Turning my deceased parents family home into a rental. Located South East burbs of Melbourne
Garage is 36m2 (double car) and has a double wide roller door.
The door is quite heavy and I would imagine hard for many people to actually operate, perhaps even safely. I plan to either replace it with an electrified one or get a motor put on the existing one. There isn't much room either end of the door to put a motor on it if I'm honest.
There are two wrinkles in this plan.
The first being that the plaster in the garage is fubar'd. Place was build in '99/00 and not maintained well. The garage ceiling is falling in, there is water damage along one edge (water was entering due to the build up of leaf detritus on the garage door) and all of the walls are banged up.
Second. The solar inverter is installed in the garage on one wall thats particularly bad. While its mounted securely, the plaster and paint right up to it and behind it is banged up. I would guess the inverter was installed on the plaster after the damage... Thanks mum.
If I search/find/hipages a garage door installer, are they going to want to deal with the re-plaster of a full garage, let alone deal with the inverter?
Or should I expect to hire two, or three, trades to do this and have to schedule them? In order, a garage door installer to remove the existing one, a solar electrician to remove the inverter, a plasterer to do their thing (I can paint it), then the solar elec to come back, then finally the garage door installer?

🚨Les aliments à ne pas consommer après la date de péremption 🚨

Certains produits, en particulier les produits frais d’origine animale, sont des aliments à consommer avec grande prudence car ils représentent un environnement idéal pour la prolifération de bactéries potentiellement dangereuses. Ils ne doivent surtout pas être mangés après leur DLC car ils présentent un risque très élevé d’intoxication alimentaire ou des problèmes de santé.
Les produits à ne surtout pas manger après la date de péremption :

A van crashed into our home at around 4.30am Tuesday morning, the driver was chasing someone on a bike who had stolen tools (a small handheld vacuum) out of his van. When he has spotted the person on the bike he has sped up in an attempt to hit the bike rider and went straight into our home. The back of the bike was clipped by the car and the rider was thrown off but they quickly got up and ran away. The van went through our front doohallway and was metres away from our bed, the noise obviously woke us up immediately and debris from the crash reached our bedside. By the time we had jumped up and saw what had happened, the driver had reversed out of our property (causing more structural damage and worsening potential collapse) and attempted to grab his detached bumper out of the wreckage, presumably to try and do a runner and hide his identity.
The street has just had 20mph signs freshly painted onto the road, but the force of the crash has split bricks all the way up the wall of the house and there are severe cracks right across the property from the force of the crash. The van went through both the external garden path wall, the front doohallway and there are cracks in the internal bedroom wall also so there is no way he was driving at 20mph. The force of the crash ripped the electric metre out of the floor, causing live wires to spark (there are black burn marks in the doorway) and the gas also cut out but luckily the gas pipe stayed intact or there would have been an explosion.
After days of police, fire brigades, council, structural engineers, gas board, electric board etc assessing the property, during which time we were out on the street as we weren't allowed into the property as it was deemed structurally unsafe, it has been decided that the property is not able to be lived in for at least a few months while work is carried out to make the property safe again and reconnect the electric/gas.
We currently rent this property, and have been meeting with our landlord to figure out how we are going to move forward. There was a meeting yesterday with the insurance company, where we were told that they could only cover another rented property for us at a like-for-like price. We have been living in this property for 4 years now, and our landlord has miraculously never upped our rent price, meaning that the amount we pay (£435 p/m) is completely unreflective of the current rental market, and any property we can find is around double the price per month. The insurance claims that we can either continue to pay our current landlord £435pm and they will house us in a hotel room which would have no kitchen and poor wifi (I work from home and need high speed internet for my job, and this would increase our food bills dramatically per month as we couldn't cook), or we can stop paying our landlord rent for the duration of this time (and the insurance will pay our landlord instead), and just pay the new rent at whichever property we organise which again leaves us dramatically worse off as not only will our rent double each month, but we will also have to pay for new deposits, estate agent fees, removal vans, potentially storage space, etc.
As this incident was not our fault in any way, it seems ridiculous to me that all of this botheextra cost is coming our way, and I'm confident that as the driver of the van was solely responsible, and driving recklessly, surely he is accountable for the upheaval of our lives and the subsequent costs that are mounting up?
My partner's lung collapsed 2 weeks ago and he is supposed to be recovering at home with no stress/exercise - as you can imagine this is not what has happened as he has been running around like a madman stressing about our life being turned upside down and I'm really worried how this is affecting his health, we really just need some advice/answers to give us peace of mind as it seems like everything is falling on our shoulders even though we are the victims in this situation. I am extremely grateful that no one was hurt as this could have been a very different story. Any advice would be much appreciated!! Thank you

When HBO Max soon rebrands to Max, it's likely the film will be dropped altogether since the focus will mainly be on Warner Bros. Discovery content. Fortunately, F9 has already found a new home on Peacock as of May 12. Fast X will likely be streaming first on Peacock after its time in theaters as well. I wish I was making this up I wish this wasn’t the reality of my situation but sadly for my new baby girl it is and it’s all my fault for giving her such an awful father. My beautiful baby girl was born yesterday at 3:30 pm. Where was her father you ask? Out of town when my self and his mother told him is was an awful idea to do so when I was due for my baby any day. He insisted he had to go to return a rental car that he got for his friend and to finish some work. I begged with him to not go but he didn’t care about my feelings and just said I’m not supporting him. My husband is a temping recovering addict. So when he said he was going back I didn’t really think much of it. When he went back he didn’t even care to call or text to ask how me and the baby were doing. I called him the next day because I was having contractions. When I called it was very obvious to me that he was using again. I expected him to book his flight back right then and there. Nope he didn’t return the car the day he ignored us. He stayed another day so he can do so as he didn’t want his name “ruined” with enterprise. But again still didn’t book a flight back. Wednesday comes along and I go back to the hospital as my contractions are getting worst and the pain medication they gave me wasn’t working. I went at 3 am. He was aware of this and again made zero effort to rush here. By 8-9 am I was told I was 7 cm dilated so I was due to give birth in a couple hours. He knew this as I texted him and again still no effort to come. Mind you it’s just an hour flight or 6 hour car drive back. So I did it all by my self. Dealt with the contractions alone, giving birth alone, meeting our daughter for the first time alone. When I called to let him know before I started pushing to update him and ask for updates from him he said and word for word “I honestly don’t care I know you manifested this out of spit” remember he said how if I didn’t let him leave I wouldn’t be supportive of him. But this was the support I was receiving from him. Anyways it’s 1:42 am and he still hasn’t showed up to meet her. When I called him again to see what’s going on his end I can tell he’s high as he’s slurring his speech and being extremely irrational and emotional. He’s cold he told me “don’t sound upset please I’m already upset I missed my daughters birth” like it wasn’t his own fault. Again no support. I didn’t tell my family as I didn’t wanna ruin this moment of welcoming my daughter to the family. But im sitting here feeling heart broken, numb and a awful mother for choosing this massive loser as her dad. I hate drugs I hate stupid adults who choose drugs over their loved ones. I miss my husband sober. He was so loving and caring and supportive. Just for him to turn around and become a complete stranger because he needs to pop pills to feel normal. So if your an addict I feel for you but remember how much it hurt your causing the ones who love and have your back. If I knew I was going to give birth alone I would have left 8 months ago. I really thought I could trust him to change and sadly when things seem to good to be true it usually is.

As the project is a Universal Studios production, that also means it won’t stream on Netflix following its theater run. That’s because Universal is owned by NBC, which has its own streaming service. Eventually, around 45 days after it being on the big screens, the sequel should begin streaming on Peacock. That puts us at around mid-July. However, with the expected popularity of the movie, the studio may choose to keep it in cinemas longer.

Fast X will not be available to stream on Netflix. This is due to the deals that Universal has in place with both Peacock and Prime Video.

Will Fast X Be On HBO Max?
No, Fast X will not be on HBO Max since it’s not a Universal Pictures movie. Last year, the company released its films in theaters and on the streamer on the same day. However, they now allow a 45-day window between the theatrical release and the streaming release.

Currently, the only Fast and Furious film on HBO Max is the newest one: F9 (2021). When HBO Max soon rebrands to Max, it's likely the film will be dropped altogether since the focus will mainly be on Warner Bros. Discovery content. Fortunately, F9 has already found a new home on Peacock as of May 12. Fast X will likely be streaming first on Peacock after its time in theaters as well. Universal currently has a deal with the streaming platform to bring their movies to Peacock following their time in theaters.

Fast X seemingly falls into Universal’s exclusive streaming deal with Peacock, which stipulates that Universal’s new movies will begin streaming on Peacock within four months of their theatrical release dates (via NBCUniversal).

While a Peacock release date for Fast X has not yet been announced, we can make an estimate based on another recent film distributed by Universal Pictures. Cocaine Bear was released in theaters on Feb. 24 before joining the streaming platform on April 14 — a little over 45 days after its debut. If Fast X follows the same trajectory, it should come to Peacock by early July 2023.

However, other movies like Nope have taken a little longer to reach the streamer (more than 100 days, to be exact) so it’s best to take this estimate with a grain of salt.

Is Fast X on Prime Video?
No, Fast X isn’t on Prime Video for streaming or rental just yet. We’ll keep you posted when we know more about the streaming home for the latest movie in the high-speed franchise.

Is Fast X Available On Hulu?
Viewers are saying that they want to view the new action thriller Fast X on Hulu. I've searched a few times to no avail to answer the question of, "how many pelts can my horse carry?" This being in reference to the medium-sized, stackable pelts (e.g., pronghorn, whitetail deer, wolf, or beaver). I first downloaded RDR2 2 to 2-½ years ago and I'm on another run. Making money, to me, can be a grind at first and one of the best ways is by simply selling pelts to a butcher or trapper (preferably).
I wondered how many pelts could my horse carry and on each run I took to Google which ultimately led me to Reddit. Multiple times someone has asked the same question and in grand fashion, Redditors prove useless time and time again in never answering the OP's damn question. A straightforward question by someone asking for help on how many pelts can be carried garnered results like, "I have 12", "I took 22 to the trapper", or "at least 50". Wrong, wrong, wrong.
A total disregard for the original question and an evolution into a discussion having absolutely nothing to do with OP's post is far too common on Reddit. I think the stereotype is true, and most are based on some truth, that Millennials really are the "distraction generation". Most here are Millennial, and you guys are awesome, but you need some Adderall smoothies or some shit. My old, 49-year Gen X ass is actually diagnosed with ADHD (and bipolar disorder as well as an anxiety and panic attack disorder) and though shiny things or the jingling of car keys can cause me to star off into the sky at times, my pill keeps me pretty centered, so y'all gotta focus. 🙃

For once, I think I can't blame Redditors for not answering yet another question and once again going off topic. I think I understand why the question of how many pelts can be stored on your horse hasn't been answered because it's a question that will take a chunk of your life from you to answer. I set out to do it; to answer the question (no, not THE answer to life, the universe, and everything...42).
I have just played, in three sessions, over the course of the last two days, for approximately 20 hours. I didn't dedicate 100% of that time to just hunting, but easily 18-18.5 hours was invested in hunting. I began near Larned Sod, headed north to O'Creagh's, west to Cotorra Springs, southwest past Cattail Pond to Wallace Station, through the valley following the Little Creek River, south past Owanjila into Strawberry, then followed the railroad tracks starting at Riggs over the water via trestle to Flatneck, and finishing through The Heartlands back to Larned Sod. I made this loop four times with a lot of deviations. I'm so done with this. I'm thinking there might not be a reasonable limit...
I CURRENTLY HAVE 101 PELTS, plus the one large elk pelt. I reached 85 and took my final break and decided I'd at least see this to 100 and go one over to see if that was possible. There is one thing I did learn and I doubt it matters how you play (I'm on PS4). There is a limit per slot in horse cargo if you save. I had 85 pelts, as I said, and that included 13 poor deer pelts and 12 good deer pelts. I saved, turned off my PS4, and when I fired her back up and loaded my save game, the 12 and 13 were both defaulted to 10 each. So, that happens. As far as how many total goes...who the hell knows? Way more than 101, that's for sure. Eventually, someone will fully answer this, but it's not going to be me. 18 hours just hunting? I'm good. I'm going to go get my couple hundred dollars for this extinction level carnage I just waged across the land.

I'm also living with my ex-abuser so that might be a trigger idk... Anyway, thanks for reading if you do read it. Life is hard. I'm so sick of living with my parents and grandma. Every day, I wake up so stressed out that I can't even stomach breakfast. Sometimes the thought that I have to run into my parents the moment I step out of my room makes it so difficult to even get out of bed. I just run from my room to my brother's room where I do my part-time WFH job, and I pretend I'm either working or studying all the time so they won't talk to me. I'm sick of having to constantly live in the same house as my abuser and to pretend to be productive to avoid interrogation.
Why is freedom so near yet so far? I've stayed alive for this long because of the hope that one day I can move out and live life on my own terms, but the closer I get to moving out, the more impossible and unreachable it seems. I know it's stupid, but holding on sometimes feels so hopeless. With the way property and rental prices are soaring where I am, will I even be able to move out, ever? Sometimes it feels like the answer is a flat no.
And every day, the construction work downstairs and the renovation work upstairs drives me crazy. It has been a year. How the fxxk are you still on the fxxing drilling stage? Are you making fun of people who work from home? Oh, you thought the drilling was done, well fuck you :) Kindly, nobody wants these new streetlamps right outside our bedroom window to replace the completely functioning old ones. The government has too much fxxing money and is wasting it on making our lifes fxxing miserable.
I just wish I had unlimited money and didn't have to work so hard and so much just to afford the nice things that everyone else has. Sometimes I hear about other people's parents sponsoring their holidays, their car, their daily necessities, new clothes, transport costs, medical costs, phone bill... I know I'm lucky they're even paying for my university fees and not asking me for rent, but I can't help but be bitter about it sometimes. As a kid, I was already being thrown into the deep end of "self-reliance" and "independence". Now that I'm almost all grown up, it just feels like I have to depend on myself all the time, and it's so exhausting and so lonely. I'm sick of having to take care of myself on my own all the time.

So I make decent money and live in a HCOL State, not just area. Debt free and choose to not pay someone else’s mortgage, I am essentially saving for a house, the fast way.
Why would I shell out $1600+ for a box surrounded by people I don’t even like. Yes I can comfortably afford to pay $2000 a month for rent, but why? It is so dumb if you actually think about it.
My car Payment is under $500 and gets 40 mpg and it’s AWD and a full size suv. I have the option to run it all day long. No more having anxiety running the engine all day for A/C or all Night for the Heater. A hybrid cycles between electric and gas engine, less wear and tear.
Plus I work 6 12 hour days a WEEK, why tf would I need an apartment anyways lmao. If all I’m doing is essentially just sleeping there for 2 GRAND A MONTH!

Je viens de me faire quitter il y a peu, 5 mois d'amitié pour 3 mois de relation ( ma plus grande relation amoureuse ) et malgré que l'on se soit quittés en très bon termes elle ne souhaite pas poursuivre d'amitié avec moi pour ne pas me faire du mal et car elle n'a pas de temps pour ça ( elle ne voit certaines de ses amies qu'une fois tout les 6 mois à cause de ses études ).
C'était ma plus grande relation, je sortais de 7 ans de célibat et elle 4, j'ai 25 ans elle en a 20.
J'ai un gros problème avec mes critères de recherche pour me mettre en couple ou même être assez intéressé pour draguer.
J'ai remarqué que côté physique je suis très attiré par les femmes caucasiennes ( quasi exclusivement ), j'aimerai qu'elle n'ai pas la peau sur les os, plus d'1m60 , cultivée et indépendante , empathique , mignonne , qu'elle ai une expérience amoureuse faible comme la mienne voir légèrement plus ou moins grande sinon je ne serai pas à l'aise ( j'ai déjà tenté l'expérience et j'avais énormément perdu confiance en moi, relation de 1 mois ) , qu'elle soit simple , belle sans maquillage ( j'apporte une grande importance au naturel ), qu'elle ne fume pas, alcool ok mais occasionnellement, j'ai beau avoir 25 ans j'ai une tête de bébé de 19-20 ans et je reprends mes études donc j'aimerai qu'elle soit moins âgée que moi sinon on ne sera pas au même stade de vie...
Et si une grande partie de ces critères ne sont pas satisfait, je sais que je n'irais pas draguer la personne, de mon côté je me sais être attirant, je suis drôle et très sociable mais mon mode de vie fait que je rencontre très peu de femmes. Je suis dans des études informatiques, tout mes amis proches sont des mecs, je ne vais pas en boîte ni soirées car je n'aime pas ça.
La seule raison pour laquelle j'étais en couple est car mon ami m'a invité à la montagne avec sa famille et ses cousins, et je suis tombé sous le charme de sa cousine que j'ai finis par draguer, elle correspondait à chacun des critères plus haut d'ailleurs.
J'ai tenté les appli de rencontre et j'ai réussit à faire une randonnée avec une meuf de 24 ans, en lui disant que c'était purement amical dès le début et elle ne m'intéressait pas de toute façon mais j'ai beaucoup aimé c'était déjà ça. Et sinon depuis comme les 3/4 d'entre nous après 24h je n'ai plus de matchs sauf 1-2 par ci par la.
Donc voilà je suis à la recherche de conseils, j'aime que les rencontres se fassent de manière naturelle, surtout besoin de voir de nouvelles têtes féminines avant tout. Je sais aussi qu'il est facile de dire 'oui mais tes critères quand tu seras intéressé pour quelqu'un à l'avenir tu verras qu'ils peuvent presque tous être barrés' et c'est peut-être vrai, c'est juste une tendance que j'ai remarqué chez moi et je pense bien me connaître.
