How can I improve my triple jump? Im pretty new and I dont really know the proper technique. I think this jump was 11.11m

I am trying to highlight a TileMap cell upon mouse click using a shader, something like this mockup:

I attached a shader to the TileMap (under CanvasItem > Material).

I get the tile coordinates from the tilemap script:

How do I pass the tile_coords variable to the shader, and how do I select the relevant area of the tilemap using these tile coordinates in the shader?

Not sure if this is a good approach or even possible. Let me know if you can think of an other way of highlighting cells.
