenses, nor the mortgage, and hasn't done so in since 2014.

I got asked a few times on this. It left me puzzled. In our industry, I guess we are expected to show passion at our work. And contextually its not just work. it's what we love.
However, I dont plan to work an extra hour or expect to do more. At the end of the day, I am just treating it as work. And some studios will want you to stay and make friends, play some games together etc etc. While others will expect you to put in extra effort.
I usually ended up stumbling for words on this, so. 1. What's your opinion on this question? 2. And what will be your best answer?

My husband and I had what I considered to be a blissfully happy marriage for about 10 years. We had always been a bit uneven in how we split housework and chores because he works a schedule with odd hours. I’m also a total neat freak, so when I did extra cleaning and chores I knew that was my need more than his. Still, we were super happy and I was very content in my marriage.
Then, when our oldest daughter was born, I realized that I was struggling with doing a larger share of housework and a larger share of baby duties. He did some, but it was definitely still very skewed such that I did way more work than he did and I was getting really burned out.
We had our second daughter 2.5 years later and things still didn’t change. It was still really skewed towards me doing more, and I was getting really burned out really fast.
Then the pandemic hit. I got laid off and started a side hustle from home, which was going pretty well but still allowed me the time I needed for our girls. But my husband really struggled. His work changed his title and responsibilities when he started working from home, his hours changed, and he started to be home with me and the girls a LOT more than he had in the past.
He started to withdraw from us HARD. He is a gamer and already spent a lot of time gaming with his friends online before then, but when the pandemic started he withdrew from them and just started playing solo games. He started staying up really late at night - midnight, 1, 2, sometimes later - and would really struggle in the mornings with our youngest while I drove our older daughter to preschool.
He told me he was depressed and struggling. He formed new online friends and spent hours every day playing with them. He’d often start a game right before dinner and miss meals with us. He’d be grumpy when he couldn’t game late at night, or be super grumpy if he needed to wake up with the kids. I started handling most morning duties so he could sleep in, and I pretty much took on the majority of childcare. I was also still running my website and taking care of the house. He was pretty “lost.”
I tried to be really patient and give him a lot of grace because he was struggling with depression. But he was getting tons of time for gaming and getting plenty of sleep each day while I was barely getting by.
Both our girls are older now and my youngest starts school in a few months. He seems to be wanting a lot more involvement with our girls, and he seems to be helping around the house more. Things are slowly getting better. We are still not sharing the load evenly, but things are way better than they were before.
My problem now is that I’m not sure I love him anymore. I felt really abandoned when he leaned so hard into his gamer friends and pulled back so hard from me and left me to do so much parenting by myself. I was working a new “job” and still making money for our family (which I don’t work anymore, I got hired back at my old job last year). I was exhausted all the time and he was really grumpy a lot of the time about his gaming.
We started fighting a lot and we haven’t stopped. He keeps saying how he is so stressed out with our girls that he needs his gaming to “get himself back.” I keep trying to find a way to share the load together around the house and with the kids so I don’t totally shrivel up like a raisin and want to cry.
He is trying harder now, but I just don’t have the heart for this. I want to give him time to heal. I struggled with depression when I was in college and I know how it feels. I wanted to give him space to work things out and come back to me and to our girls. But he is still struggling so much and I’m feeling so many negative thoughts. I feel abandoned. Lonely. Overwhelmed. Stressed. Scared. I don’t want to leave him - I want to go back to our happy times before our girls were born. But I don’t feel the love for him that I used to.
We tried seeing a marriage therapist, but that got too expensive and didn’t seem to be working for us anyway.
I don’t want to hear about his gaming. I don’t want to talk about his online friends. I don’t want to keep telling him how much this is weighing on me and feeling like it doesn’t matter. I don’t want to have sex, I don’t want to spend time with him, and I’m Not enjoying his company anymore.
We aren’t romantic at all anymore. We struggle to find things to talk about, we don’t kiss often or hug often anymore, and sex is really infrequent. We are more like roommates with benefits than a married couple these days.
Is it possible to fix this? Can I get to a point where this relationship is a healthy model for my girls?
I’m wondering if we should find a new counselor, or take some time apart, or if maybe this is beyond fixing?
If anyone has had a similar experience I would love to hear about what you tried, what worked or what didn’t work, and learn more.

Can I keep track of my mail and parcel volume before route inspections happen and hold it against the route inspectors that they're rigging the mail count? For the other route I was on, I normally get between 900-1200 DPS and 50+ parcels/SPRs, but during inspection week there was only 115 DPS and 5 pieces of parcels..... so no shit I'm going to finish in undertime because that shit NEVER happens on a normal day. Not even a "light" day.
So what is the purpose of doing a route inspection when they can just give all the carriers one piece of mail and one piece of parcel and say "you have 7.5 hours of undertime" and then just add onto peoples route?

went on a one day fishing trip in Newport, Oregon. Got a room at a motel 6. Last night I went outside to talk on my phone after hours, the motel’s main front doors were locked, and I shut the side entrance door behind me, which requires a keycard to open it. When I was done, I attempted to get back in the motel with my keycard but it was not accepting my room key. I tried it like 10x without success, meanwhile there was a girl about my age discreetly watching me do this. Discouraged, I decided to walk away 10 ft to the main entrance doors to try them, All of the sudden the girl that had been watching me scurried to the door that was before not accepting my key card, unlocked it, opened it which caught my attention, watched me plead to hold the door and closed it with force to make sure I couldn’t get to it, she deliberately locked me out. It locked behind her, and she stood there and just looked me in the eyes with a blank expression and walked away upstairs.

I had sex with my boyfriend using a condom, in which when he was pulling out after finishing we noticed it completely broke, the entire top of it. We immediately went to get plan b which i took less than an hour after it happened. BUT, the issue is, I think I am ovulating. I have the usual ovulation symptoms I noticed a day or two ago and it is exactly 2 weeks after my last period / before my next one. So now i’m scared i will get pregnant as plan b is supposed to stop ovulation. I heard you can get a copper iud inserted as emergency contraceptive up to 5 days after, but it’s Sunday tomorrow and NOTHING is open. I tried booking an appointment online with planned parenthood but they had no openings, and many aren’t open until Tuesday even. What should I do? If i do get the iud, will it still be just as effective if I get it 2-3 days afterward since I may not be able to get in anywhere until then? Do you think planned parenthood or anywhere else would take me in if I called? Anywhere that could be open Sundays for emergency IUD? Should I even get it in the first place? I’m insanely terrified and have bad anxiety in the first place, I want some advice on these questions. I’d appreciate no comments about me being stupid and should be on birth control, or that the plan b won’t work, i already am planning the worst case scenario and need advice on what to do.

I (28F) just found out yesterday I might have MDS, and I'll be getting a bone marrow biopsy in a few days. This is coming from what feels like out of nowhere as I only have very mild anemia and all my other tests have come out normal. I don't know if the shock has fully set in yet. Results will come out a week after. In the meantime I'll be telling my loved ones, but each of my parents and my SO are all going through difficult stuff in their own lives, and I feel terrible about having to break the news to them. Sometimes I feel terrified and anxious, sometimes I feel emotionally prepared for any bad outcomes. Everything's pretty new, I'm actually going to meet my SO in an hour to tell her and I'm struggling to find a way to be gentle about it.

i also met yvie oddly and lala ri!!! i just only really talked to jaida because shes one of my favorites (and my friend was talking to yvie and lala)(also im p sure i have to pay for the meet and greet pic but i will post that if i dont haha)
anyways!! jaida literally the fucking sweetest ever. they all complimented my outfit (very 80s inspired fit) and jaida kept complimenting my makeup. like after we all took the pic she like stood back and was like "wait lemme see" and i had told her i did it in the car (i worked til 7:30, m&g was at 9 and i live an hour away)and she was like "damn it looks so good!" and like the person running the m&g was ushering us out but jaida like kept grabbing my hands and kept talking to me. she also hugged me like three times im so idhfjjdjdhdhdhd this is my first time meeting famous people and jaida essence hall is amazing im so so happy to be a fan of hers. i loved the fuck outta her on the show but she is really incredible irl too. literally feel so blessed to meet her.
