It’s so long and I’m so sorry but I really needed to get it out and I really need help.
I really need to talk to someone about a situation I’m in and what I think are some revelations I’m having about my husband and his mother. It’s not creepy incest or anything like that.
I could easily be overthinking it or I don’t know. I legitimately cannot afford a therapist and I don’t want to cause a giant mess over my potential overthinking.
It’s 130 in the morning and I’m sobbing over my 16 year relationship (10 years married) with my husband whom I so very much love and I know he loves me. I think his mom has made him her “emotional SO” if that makes sense and I think I’m just now realizing what I took him just not wanting to talk about things much is actually that he just doesn’t talk about them with me and he’s inadvertently made her his “emotional SO”
I doubt “emotional SO” is even a term but I don’t really know how else to describe it.
Growing up she depended on him a lot to help take care of things. They’re super close and I’ve always just considered him a mamas boy. She’s honestly a pretty good in-law and I’ve always felt lucky. We ended up buying the house across the street from her about 6 years ago. We’d been living with her a year and half at that point. The options in our town were awful. It was honestly a great deal on the house and things mostly work out. She’s always needed his help with everything, fixing things around her house, help with her internet, everything. It’s always been annoying but she’s also always been supportive of us and has helped us out a ton.
In the last month my husband’s bio dad passed away violently and unexpectedly. My husband didn’t have a relationship with his dad but had mentioned wanting to start talking with him and maybe letting him meet our sons. And then the vehicle accident happened. He decided to reach out to his older half-sibling and had been working with his other 5 half siblings on all the estate stuff and the lawsuit that they’re pursuing against the vehicle that killed their dad. It’s been a lot to say the least. Coming home from a gathering of the siblings this last weekend I tried to talk to my husband about how he was feeling and I got a few words here and there but not much which is normal and I really didn’t want to push him because I knew it had been a rough weekend. However the instant we pulled into our driveway he immediately wanted to go talk to his mom about it all. It hurt a lot. I’d never really been so consciously aware of it before but this hurt a lot and realizing that while he is literally my sounding board for everything, I’ve never actually been that for him, his mom is. I’ve been working to get my feelings about it in order before talking to him and then tonight happened.
I looked out front of our house because our dogs were going nuts and noticed that there was a car parked weird outside his moms house and someone pounding on the door at 1030 at night. I went up to our room where he was getting ready for bed and mentioned it. The car left at this point and he tried calling her to check on her and didn’t get an answer so he said he was going to run over there.
He did and few minutes later I got a text that everything was fine but he was going to be a minute. 45 minutes later he comes home. I asked him what was going on. He said she’d had an absolutely terrible day at work and wasn’t in a good place. The he informed me that he’s going to be spending a lot more time over there for a while.
At this point we went to bed and my mind started analyzing and I began to realize that she uses her son in place of her spouse for the emotional support you’d normally get from a spouse. She also tends to use him in place of a therapist. That’s when I realized that he may be doing the same and now we’re here and I’m losing my mind.
I love my husband and I know he loves me. If this is what’s actually happening I don’t know what to do and I don’t know how to handle it.

I know this is a really annoying post, and please don't let me hurt anyone's enjoyment of the season, I'm just ranting.
This season was over 13 hours long; season 1 was under 5 hours. And yet, I feel like all of the character arcs were nonexistent, rushed, or just plain bad.
-Jamie's arc re: his dad was well done. His relationship with Roy was well done. This last episode seemed to just randomly bring back liking Keeley as a plot device for Roy, though.
-Roy became a diamond dog, but the moment didn't feel earned at all. We haven't seen him wrestling with needing advice but being unable to ask for advice. If we saw more of his breakup with Keeley last season and him feeling alone, this might have worked. He should have been given Higgins' speech about asking for help.
-Keeley just kinda did stuff all season. I don't get what the writers were going for here, so maybe I'm just missing something. But the point seems to be "value strong friendships and personal growth/success over tying your identity fully to a romantic interest". Which, firstly, is constantly contradicted by Keeley ignoring and then halfhearteadly apologizing to Rebecca, and, two is contradicted by Beard's arc, and, three, didn't feel earned at all. The show was so concerned with the will they/won't they and love triangle and Jamie/Roy friendship that it didn't actually show Keeley making any of those realizations or that progress.
-Sam had no arc. No development with Rebecca, no final note on the restaurant or politics, which was given a substantial amount of time. He responded calmly to Edwin Akufo in S2 and then did the same thing in S3. That scene was long, pointless, and used for cheap laughs/callbacks with the glass in the pasta. Then, at the end, he just kinda makes the Nigerian team in a montage.
-Dani had no arc or development. He became mean as an inside joke to world cup fans and then became nice again. Totally out of character and a lot of screen time dedicated to a glorified fourth wall break with no real consequences. The Mask of Zorro joke was not funny or clever enough to be worth that much time.
-Zoreaux had no arc. I thought the Van Damme thing was a clever starting point for a mini-arc, except it was just overused as a joke. I heard "actually, it's Van Damme" like 15 times this season. Again, so much screentime meant none of the jokes or storylines were kept tight.
-Isaac's big moment was kicking a ball hard. Remember S2, where they picked his character, tightly explained and then creatively solved a conflict, and then that solution had an effect on the club? The pillow fight in Amsterdam was a clever callback but took up so much screen time, turned Zoreaux into a pervert, and also didn't really develop any characters.
-Beard's arc was about independently making choices and creating his whole life, I saw the thread on this. Except...the Ted backstory bomb was dropped last episode. Three seasons of Jane conflict and constantly turning his trauma into jokes and having Higgins address it led to...not much. The ending was played as a spoof of rom/coms, which is more of an endorsement than it should be, especially given the show's constant homages to rom-communism.
-Trent had no arc. He was already won over by S1 E3. Getting himself fired last season was a fantastic beat as the start of a larger arc, but it went basically nowhere - Trent respected Ted and mostly understood why his methods worked, and he still does. We got nothing from the book. Hell, Ted made the biggest change to the book. I get that he assisted others with their arcs, especially Colin, but he was set up to be so much more than that. Why was Rebecca so opposed to him being at Richmond in e1 if he'd go on to not even have a hint of a possible negative impact on anything?
-Rebecca's was a disaster. Holy hell did the psychic and the boat plot lines take up so much time. And they end with a 15 second meet cute with boat guy who just happens to have a daughter? Not emotionally satisfying or earned at all, just the writers making another cheap callback. "Hey look at this thing we did? Remember when we did that?"
-Slowly phasing Dr. Jacob out during the match was weird. A good arc would have been Michelle actively realizing that a partner sharing Henry's passions was more important than a partner being good to her - would have made her a more compelling character and been a more satisfying way to get rid of Jacob. Yes, this was kind of, sort of implied, but the show dropped the bombshell about him dating her ten episodes earlier and then didn't do much with it. It was an extensive, unnecessary, and annoying way to push Ted towards going back home.
-The show did a great job of tackling sensitive issues around masculinity and mental health in S1 and S2. In S3, Ted got rid of his anxiety by breathing, Dr. Jacob got described as being "borderline unethical" despite everyone on this sub rightfully calling him a worse human being than Rupert, and Jane's repeated emotional abuse and manipulation of Beard was always either a joke or brought up and then brushed off. S1 and S2 made tight, concise points; S3 brought up issues to seem deep but didn't feel like putting in the effort to address them in a nuanced and effective way.
-To get ahead of one possible response: Ted dreaming everything is a terrible fucking ending. Maybe it means less plot lines were horribly butchered, but it instead means those plot lines just weren't resolved at all, which is worse.
-Colin's arc was good. Every scene with Colin was amazing. Good job, writers.
-Nate's arc was solid. I have quibbles about the treatment of his dad, because a lifetime of emotional neglect and abuse can't be settled in a 2 minute conversation the way the show's other conflicts can, but whatever. The apology to Will and then Ted was great.
-Rupert's end was fitting. Also well done.
-Shandy, Jack have been discussed to death. Barf.
It's very late and I'm very annoyed, but I really hope some comments will give me another perspective. I'd like to find out what I'm missing about the finale before I flip out. I really wanted it to be satisfying - I got a little teary eyed at the ends of S1 and S2, and I gave S3 as much of the benefit of the doubt as I could - but I got basically nothing here. All the callbacks are cool, but callbacks alone ring hollow after a season the length of 6 movies. The show desperately wanted to be an hour long character-driven drama and didnt seem to deliver for almost all of those characters.

My Linksys network has been doing the weirdest thing. At first I thought it was my IPad, but then my other devices started doing the same thing. Basically my device will disconnect and say I have the incorrect Wi-Fi password, even though it is the correct password. I put the password in, says the same thing, usually the third or fourth time it finally takes the password and connects. But then it will do the same thing later. I reset the Wi-Fi and network settings on my devices but that hasn’t fixed the issue.

I just want to start of by saying I would never harm a dog or any animal, this was just something I thought at the time because I was annoyied with the noise
I got so fed up I started to think about well once that dog has passed away it will be so peaceful around here and if it wasn't for that dog then this place would be so much better etc
Then the dog went away for around a week
During this time the neighbours had told me the dog was sick and at the vets
As the days went on I started to believe that my wishing and thoughts had killed the dog and that I was responsible
After a week or so the dog returned, fully fit
It's healthy and still yapping away now
That was a scary time

I was groomed & dated a narcissist who was 32 when i was 16. I decided to stand up for myself a couple times after turning 18. One day a lot of shit transpired after i stood up again. Police ended up getting called and I talked to a detective. He finally got charged last year when i was 20 and entered a plea deal where he got 3 or 4 felonies out of the initial 8 he was charged with. No jail time, I can't find him on a sex offender list. I wasn't the only one which is what made me start to stand up for myself.
It makes me so angry sometimes that he isn't on a list, or faced any real punishment. At the same time i resent myself for being so angry and wish I wasn't that i could be further along in healing. That these feelings don't randomly hit me, or i get triggered hearing his name, seeing the model of truck he had, someone behaving similarly, that my home area scares me to be in. It hurts everytime and i hate it. I hate the control he still has. It'll be 3 years in June. I know that healing takes time and it'll never go away, but I'm so tired of it

I have bad WiFi signal in work cause iam too far from router.

I literally can’t afford to move out right now. But I’m going nuts hereeee! My mom just yelled at me to go to bed, because I used the bathroom at 1am. Like I can’t control my bladder! She tries to control my sleep schedule, says I must go to bed by 12. I understand that I’m under her roof. But I need SOME sense of independence. Growing up, we lived in a bigger home where a bathroom was right next to my room, so this is a new issue for her. I wish she could somehow treat me like a renter (I help pay rent). Treat me like I’m renting a room and am not a daughter. There’s more than just the sleep schedule shit, obviously. It’s my every movement in my day to day life, I swear! I have no friends, no life. I’m controlled ugh. I worry about walking my dog in the afternoon because she’s yelled at me about how she was about to. I get yelled at for using the bathroom because she needs to suddenly get in. I’m told I’m weird for not having a boyfriend. Yet all my life she has told me that there’s something off with everyone I meet so it has made me afraid to open up to people unless it’s anonymous online like here. But she’d never admit that she has caused anything. She said so herself, that she can’t make me feel anything. I’m staying strong and working to find a better job. Maybe a second job. I need to move out by the end of summer. Ahhhhhh

I have 6 cats and 2 dogs. We live in a poor country in a rural area and we are middle class, so I can't afford the best food and treatment for them. I'm tired because they are both inside and outside cats, the dogs live outside in the yard. It's really hard to take care of them and to treat them because a veterinarian clinic is far and we don't have the possibilities to go there all the time. I'm always feeling guilty and mad that I can't afford everything for them, and even though I'm trying my best, I think that I'm a bad owner. All my pets are animals rescued from the streets, and I kept the ones I have now. We tried to find them new homes and no one wanted cats, but when we actually find adopters, I'm too attached to the cats so I don't give them. I'm so tired and fed up with myself and everything else, I'm messed up.

I got a LR3 for 4 months now and love this free-from-scooping life, but I have a small(?) issue.
My cat gets diarrhea from time to time ; . ; he has medicine for it but sometimes when he gets stressed (just me touching grass or going to school T . T) or ate a bit of dog food when I'm not looking, his stomach gets funky and in return, the LR gets a bit messy inside...so I end up washing the whole thing almost every week or 2 weeks.
Is that alright? Or will washing it that often make it deteriorate faster? Should I just wipe it down and wait for like a month before I deep clean it or something? Also may I ask how do you guys normally clean it? I'm worried that I'm a dumbass that's been doing it wrong. I hose it with water, bathe it with dishwashing soap and brush inside till it's all clean

I use an ASUS TUF A15 2021 R7 4800H RTX3050. Recently, I’ve been getting a problem where around 3 minutes after I close a game, my wife stops working. Like the Wi-Fi disappears and I check device manager, Wi-Fi card disappears, show hidden devices and there it is. It says code 45 device is disconnected. So every time after playing I have to restart device around 2 times before Wi-Fi works again. I’ve tried tweaking in device manager, troubleshooting, drivers, everything. Is this a Wi-Fi card issue I should get checked out? It’s never happened before but has started happening around 2-3 weeks ago. Any tips and fixes would be great. Thanks.
