Reinsuring my car for the second time myself in my own name. I was thinking I would be a no claim discount this year as I’ve had no claims for a year. Although the letter they’ve provided me offering the renewal with them (I’ll still compare the market of course) offers no no claim discount.
They put the date of when my insurance started and technically it is yet to lapse a year it’s literally days away.
So do you not technically get a no claims discount until your third round of insurance, at the point where nearly two years has lapsed without claims? Or should I just fill it in as I have it as on the policy commencement date I will have exactly a year.

Before neutering he was using the litter box regularly, he would never pee on the bed except for one time where he was left alone in the room and pooped sometimes but I could safely wake up to a poop-free bed, I would see him jump off the bed and go to the little box. Now after neutering almost every night he poops and pees on the bed. I can’t discipline him right away cause I don’t know how long had it been but I know he knows he did something wrong cause when I wake up to clean it at 3 am he runs near the litter box and seems nervous. When I’m awake I always shoo him from the spot when I see him digging on it but I can’t do that when I’m asleep and I don’t wanna leave him in the pen cause I put him there while I work in the morning and that would equal to a lot of hours locked up, before neutering he would get his exercise while I slept and then chill in the corner of my bed until I woke up, then turn around and greet me, now I wake up sleeping next to a pile of poop. Is this behavior gonna stop or do I have to start putting him on his pen before I go to bed? I neutered him cause he was circling and honking a lot, that got fixed and I thought that would also make the litter habits better but they got way worse.

2023.06.01 18:06 49_Planets Couple things I’ve noticed playing on Quest 2
I know the devs spend a little time on the sub, these are all things I’m sure other people have talked about, but I just wanted to share some of the quirks I’ve experienced, not harshing on the game at all. I think the most frequently frustrating is the stock glitch, where when trying to use the iron sights, it seems like your gun will collide with your body and drift to the left. This one might just be me, but I’ve only experienced it in this game, which is the floor level of my guardian randomly shifting down so I can’t pick up little things on the floor. Possibly related is the height calibration prompt coming up randomly when on stairs or inclines. It seems also that when coming back to bunker, NRS in my bag will drop on the floor randomly. In the bunker as well, it seems that random items will just stop my sell machine from working, the main one i noticed is ammo. After putting ammo in anything else I put in is just lost. The last thing, and this one I swear I wasn’t tripping on anything, but I was killed by an invisible fenix. It was most definitely a makarov, but all I could see were floating gunshots on silo in the parking garage, by the floodlight near elevator shaft. Not sure how the hell it happened but I swear it did. I absolutely love this game and can’t wait to see it improve and become more polished over time.

I am in my mid-50s and was diagnosed 7 years ago. My extended family moved me from NYC to a rural region. I was having tumultuous meltdowns and they thought a more quiet environment would help , but it has made my life more isolated and fearful.I am unable to process the unpredictable nature of the lay of the land as it relates to human-induced change. I have also accepted that I am unable to drive safely. I wake up begging god for someone to constantly reassure me that everything is stable and Okay. I am unable to venture into my preferred activities because my anxiety prevents me from being able to formulate a plan and routine. I am beholden to a routine of soothing Special Interests and unable to organize my time to be productive in my constructive Special Interests.
I am only able to manage my home hygiene and my own on a sub-par level. Much of my day is spent in paralysis as I am unable to build momentum and courage to transition to a new activity. I am exhausted and nervous to constantly need encouragement and help organizing my time. I only need to accomplish one or two tasks a day to feel more positive and confident.
How have other adult autistics learned to transition from one activity to the next without suggestions and support from others? My family is weary of my constant need of their assistance for the same repetitive daily encouragement. Hello all,
I'm someone who has had hundreds of visions in my life regarding the future, but in recent years they've slowed down massively. I did however have a fairly intense one this morning. Generally I look for patterns in lucid dreamers, especially when I myself have had a dream that felt truly precognitive. The vision of sorts I had this morning was hyper realistic beyond the normal dream time. It included bodily sensations I simply have no prior knowledge of.
Mainly I'm sharing this to see if anyone else had seen anything similar in recent days or months.
It happened like this:
I was in traffic at a stop light in a busy downtown area when suddenly people started looting and acting crazy all over the streets dangerously, as if some external circumstance was causing people to act impulsively and out of control... Suddenly there was an enormous explosion, and I mean really really big. I looked in my rear view mirror and saw it. The size of the explosion was unthinkable.. I knew it was going to expand and engulf the car... It took about 15 seconds for it to get to the car - the heat began melting and contouring the car as everything went black. I then experienced what it feels like to be subjected to a hot super heated explosion - the car was shaking violently from the heat and within 15-20 seconds it sucked inwards from the heat, crushing myself and whoever else was in the car.. The heat was insane - I forced myself to leap out of my body so I wouldn't have to feel the worst of the pain from the heat of the explosion - it worked to my complete shock.. As I moved outside of the car in one sweeping movement, I looked back inside the car only to see all my clothes had been burned off and my body twisted up and crushed - My physical body may have still been alive but I chose to leave my body to avoid the pain - I moved all over the streets (floating) waving to people but no one could see me - I was truly spirit without body at this point. The whole thing was so real it's difficult to see it as "just a dream".. The sensation of being exposed to a super hot explosion and the subtleties of what that feels like are bodily sensations I have no knowledge of. Part of me thinks I was just being allowed to see it from another vantage point, not that I will actually be there when and if it happens. It was definitely an American city or town. I currently live in a rural area no where near a bustling city center like this. Often my visions show me the vantage points of somewhere else.

Our weekends have been a mess with summer schedules. I’ve had BD more than normal, and we’ve had SKs less than normal, and we haven’t had them all together at all in almost 2 months. Which has meant, for me, CONSTANT KIDS. I say for me, because if you’ve read any of my previous posts, you’ll know DH isn’t exactly helpful with BD and OD and doesn’t really participate in anything when his kids aren’t there. Which is basically all the time anyways, but especially lately. BECAUSEEE DH is working nights now. So I go to work, I come home, I clean, I do extracurriculars, I do dinner, I do baths, I do bed, all week. It truthfully isn’t much different than it was before except I had an extra set of hands in the event I needed it. He wasn’t as proactive as I’d have liked but I could at least ask him to help if I needed it. Now I have none of that.
My two (10 and 3, how can they even have anything to fight over?!) have been fighting like CRAZY lately. I think they both have cabin fever already and now that DH isn’t home at night, it feels like they’re both constantly fighting for my attention, and it honestly just really really sucks, it makes me not even want to come home from work. I want to crawl out of my skin and throw it to them and let them fight over it.
I’m feeling so insanely overwhelmed with kids lately and I’m just dreading this entire summer. When we only have DHs kids, I try to get out of the house by myself some, but the arguments that it creates make it damn near not even worth it. How dare I not want to be around his kids? But when the tables are turned and it’s just my kids (one of which IS his), he’s not involved. It’s the double standard for me! It’s not even that I don’t want to be around them. But after a month plus of working full time and being basically a single mom, I don’t want to be around ANY KIDS.
Am I awful?? I get people do this all the time. I know my problems are minuscule compared to others. I guess I just needed to get all of this off my chest before I exploded.

 | Hi all, wondering if I can get a hand with the standard printer ebb and flow. Right now I'm ebbing hard 🤣 Long story short, I have installed a .6mm nozzle on my cr10 (v3 I think) and try as I might I still have battles with under extrusion and getting walls to bond. Have had to up my flow rate to 200% to not under extrude-and have newly installed a Bowden tube, checked my extruder more times than I care to remember. E steps calculated I needed to be 173% but still no joy so I upped it. Going as far as .2mm layer height at 220 degrees c, anycubic black filament. I'm at the point where it's souring my mood having the printer in this state of operation near me and cannot leave it down for want of making it work again- stock settings were great and I had some great quality prints 2 years ago -i print helmets and props mostly so wanted to expedite this and make models faster and stronger. I had been smoking and wasnt thinking straight so i got on whisper and met someone who wanted to talk on snap. When we got theyre they immediately got very sexual and had me send them a few pictures of my own to coincide with theirs.
Soon though they had my pics, my facebook and my fiance all lined up. I know I shouldnt have been messing around and I have no excuse for that.
They sent and unsent the pics to a few people to try to get me to move quicker and give them money. But by doing that i was able to check my fiances phone to see that they were trying to pull a fast one on me.
So I calmed down. Reported, Blocked and Ghosted them. Then I deactivated my account. I found their facebook and reported and blocked them from my fiances phone.
I came clean to her too about what had happened and she forgave me as I was high at the time. And were going to work through it together. Not to mention shes the only one whod care if they saw it.
Its been about 2 and a half days and nothing else has come of it but i have learned two valuable lessons
1.dont go behind your fiances back, even when your high 2. When faced with a situation like this, deep breaths and honesty are the best way to bring a sense of calm back.

A few months ago I had my car detailed and ceramic coated. As I understand it from the detailer, after machine polishing he used a hard carnauba wax (ValetPro Beading Marvellous) followed by the ceramic coating (ValetPro 24Plus ceramic coating). It looks good, beads well and I've no complaints.
Now, I'm taking my car 400 miles away to my wedding and want to get it detailed when there - just a wash and decontamination - so it looks shiny for the photos. Also, a fox climbed on the car not long after it was done and wanted to see if that could get sorted. Found a well reviewed detailer near the venue who is happy to take it on.
However, when we were discussing what could be done with the scratch he was shocked it was waxed before ceramic coated - this was his message:
"coating wouldn’t key properly if that’s the case, needs a prepped, clean surface to work, applying on top of anything is useless"
Who is right? I know nothing, but struggle to see how the second guy can be right given it looks good ...
Also, for sorting the scratch - can you remove coating locally, polish out scratch, reapply coating locally only? Or need to do whole panel?

Hi all,
I have been accepted onto a PGCE course with a Geography specialism, I just wanted to see if anyone can give me some hints as to what to expect or some tips that won't have already been told to me by the course leaders. Or even some insight on how to best prepare so I can go into it with my best foot forward and hopefully put myself in good stead for a job after.
For context I'm a nearly 30 year old career changer coming from a business background so I'm expecting a very different experience compared to my previous years in employment!

I’m the lead teacher at a preschool. We have 2 classrooms, each with 3 teachers and an aide.
A couple things to note is that in our state, each teacher can not have more than 12 kids and our aides can have 3 but we try to keep a 1 teacher to 6 kids ratio. We used to have great management but the old woman that ran the preschool had to retire suddenly and passed it down to her daughter, who has never worked with kids a day in her life. Wednesdays are also our busiest days with both classrooms being completely full. This week we also have 1 teacher sick and an aide on vacation so we’re down to 2 teachers and an aide in one class and 3 teachers in another. Each class has 24 kids at its peak (Wednesday mornings). Still legal but more difficult. Last thing, the aide in my class is my daughter (18)
When our boss texted the schedule for this week, she gave everyone except me and the other lead teacher a break from 11-1. We did not know until Wednesday mornings, everyone was asking about each others breaks and we found out nearly everyone was told to go from 11-1. I texted my boss and asked what were supposed to do because the other teacher and I can’t handle 24 kids each on our own for 2 hours and she told me to figure it out so I told everyone that I will have to move lunch breaks around and not everyone will be able to take the breaks they were promised.
I moved breaks around and shortened most. We weren’t in ratio most of the time but it was still doable the only break that I didn’t change is my daughter’s. Her being here wouldn’t have put us in ratio and I changed the schedule for the day to make it a lot easier for the teachers there. I figured keeping one lunch the way it was is better than none. The problem is a couple coworkers are upset that I only saved my daughter’s lunch and shortened/moved all of theirs. They’re accusing me of giving her special treatment because she’s my kid but she was just the person that I needed the least at the time and her being there still wouldn’t have put us at ratio.
They’re still upset about it so I wanted to know if I was the asshole.

My friends and I are very amateur players playing for fun. We have had big argument today about them playing billiards wrong. One of our biggest argument was that they were saying that you can move cue ball if it is near the wall (that means less than diameter of back side of your cue). They say that if it is near or directly with contact of the wall, you can put back side of your cue on the table and move the ball so it is not near the wall. For me it is obviously stupid rule but I can't find it in any rule book so I need proof that it is not real rule.
