Friday I had the fortunate opportunity to watch the last OTA. Here is my very amateur impression of what I observed…
Position drills:

• The first thing that jumped out to me was how crisp Moore was coming out of his breaks running stutter steps routes. I swear I could hear his feet stop on a dime before a rapid burst forward. With the news I’ve been hearing of Deshaun being enamored by him already I’m looking forward to a great connection between those two.
  
• Tillman did not excel during this drill…
  
• Siaki Ika summoned his inner Greg Meaney from The Waterboy hootin like a choo choo train running in circles after what I assume was a great rep. I didn’t catch the drill assignment unfortunately as the DL were on the opposite corner of the field from where I was seated.
  
• Cooper had a nice catch on a fly route from Deshaun that had us cheering. Kind of looked like he wasn’t running full speed for the first 20 yards until he realized he was going to be short of the pass. He turned on the burners and was able to catch it while entering the end zone after bobbling it a few times. I guess they’re still working on their timing.
  

7-on-7 drills & ST coverages:

• The staff moved our group to the other side of the field so we could get a better view (and the shade was really nice), but much of this portion had limited view-ability despite being closer to the players overall. The inactive players and staff basically formed a wall so I could only catch glimpses here and there. I wouldn’t be shocked at all if this was intentional…
  
• Not much to note from STs other than the first few kick off drills were operated with a jugs machine before Cade kicked a few. I recall Bubba saying in recent interviews that he’s going to limit how much Cade kicks this camp thinking it may have attributed to his yips last season.
  
• From what I was able to see, the defense had the upper hand throughout much of this period. The offense had a few nice passes, but most of them were short out routes or quick slants inside. I only recall a couple passes that appeared to go vertical more than 10 yards (again, hard to gauge depth from where I was standing). A few passes were deflected with each of our four QBs getting snaps, and most of the receivers probably would’ve been taken down for 5-10y gains.
  
• In the middle of 7-on-7s Perrion made a bad mistake but I didn’t catch what exactly (maybe too aggressive without pads?). Schwartz benched him immediately. Winfrey was visibly upset while Takitaki and Isaiah Thomas consoled him. After another snap or two Stefanski stopped everyone shouting something along the lines of, “When you mess up you hurt the team! Don’t do dumb shit!” I don’t recall Winfrey going back in for the remainder of the snaps.
  
• The best play of the practice by far came on a redzone pass from Deshaun. He threw a bullet to the inside corner for a quick TD, but Thomas Graham Jr jumped it perfectly for a pick 6. The D went wild. I couldn’t hold back a few barks of approval, too. Deshaun didn’t throw another pass after that.
  

Other notes:

• Last time I saw a practice they were working on expanding the field along Pearl Street. The fence is now widened with a nice field of grass growing. I’m not sure what they plan on doing with that area though as it isn’t all that wide at all. Probably can’t do much there aside from some individual drills.

Anyhow, that’s about it. I hope that was worth reading. As Zac Jackson said, take all this with a grain of salt. Still a lot of fun to watch though.

Just expressed my desire to get a buzz cut to my family. I’ve been wanting short hair for a while, but can’t afford a nice gender affirming haircut yet so I figured I could just get my dad or brother to give me a buzz cut and then as it grows out I can get it styled. My brother has always been supportive and was on board, but said he wouldn’t be able to do a super good job. My dads immediate response was “I won’t be responsible for that monstrosity” ….. IT MAKES ME SO MAD BECAUSE THE ONLY REASON HES SAYING THAT IS BECAUSE IM AFAB. Theres a lot of things I do to help me express my gender identity, and one of them is I don’t shave. And my dad does NOT leave me alone for that. He’s always going on and on about how gross and weird it is and how everyone should be giving me shit for it. My brother will give me shit for it sometimes but not as much as my dad. It sucks because my dad is a sweet guy and I love him. But he’s just super insensitive sometimes. Idk if it’s just because he’s Mormon and there’s all that deep rooted misogyny in the culture, or if he’s just unaware of how comments like that might make someone feel but it hurts. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to tell him I’m non binary. He’ll always just see me as a girl.

Tank Idea:
Name: An Actual Splitter
Looks like a hivemind and shoots basic bullets, will not split automatically, however, when right-clicked/shift, it will explode into 30(max) small hiveminds that don't reproduce. The main tank will be gone and the player will be controlling these drones as if controlling a tank. The amount of drones depents on the health of the main tank, shield doesn't count. if one drone collides with another, they will fuse and become a larger drone. The player can right click again to fuse all of the drones together to form a big tank. If the player fuses with less than 30 drones, the main body will have less health, but will maintain the same size. If the player fuses the drones manually by colliding them with each other and there are less than 30 drones, the main body will automatically grow to full size. If all of the drones die in the split state, the player dies as well.

ik the actual story behind the lyrics and everything, it's just that when i listen to it on some places the intro sounds like a machine gun going rapid fire and one of the lines is "darkness imprisoning me" but in the actual album it's a 10 minute long song which is kinda slow. also when i search up the line "darkness imprisoning me" i get the song one, but when i comb through the lyrics to see if i missed anything i don't find the line anywhere

As the title implies: In light of the most recent news on soherical UAPs I got to thinking about a mission where you are scrambled to intercept a mysterious object on radar seemingly performing impossible maneuvers to then encounter a pill/ball shaped aircraft. It could be able to dodge practically any attack, including bullets. Maybe you encounter it just long enough to get a good look at it before it zips off. Has BD mentioned anything about doing anything like this?

Running at 100mph and never slowing down, Takahashi and Allin started the match with a bang, immediately trading fast-paced offence with a distinct disregard for their wellbeing. Their high-octane bout continued to amaze the audience with twists and turns as both men wrestled for the upper hand, but ultimately Hiromu was able to stop Darby dead in his tracks to retain.

Bryan Danielson vs Kota Ibushi
To open the main card, Kota Ibushi and Bryan Danielson prepared to go to war in a continuation of The Golden Elite’s feud with the BCC. The pair tested the waters to begin, trading reversals and submission attempts before both men gave up and resorted to violent strikes, a brutal encounter ensuing after. Following a 30-minute clinic with Kota and Bryan pulling out all the stops, Ibushi was able to counter a Busaiku and land a Kamigoye to silence Danielson.

Toni Storm vs Mayu Iwatani – Champion vs Champion
With The Outsiders ruling over AEW with an iron fist ever since Toni Storm’s title win at Double or Nothing, her dominance was about to be challenged by the top champion in Japan, Mayu Iwatani. Mixing their different styles together in a fluid clash of techniques, Storm and Iwatani proved why they’re the ace of their respective brands, with Storm asserting herself as the superior champion over Mayu to stand tall.

The House of Black (c) vs Los Ingobernables De Japon – AEW Trios Championship

And at the show, KENTA fell to a similar fate after a gruelling bout between them, White standing tall over his former stablemate.

Thunder Rosa vs Mercedes Mone
Returning after a short hiatus from injury, Mercedes Mone wanted a certain Thunder Rosa for Forbidden Door, and they made sure to live up to the expectations of their dream clash, having a fiery encounter complete with close submission finishes and near falls. Yet with both of her recent championship failures fresh in her memory, Mercedes went all in to get a win here, beating Thunder Rosa after a red-hot match.

Jon Moxley vs Katsuyori Shibata
Because we all need this in our life. The two hardest-hitting fighters in the business going fist to fist. Shibata’s technical prowess and sharp strike combinations melded beautifully with Jon’s brutal offence and brawler-esque style, the two having a real fight feel to their encounter. And after near fall after near fall, Mox was forced to resort to submissions in order to put away Shibata, choking him out with a Bulldog Choke in an impressive victory for The Death Rider.

Aussie Open (c) vs FTR vs The Young Bucks – IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championship
The hottest tag team in the world currently in Aussie Open called out the best AEW has to offer and were met by two former opponents: FTR and The Young Bucks, the two AEW teams already having a rivalry of their own. All 6 men involved took advantage of the Triple Threat rules, with 3 men always competing in fast-paced and dynamic action. And with crazy spots keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats the whole time, one final Coriolis saw Aussie Open retain over the two legendary tag teams.

MJF (c) vs Hiroshi Tanahashi – AEW World Championship
Wanting to add to his already extensive list of former challengers, MJF called out the Ace of NJPW, knowing a win over Horseshoe would cement him as a true force to be feared. Putting his title on the line, the extremes of light and dark; good and evil; Tanahashi and MJF had a tense and dramatic back-and-forth encounter, with MJF using any opportunity he got to try to cheat a win, but Tanahashi countered his attempts, getting insanely close call after insanely close call. Yet it wouldn’t be enough, with MJF low-blowing Tanahashi out of the ref’s sight and stealing a win over the Ace.

CM Punk vs Kazuchika Okada
With a certain rematch going on last, this huge dream bout was forced to be the penultimate clash of the night as CM Punk took on Kazuchika Okada in a match that fans had been wanting for decades. Punk’s new heel alignment was reflected in his offence, juxtaposed against Okada’s pure excellence, and the two legendary figures traded big moves after big moves with their finishers being hyped up throughout the match, ending in a singular GTS putting away Okada.

Kenny Omega (c) vs Will Ospreay – IWGP United States Championship
You all know how this one goes. Going to war a second time, Ospreay refused to be brutalised like last time, fighting with a violent burning passion against the final boss Omega, and after another high-octane classic, Will landed a One-Winged Angel and Stormbreaker to finally win!

Received an underwhelming job offer after a series of really good interviews. Love the role and the team, and would like to make it work, so hoping to negotiate on salary/pto. But there are also multiple compliance issues with the offer.
Their vacation policy is use it or lose it, which isn’t legal in CA (where the company and most of the staff is). Their paid sick leave is 24 hours per calendar year, prorated based on start date and % FTE, which doesn’t follow the requirements. The offer states that the role is hourly and exempt, which I know is possible in a small number of industries, but this is not one of them. I asked for clarification on the last part and they said they’d ask their finance team. Very curious what they come back with.
But what do I do here? I have some background in HR, so immediately spotted the issues, but I can’t imagine they realize there’s a problem (it’s a written offer, that would be really dumb). It’s a very small business and their finance person handles HR, and clearly isn’t equipped to do so.
My current plan is to wait to hear back about the clarification, and then ask to schedule a call with them and explain the compliance issues (while pointing out that my range of experience is another reason I’m worth more than they offered!). Is this a terrible idea? How would you all recommend I handle it?
I wouldn’t want to work there if they don’t take the compliance issues seriously, so I figure if they react poorly I’m dodging a bullet. But would it be better to accept the role (if I can negotiate the salary and PTO) and then bring it up? I’m not currently working and could really use the income ASAP, but I’m also in consideration with five other places (that unfortunately are moving at a snails pace), so if I lose the offer for bringing up the compliance issues, I’m confident that I will have another offer soon enough (and likely a much better one).

This was just a fun Stasis Exotic SMG idea I had that could be incorporated in a Stasis focused season. This isn't meant to be taken too seriously and might be abit too op.
Gun is modelled after a PP-19 Bizon and will have 64 rounds in the magazine with the magazine basically just being a tube of Stasis liquid.
Exotic Name: Glaciis
Exotic Perk: Glacial Momentum
Glacial Momentum: Every 8th shot fired releases a slowing stasis burst. If the majority of shots landed are precision hits, the burst is amplified and grants a short Stasis overshield. If an enemy is already slowed from the first burst, subsequent bursts freeze them. Each time an enemy is slowed, it builds up charge. Charge accumulation increases diminishingly based on the number of enemies frozen.
When enough charge is accumulated, allows the swap to alternate firing mode. In hip-fire mode, unleash a short and wide spray of stasis crystals, freezing all enemies caught in its path. While aiming down sights (ADS), fire a slower, concentrated stasis bullet with heightened damage. However, in alt-firing mode, gun has higher recoil and user has decreased mobility but a slight increase in resilience.
This was just a fun thought I had because as an avid stasis user who hates using trace rifles, this idea popped in my head. I tried introducing some trade offs such as the SMG requiring to be in a closer range compared to Ager's and reduced mobility in alt-firing mode.

I asked Google to play "Take it easy" expecting the Eagles to play, but it played "Take it easy" by Surfaces instead.
The two songs are completely unrelated, just the title is the same. The Surfaces song lyrics are an invitation to just chill, I like to play it on vacation and a reminder to take it easy.

Yaegaki is a bonus song included when purchasing both Intrauterine Education & Static/雨と体液と匂い Singles. Unfortunately, there are no official lyrics for this piece, and while I considered trying to transcript it, I ultimately threw in the towel due to difficulty ascertaining words, however, someone did had a pretty decent go at transcripting the song:

However, something of note is that Yaegaki is likely based on a 5-act drama named Honcho Nijushiko, where a princess named Yaegaki is the heroine of. Honcho Nijushiko was originally performed as a Bunraku (a Japanese traditional form of puppet theatre), and is later adopted into Kabuki (a Japanese traditional form of theatre) plays. The main gist of the drama is that it takes place during the Sengoku era, where Princess Yaegaki saves her beloved, Takeda Katsuyori, who was caught up in the conflict between two generals, with the aid of a blessed helmet and its Kitsune escorts.

As for the song itself, it’s a gentle piece, very much reflected by the subdued nature of momocashew’s vocals. The only instrument of the song is the piano, giving the entire song a very clean & pure feeling, except for the beginning of the piece where there is a rainfall ambience that slowly fades away. As for how much this reflects on Honcho Nijushiko or Princess Yaegaki, I do not know as I have not watched a performance of it, though the lyrics of the song talks about deep love.

Kapura's Theme:

It kind of went under the radar, and unfortunately kapura’s website is no longer up, so the song can’t be listened from its original source. Thankfully, there is a fan-upload of the song linked above which, as far as I am aware, should be identical to the song on the website.
The piece is also gentle like Yaegaki, but has a very different flavour to it. Firstly, momocashew’s vocal is Miliese or Milish, or in other words, the made-up language used in Sacramentum & Gertrauda (note that I generalise this to made-up languages in Mili songs). Secondly, there are simply more instruments for Kapura’s Theme, like synths, percussion and something that sounds like a music box. As such, the song feels like it’s something from a carnival or circus, with momocashew’s vocal performance being dreamlike & ephemeral. Very fitting for the artwork seen in the fan-upload (the artwork is also what you would have seen front & centre on kapura’s website).

Conclusion:

Now these are some real hidden Mili songs that are also completely original, with one that can only be obtained by ordering physical Mili products and the other being made for an artist that worked with Mili for their website that’s no longer accessible. I hope some of you get a lot of enjoyment out of these literal hidden gems.

Okay, weird title, I know.
Oracular Spectacular came out when I was in 7th grade. I obviously knew "The Big Three" since they were played literally everywhere. At the time, I was more into alt/screamo/metal. You would catch me at Warped Tour any day over more "mainstream" festivals like ACL or Hangout (dude Hangout Fest in 2017 was one of the best weekends of my life. For real seventh grade me didn't know shit.)
I didn't get really into MGMT until the pandemic. I watched that one Middle 8 video about how Kids, TTP, and Electric Feel were basically made as memes. I thought their story was super interesting, so I went and gave their stuff an honest listen.
And wow.
"Congratulations" is a near-flawless album. "MGMT" basically makes me cry every time I listen to any of the songs. One of my really good friends showed me the music video for "When You Die," and it recreated exactly how I'd felt during my absolute worst trips. I've been working on this cartoon (not for kids) for a while and have some possible avenues for getting a pilot made. If they won't let me use licensed music because it's "too expensive," I'm just gonna pay my own damn money to have "When You Die" in there because every time I listen to it, I envision a pivotal scene in my story.
Whenever I listen to the self-titled album, I'm filled with this immense sadness. I think about when I was suicidal, in-and-out of the psych hospital, ready to die--yet I just couldn't succeed in my attempts (not for lack of trying, though.) I'm experience this weird longing for days I never had. This childhood I always wanted--the "Alien Days," I guess. It feels like each one of their songs resonates with some period of my life, some aspect of depression or regret, highs only created from lows, enlightenment and burnout.
Reading Andrew's lyrics, I realize that a lot of the things I've been writing about and trying to put into words for years, he somehow has. It's astonishing. MGMT has inspired me more than any other artist has in the last few years.
At this point, I would pay any amount of money to see them live just once. I really hope I get to one day. I'm so sad I slept on them for so long.

Most people don’t like to train cardio.
It’s usually viewed as an endless running session, on a treadmill that leads to nowhere, getting little to no results at all in the process.
So today I will share my favorite workout, to make sure you burn fat, and build solid strength and speed!
The goal is to get your heart rate up, sweat bullets and exhale a lot of CO2. Hint: combining these 3 things is the ONLY way to burn fat.

1/ Let’s start with some agility work with the skaters runs - back pedal combo.
Go for 8-10 steps, and pause for a split second every time you land, then come back to your initial position running backwards at a moderate pace.
Repeat the process for 10 sets.
Rest 30-60 sec between sets.
2/ We’ll continue with some broad precision jumps, for explosive cardio strength and agility.
The goal is to go as far as possible with a clean landing on each jump. This means you should be able to stay where you are after landing. Precision is key!
Go for 8 jumps and repeat for 10 sets.
Rest 30-60 sec between sets.
3/ Finally we’ll burn out the left over energy with some jump rope double-unders.
The goal is to skip the rope twice under your feet on each jump.
Go for 10-30+ jumps and repeat for 10 sets. Substitute with single jumps and double the amount of repetitions if you can’t do double-unders yet.
Rest 60-90 sec between sets.
This workout is guaranteed to make you burn fat, build speed and cardio strength.
Adjust the overall amount of sets depending on your level:

• Beginners can reduce sets by 50%
• Intermediate can reduce sets by 25%

We all know themes with lyrics are good and all but we kinda need to give love to instrumental themes as well.
Personally for me I really like Head of The Table The Rising Visionary Dark Side of TR and Tokyo Shock as far as recent examples go yes I know the rising isn’t current but I still like it.

Bought a lever gun and the manual says for 38spl try to use as close to 357 mag length ammo as possi ble. I took it out and shot my 357 and 38spl handloads and it cycled the 38spl but with occasional hiccups, but I can see why they suggest the longer ammo.
Anyway I have a lot more 38spl brass than 357, and would like to find a setup like i'm describing. I'm still pretty new at this. I tried using Hogden's reloading datacenter wizard, thats just going to give the standard lengths for both 38/357. Even trying a heavier grain bullet still ends up with a 1.45 c.o.l.
Anyone have any good links or resources for the type of load I'm looking to make?

Been playing the game a lot more recently and have been running into some play styles/mindsets from people in game that have been there since launch. So I thought I would make this brief bullet point list of things I wish more people would keep in mind/know.
No, I'm not writing this in a brief moment of exasperated rage and how dare you suggest otherwise.

1. When entering a new or any area, please take a moment to look around for and mark useful items, such as; med and ammo crates, granades, and ammo. [If you see someone else, or several other people doing so quickly(not just walking around aimlessly), please join in, kill nearby adds to protect them or generally anything BESIDES RUNNING AHEAD AND RUSHING THE OTHER PLAYERS. Just because you are impatient that your team mates are taking the time to *gasp* prepare themselves for the mission does not mean they are in the wrong.]
2. If you have no ammo/grenades and someone is spamming that they found some for you, fucking, grab them.
3. If a teammate is asking someone and or spamming that they found a crate, please, kindly, fucking, GRAB THEM!
4. (this one is more forgivable because we've all done it by mistake, but) if you are in the yellow for your ammo, and someone is in the red, that person has priority for getting ammo. ESPECIALLY if they are saying that they need ammo and running towards it.
5. if one of your teammates is a shield Ogryn and is making it a point to be at the front of the group and plant said shield in doorways and tight halls, notably during rushes and hoards, please utilize the barrier they are making by either staying behind him and shooting, or dipping back and forth around them to melee enemies.
6. when attacked by a Beast, leading it to a red barrel and detonating it will greatly aid in killing it.
7. If a teammate is attacked by a hound near you, please take the literal two seconds it will take to shoot it off of them instead of ignoring it assuming someone else will do it.

This is a total long shot but I've had this song occasionally stuck in my head for a couple years now and for the life of me I can't really remember the lyrics, name, or band. I've tried searched based on what I can remember and its never come up.
I first heard in on Tiny Desk. It's a male vocalist. The song starts with a great violin intro (but I would classify the actual genre as more as rock perhaps?). It's focused on a love story with some really powerful imagery of the woman e.g., talking about pulling you down to the depths/deep, holding tight (maybe with the lyrics my dear after it?), wrapping her ___ (legs?) around... It has a melancholy vibe.
I really wish I could remember more so I could find it! Anyone have any idea what I might be talking about??

Alright so basically I 100% like women, and all other genders but men, god men are confusing to me. I constantly fluctuate between liking and not likening men. However the last time I had a crush on a man or anyone for that matter was in first grade. I’m in 8th now and before I started dating my girlfriend I didn’t have a crush on her. But back to the men issue, I think men are hot, but saying things like boyfriend sound so wrong and weird to me and so does girlfriend but much less so. Is there a name for my sexuality? Closest I can find is Omni but I still can’t decide if I don’t like men or just have a heavy preference for anything else. The idea of masculinity is odd to me and I hate it but also love it at the same time. And on to my gender, I’ve went through being female, enby, and genderfluid but now I’m just in a spot where gender doesn’t really matter to me. I’m not sure if I’d fall under non-binary or not because pronouns don’t really matter to me and that’s why I was gender-fluid for a while, but I never really felt more masc or fem I just always felt like ehh.
