 | I know it might sounds like a stupid question but I'm really curious. The other day I was cleaning the fans of my strix and after mounting the fans a thing got through my mind. A while ago I cleaned the fans of a l5p for a friend of mine and comparing them the fans-heatsink seal design on mine seems pretty bad, there are a lot of spaces to let air escape before getting through the fins. I just wanted to hear if anyone had experience with adding that kind of cloth tape seal (like the side exausts in the pic), if it actually does something to the airflow or if it is just a waste of expensive tape.
