2023.06.04 04:59 ShoeGod420 How to Get Rustoleum Flat Black Enamel to Dry Faster?
I painted some aluminum shims for my bike stem about 3hrs ago. i used 3 light coats each applied after a half hour. I've used this specific spray paint before, and it seems to take forever for it to dry. I need to install these painted shims tomorrow morning on my bike so i can ride my bike. I have heard that you can place the painted item in the oven at a certain temperature for a certain amount of time and that will accelerate the drying time, but I'm not sure what temp or how long to leave it in, or even if it's a good idea. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also I don't own a heat gun or a hair dryer. Oh and the color is flat black which usually dries pretty quick with any other spray paint brand I've used but for some reason this rustoleum flat black does not dry very quickly.

Will leave some details out here, tryna move on asap but i still wanna talk abt it So theres this person in my school who i more or less look up to, they are a bit younger than me, a grade above me, more open than me, more confident in their abilities than me, better at socializing and generally do everything i wish i would do (going to cosplay conventions, getting hired for art etc), i don’t know to what extend our struggles are akin, i know they have adhd but apart from that no idea, and we occasionally talk. Last week i was sitting in the library and they came up to sit next to me for some company and cuz they needed a place to do their work, which i ofc wasnt opposed to. I was drawing something and we talked and got to the topic of art, they talked abt the industry standart and some other art stuff but mainly what stuck with me the most was them calling me a bad artist because i dont/rarely use references for poses. It didnt occur to me right away but that really hurt, But i am relatively rarely affected by other peoples words. We talked a bit more until they had to leave. The whole convo, including that part, stuck with me throughout these past 2 weeks to the point where i fell back into a rabbit hole of youtube turorials on random art stuff, which i havent watched in ages as i am generally pretty pleased with how my creations look. And then that added onto the stress, seeing how good all of these people were and how consistent their art was and how pretty the colors were is something i could “never” achieve. I realized that in the middle of an artwork and shut off my tablet, took my pillow and some paper and shut myself off into the bathroom to tear up the paper and scream into the pillow. I dont know my stance on this person anymore, they arent aware of the effect their comment had on me. Their accomplishments are still pretty admirable but i dont know if i ever want to speak to them again, i partially also sorta did because everyone in my friendgroup kinda dislikes them, and i didn’t want to add to that. This was a much needed reminder for me that its okay to struggle, its okay to be happy with your accomplishments even if they arent ‘perfect’. Dont compare yourself to others.

Hey my name is Russ, I’m a 24 year old male bass player in the Denver area searching for a drummer who wants to create a new original sound and perform it. Someone who is a creator, who doesn’t just want what’s in front of them, and truly strives to make great art. Someone who has a sense of the bigger picture, while still being a grounded person when it comes to things. I am pretty versatile, time-flexible, own all my equipment (including a car, my own gear, and some recording equipment) I’m all about pushing the envelope, and have no interest in our limitations!
We’re looking for an open minded all encompassing band that wants to jam, improvise, experiment, and hone our sound with the songs and ideas we create! A band that can deliver loud/thrashing/heavy bangers with thundering guitar riffs, all while still being able to showcase slowemoodieemotional/acoustic material as well. We just need an all-around solid person, who also has a strong drive and enthusiasm to create and play music.
I’m currently working with a guitarist/vocalist on original material at the moment. We have a full set list of this original material, and have played a handful of shows to date. If I had to give you a basic idea of what we may sound like, I’d say our material at the moment sounds most similar to the band Turnstile. We’re really about having a good groove/rhythm to our songs, which is why we’re looking for someone who can really lock in with the drums and take this to the next level.
We’d like to form a band that draws from a variety of different elements. Yes the title of the listing says punk rock band, but we’re not trying to put ourselves entirely in a box like that. Like how bands like The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alice In Chains, queens of the Stone Age, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, and Soundgarden aren’t limited to just one particular tone/style/formula.
These bands listed have multiple sounds that convey a variety of emotions and ideas! Led Zeppelin isn’t just Immigrant Song, Black Dog, Heartbreaker, and Dazed and Confused. They also play No Quarter, Ten Years Gone, Over The Hills and Far Away, The Rain Song, and Kashmir

We’re looking for an open minded all encompassing band that wants to jam, improvise, experiment, and hone our sound with the songs and ideas we create! A band that can deliver loud/thrashing/heavy bangers with thundering guitar riffs, all while still being able to showcase slowemoodieemotional/acoustic material as well. We just need an all-around solid person, who also has a strong drive and enthusiasm to create and play music.

2023.06.04 04:56 Elephant-remembers 2nd day in Spanish Speaking country and Feeling very frustrated with language barrier
This is my first week into my digital nomad journey. (SA)
I feel very blessed to be able to do this, but the language barrier is tough(Spanish). I have been studying textbook and apps over 3 months ago, and every chance I get here.
Even then it’s still tough. No educational materials prepare you for real life.
I feel like I’ve upset or bothered people unintentionally and it doesn’t feel good.
Today I made a woman cry because I asked for something for my room, and she wasn’t at her desk immediately when I showed up.
It wasn’t even 30 seconds before her boss ran up to desk to assist me. (He lives in a house across from the hotel)
He was under the impression that I was not satisfied no one was there immediately, but no matter how many times I said everything is good and I’ve not been here long, he was not understanding me. He was still very angry at his front desk employee.
Seen her 30 minutes later and she was sobbing. Now someone I barely know thinks I’m some needy douche bag that’s gets them in trouble.
The feeling of missing deep conversation or getting your point across is frustrating, and I will say I truly feel what foreigners feel coming to the US.
I’m lying here in my hotel in tears and any words of encouragement or support would really help. I don’t have any family back home and it’s hard to talk to anyone that’s willing to understand. I feel like a terrible person

In comes (Character B), a crazed fan, a manager, or someone who she doesn’t know about, used to be a childhood friend — How does their relationship develop/devolve?
- Chang’e (A) and Houyi (B) reunited?
- A modern pygmalion? A struggling artist (A) suddenly has to explain to her landlord why one of her art pieces (B) has suddenly come to life!
- A lonely god (B) takes interest in a human (A) — This could be for whatever reason, maybe he finds her life interesting, or maybe she has motives that are against his, we could def plot this out!
- A human (A) is suddenly turned priestess due to accidentally breaking a God’s (B) shrine, and now needs to pay off her debts.
- A sacrifice (A) is expected to die when sacrificed to a God (B), except he is just incredibly confused about what a human is doing in his domain.
- A prince (character B) finds themselves falling for a princess (character A) who lives in the kingdom next over, but happens to be engaged to another. The prince stops at nothing to get rid of his love’s partner, and does anything to woo the princess.
- A girl (character A) finds herself in the same situation every life she lives. Every time she is resurrected, she finds herself getting chased by some person (character b) she doesn’t love.

Hey my name is Russ, I’m a 24 year old male bass player in the Denver area searching for a drummer who wants to create a new original sound and perform it. Someone who is a creator, who doesn’t just want what’s in front of them, and truly strives to make great art. Someone who has a sense of the bigger picture, while still being a grounded person when it comes to things. I am pretty versatile, time-flexible, own all my equipment (including a car, my own gear, and some recording equipment) I’m all about pushing the envelope, and have no interest in our limitations!
We’re looking for an open minded all encompassing band that wants to jam, improvise, experiment, and hone our sound with the songs and ideas we create! A band that can deliver loud/thrashing/heavy bangers with thundering guitar riffs, all while still being able to showcase slowemoodieemotional/acoustic material as well. We just need an all-around solid person, who also has a strong drive and enthusiasm to create and play music.
I’m currently working with a guitarist/vocalist on original material at the moment. We have a full set list of this original material, and have played a handful of shows to date. If I had to give you a basic idea of what we may sound like, I’d say our material at the moment sounds most similar to the band Turnstile. We’re really about having a good groove/rhythm to our songs, which is why we’re looking for someone who can really lock in with the drums and take this to the next level.
We’d like to form a band that draws from a variety of different elements. Yes the title of the listing says punk rock band, but we’re not trying to put ourselves entirely in a box like that. Like how bands like The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alice In Chains, queens of the Stone Age, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, and Soundgarden aren’t limited to just one particular tone/style/formula.
These bands listed have multiple sounds that convey a variety of emotions and ideas! Led Zeppelin isn’t just Immigrant Song, Black Dog, Heartbreaker, and Dazed and Confused. They also play No Quarter, Ten Years Gone, Over The Hills and Far Away, The Rain Song, and Kashmir

I just came on here to share some nuggets of wisdom about bras in general, if one of you find you learned something new then my job is done:)
To start with, I work in a high end lingerie store where we shape TO your body, not the other way around. Lingerie has the absolute power to transform how you feel on the daily as it’s the one thing that no uniform and no individual could control. Only YOU know what’s underneath (unless not, in that case im happy for you) and that’s special! I like to teach clients how they could wear special “fancy” pieces that they previously thought only existed for those special occasions on the daily. Quality of each piece matters, and personally find that European quality is just so much more than north American offers (cries in Canada). Once you figure out your size, you could mix around lingerie in your everyday wardrobe as statement pieces, sneaky peekaboos that could look so sophisticated when done right (ex: having a fancy lacy strap peaking through a blouse, having the top of the lacy cup peeking through in a cami, etc).
On top of this: I’ve met so many people who were mistreated at lingerie stores previously. You should not ever feel pushed into buying anything. You should not be ridiculed, shamed and ignored. Only YOU know what’s comfortable for you at the end of the day: and that’s okay. If you come to me and I fit you and you say you don’t like the true band size fit, and prefer loose because of ___, I will just warn you that you will not get as much support as you COULD, but will encourage you to stick with what you already know. If you’re sensitive to lace *good quality lace girl, not the la senza grit 4000 shred your lats by midnight. I will never show you lacey stuff. If you prefer to go in alone with no associate in the store to help you, I have tips on the bottom:)
Also a disclaimer: bra fitting is a freaking science to say the least, and that’s exactly why people like me exist! Since starting work I haven’t seen two pairs of breasts that are alike. Everyone is unique, everyone has at least a little difference in volume from left to right, and everyone has different preferences for bras.
I work hard everyday to break the stereotype of coming home and taking off that itchy piece of torture we wear daily for 8+ hours in our lives. I see so many girls come in saying they’re a 36C and they want a bra that FITS but surprise surprise they come out a 32G…
It could also be a very intimate and powerful piece of beautiful art that we wear for ourselves. Everyone deserves to be comfortable and feel beautiful in something like a bra.
Now onto the fun stuff, I’m gonna walk you through how to size yourself as best as you can :
Once you calculated your bra size with the calculator (which is correct for so many people (if measured according to instructions), however, some may feel more comfortable in sister sizing(see below))
To start with, there are two “main” types of bras: lined and unlined (padded/unpadded). I will not use any sort of “push up” or bra that has extra padding to give the girls any sort of “oomph”. When working, I prefer to size customers with unlined as that is when I can visually see if the sizing works because the padding hides any extra space that you’re not filling in that specific size. So to start with, i’m gonna have you grab any style unlined bra in the store to try on, along with two sister sizes in the same colour and style:
Now onto finding a GOOD quality bra that could outlast you:
also a very important one: Is it flattering? There are different types of styles of bras : demi cup, full cup, plunge, etc etc
I want you to try on at least a few before deciding what you don’t like. So many people don’t imagine wearing something when on display but change their minds when it’s on them.
Good quality bras that could last DECADES are in the 90-200 range. La senza and VS are following the big price ranges slowly but their quality is nowhere as good as something that Simone Pirele or Huit offers.
Fun fact: Red and any colour with red hues closer to your skin tone (read: beige lighter than your skin tone DOESNT work) will cover better under white tshirts than white.
If your bra is truly your size you should not feel it at the end of the workday.
Now random tips:
For bigger sizing stick to thicker straps. You need the support and the thin straps will dig in and make you die inside.
Demi cups are supper flattering on smaller sizes
Look at the stitching and quality of the material of the bra, learn to judge it: actual band material, if it feels high quality, if the lace is soft, etc etc. The felt on the back of the wire doesn’t count as “quality”. It should be soft but it’s never perfect, there’s some string strangers, etc.

I will be using european sizing from here on out, so a DDD is just an F (D, DD=E, etc)Fun fact: 2 bras of the same style but different colours usually fit DIFFERENT. I know all of the product that we offer, so I know which collections and which things fit and how they fit and who they work well with. You do not need this, just remember that every bra fits different even in the same size. The difference between the sizing is super minimal, but for comfort purposes you have to try on a lot. Just because a red bra made of super tight thick material doesn’t let you breathe in a 32H doesn’t mean that a lacy soft bra will as well.
- Go up a band size and down a cup size. (For example: if your “true” size is a 32C, I want you to grab 34B as well)
- Go down a band size and up a cup size.(Again, if your “true” size is 32C I want you to grab 30D)
- Physical : Put on your “true” size first. Hook it on the loosest hook and pull the band below your back muscles. Now adjust the straps so that the band sits comfortably snug under the muscles, with around 3 fingers put horizontally under the hook on your back. It should stretch about 3-4 cm, and then “scoop” under your girls, sit them comfortably on top of the wire. Then grab the strap on top of the cup and pull it upwards towards your back and tighten until you have up to 2 fingers worth of space between the straps and your shoulder when you pull on it. Move around, if the wire is stabbing you when you’re flapping like a dying bird, not your fit.
the bra wire should sit comfortably under your girl hugging the shape. The end of the wire is supposed to be angles towards your armpit, not stabbing the girls.
- Visual : Now stand with relaxed shoulders and assess the size -> Is your boob inside the cup? There should be no “muffin top”. I’m trying to describe this as best as i can but i’m crying at this description i’m sorry😂* Now with a relaxed straight back (don’t hunch shoulders), lean over. If there’s a big gap it’s not your size girl move on.

Howdy partners, my girlfriend and I bought a house a few months ago and have been in the process of getting it fixed up/painted/etc. The house was built in 1938, and we recently had the floors refinished in two rooms. In the master bedroom there was a a large square on the floor presumably where a rug sat.
When my girlfriend went to the house to meet with the floor guy, he told her that the floors had been refinished AROUND the rug in the past and it would be difficult to get it to match. After she had agreed to let it be like that he said that he probably could match the floor color in the square but it would be a lot of extra sanding.
After we saw the result, I talked to the owner of the company and he said that the oils from the rug seeped into the wood and could NOT be sanded out no matter how deep they went. Are either of their stories true or did we just get ripped off by a lazy company?

 | This is the first of many tarot designs to come. I want to explain some of the larger nuisance in this piece that not everyone will immediately catch: Firstly, the baby and death figure are inspired by Janis Rosentalz 1897 “Death.” At least once a year, but lately more often, I will sit for an extended period of time and take in the soul of their painting. The insurmountable presence of Death in the scene, the purity of the white cloth (which I opted out of to assert positivity to the color and because black is the general mourning color of Canada,) the vulnerability and peace of a nature scene on familiar path but consumed by shadow, the rock and jug to me symbolizing the mother finding a way to find ‘use’ for the heavy as a boulder grief she’d be carrying from the loss of her child as I see water as an element of emotion and intuition, the sparkle of the sickle’s tip in her hand threatening in presence but not in posture, the way the mother and baby are positioned as though one segment of Death’s path forward - the child is carried on, the expression of coming down from shock on the mother’s face and the presence of her hands, the tone of the skin - particularly how the mother’s hand holding desperately to her child is darker and cooler than the rest of her ever so subtly, and the respect in Death’s face and body, but the uncanniness of unchallenged divinity in her pure white eyes… all of it is just… beyond words for me, and I’m not even a mother. I find it especially fitting when Death is a woman in art, as most languages consider the word feminine, and I would find no energy more trustworthy to handle my pure vulnerable energy, never mind that of a loved child’s, than a woman or female comfortable with the natural cycle of life. Carry me into the anew like a sister mother, wash me in the lunar mother’s life to purify my form, let me become better than I am. Secondly, the story of Jesus walking on water in the Galilee sea is a retelling of the Orion myth, as described by Christian theologians. Seven centuries before Jesus supposedly walked upon the sea, Hellenic astronomer and poet, Hesiod, reported Orion as having been gifted the power to walk on the sea as though upon land. The gospels Matthew, Mark, and John were written by Hellenic anonymous Jews who had no personal testimony of Jesus or the apostles. They were probably exposed to an esoteric form of authentication - Hellenistic tenet of katasterismos, placing among the stars, popular in 1 century AD Palestine-Syria, and in which the 48 ancient constellations are considered sacred record of important events that have occurred on Earth. Makes sense on why they would attribute the same sacred energy of the Orion constellation to the soul Jesus hosted. So in my head, why would anyone not want to teach that? * I’m not religious but I enjoy studying them and I was raised Catholic/Christian so I have a soft spot for big J and each Mary lmfao I’m also a huge feminist, and an advocate of bringing back recognition of lunar and feminine energy in major religions, so when I think of someone having the power to walk upon water, I feel like it symbolizes that person having the emotional intelligence to commune with feminine and masculine energies, keep a balance of emotions, logic, and intuition, and commune with the natural world around them as a result. I think my opinion will be ever shifting on this topic. I had an incident tonight that sparked some ideas in me, and I want to capture them before they slip away or I lose the courage to express them. Please forgive any mistakes or rawness in my writing.
Ever since I started going out with Parker, I've been enjoying myself and connecting with so many people. It has made me feel "normal" again, with less focus on my disabilities and more focus on others. I believe this is my salvation and my best path towards living a purpose-driven life. That conviction hasn't changed.
Tonight, around 7pm, as I was crossing the street in front of the grill, I stumbled and fell and while I experience occasional falls at home, those are usually minor trips where I catch myself on the couch, or I fall onto a padded carpet. This fall was different. It was a series of stumbles, almost catching myself, but ending up face-first on the hard asphalt. If my spinal cord injury hadn't robbed me of the ability to feel pain on my right side, the physical pain would have matched the psychological pain it caused. And that's what I feel compelled to write about.
To me, falling encompasses more than just injuries, pain, or potential embarrassment. It's that moment mid-fall when you have no control, no physical capability to break your descent, and you're at the mercy of gravity and momentum. That feeling of powerlessness is the worst part, and for a while now, I had forgotten just how terrifying that can be.
However, that's only the first part of my story. As I rode home, emotions overwhelmed me—still are—and they led me to consider ideas that may never have connected otherwise. Earlier tonight, I had a sense of pleasure regarding a person who also experienced a fall today. I admit I found satisfaction in witnessing this "world leader" stumble and faceplant on a stage in front of everyone. I have come to blame him for many problems that have recently affected my finances, and there are other issues he’s responsible for that I won't discuss here. This isn’t about politics. But one thing I realize is that it's wrong to revel in or celebrate someone else's failures. Falling is falling, and perhaps, just maybe, it affected him as deeply as it affected me, even if he does possess money and power to alleviate that pain.
To summarize what I'm attempting to say is that one's health and mobility are precious gifts that can be taken away unexpectedly and within my story lies a lesson about how the wishes or intentions we have for others can easily come back to haunt us. A line from the movie "The Color Purple" keeps echoing in my mind: "The jail you planned for me is the one you gonna rot in." In other words, it's best to wish and hope only the best for other people.
I hope I remember this lesson.

Cassandra Walker, Xenoarchaeologist. Aboard the NTFS Pride of the Homeworld.
Cassandra was excited. She would be one of the first people to step foot onto their possible new homeworld. This was a big deal, especially since it turned out that someone had taken over their original homeworld. Not only that, but she might get an opportunity to tinker with some actual precursor technology, she’d only ever seen images and fragments of precursor technology. And if she was lucky, she might get the opportunity to partake in establishing first contact with an alien species, hopefully friendly aliens, nobody wanted a repeat of the ancestral disaster.
But she couldn’t focus on that, though it’s where her mind drifted to every time she thought of aliens, she had to focus on the mission.
“Focus on the mission” she said out loud, to no one in particular.
She began to read through the mission plan. The research team volunteers (and their military escort) would make their way to the center of the electromagnetic anomaly. They’d collect samples of flora and fauna on the way there. Once there, they’d search for the source of the anomaly, hopefully it’d be precursor technology… But what if it wasn’t? what if it was a trap left behind by the Aggressors? What if… what if… what if… too many possibilities.
“Focus on the mission.” She repeated, again to no one in particular, and continued to read the plan. They’d have to determine whether the anomaly was natural or artificial in nature, if it was artificial they’d have to find a way to make it stop, preferably without damaging whatever technology was causing it. That’s where she’d come in, as the team’s resident xenoarchaeologist her expertise was ancient precursor technology and, really everything about the precursors was her expertise… it’d be her duty to safely shut the technology down, assuming that it was from the civilization they’d already been studying, but what if it wasn’t? What if it fell to her to find a way to safely shut down technology they’d never interacted with, technology from a previously unknown precursor civilization? What if she damaged it somehow, or made the anomaly worse, made it dangerous?
Her mind was in turmoil, she was grappling with herself to get her focus back to the mission. “Focus on the mission.” She said once again, returning her eyes to the screen in front of her. She’d need to request a few things from command, some equipment mostly, and a hostile environment survival expert, though she doubted they’d be able to find one on such short notice. Her father had somehow gotten her command over the expedition, she didn’t feel up to it. Her mind once again wandered to the possibilities, to what they might encounter on the planet…
Her trance was ended by a loud noise, a call from her father, she’d needed to call him anyway.
“Good morning, Dad.” She said, putting on her best poker face.
“Morning, Cassie!” Her dad responded in his usual jovial tone. “Alright what’s wrong? I know that face, that’s the face you put on when something’s on your mind“ he started and was interrupted.
“-Dad, nothing’s wrong.” Cassie said, though it didn’t sound as genuine as she’d like it to sound.
Her father’s jovial grin faltered as he raised his eyebrow.
“Alright fine” Cassie started. “I don’t think I can lead this expedition and I’m worried I’ll mess everything up and I’m anxious about the possibilities.” She admitted.
“That’s alright Cassie, sometimes I doubt myself too” her dad admitted. “But don’t let it keep you down, use it, but don’t let it take over. Doubt can be a good thing, it can motivate you to double and triple-check your work, to ensure that you made no mistakes, that can save lives you know. But don’t let the doubt take over, too much doubt, like anything else, can be a bad thing. No matter how much you doubt yourself, know that we believe in you.” He finished.
“And as for the other things…” He started. “It’s alright to be anxious about this kind of thing, we’re in uncharted territory, so we have to be cautious, whatever happens, we’ll deal with it. If the old enemy shows up again, we can win this time, we’ve got better weapons and technology than ever before, don’t worry about what we don’t know, worry about what we do know.” He finished as something drew his attention offscreen.
“Ah, damn, looks like I’m needed elsewhere, we’ll have to cut this call short, good luck on the expedition, love you.” Her father said as he prepared to end the call.
“Wait!” Cassie said. “Dad, I’m sending over a list of some stuff I need for the expedition.” She stated, as the call was cut.
Her attention was drawn to the other members of the volunteer team, packing what equipment they might need for the expedition, she noticed that everyone was just as anxious as she was, it brought relief to see that she wasn’t the only one who was anxious about the expedition. She needed something to do to pass the time until the deployment and get her mind off of the anxiety she felt. She accessed the archives through her holo-pad and began to look through a section labeled ‘Sci-fi’, eventually she found herself reading the first installment of a series named after a fireworks device that rotates and emits colored sparks, and lost track of time.
Author's note: A bit early, and not as long as I'd like it to be, but I'm still getting the characters established and trying to figure out where I'm taking the plot. Anyways, I'm trying to establish character personality better, since apparently that's one of my issues, but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. As always, feedback and advice are appreciated. I'd especially appreciate advice on linking posts, seeing as how my links never seem to work, I've tried three different methods now, it's frustrating, let's see if it works this time.

2023.06.04 04:49 Sweaty-Ad8900 Day 3 (Part 2)
I just remembered this now but I left something out of day 2 that I forgot about. I found some weird white shrooms and didn’t know what they were. I thought it wouldn’t do any harm to eat them seeing as how nothing else other than me dwells within this small area. I decided the best way to eat the shrooms, would be to cook them into brownies. I read the instructions on the back of my brownie mix box and preheated the oven to 450 degrees and put the mix in. Once it was done, I cut the brownie pie into several dozen pieces and ate one. What happened next I can’t recall, but I was told that I called the police and did some stuff that would be better left unspoken. When I came to, I realized where I was and continued my journey. Back to the present, I decided to journey far into the east to reach unexplored territory in hopes that I find something new. But first, I needed food. So, while exploring around the outside of the tower, I found a new section that I can’t really do anything with. It is just an indent in the outside of the tower, but too high to jump off as I will die due to fall damage. There, I found a new plant. The only problem was that it looked a little suspicious. It was colored red, dangling from the ceiling, and had around three bulbs in it. I explored the next area after that, which was a dead end, and decided to travel back through to look a little more. After I saw that plant tilt toward my general direction, I moped out of there so hard, you wouldn’t be able to catch up to my speed even if you hired professional tag players. I had already learned my lesson from day 2, do not mess around with weird plants that can move on their own. After that little horror stunt, I decided to continue my exploration again. I died around two times I think by some lizards and finally managed to reach the end of the explored territory. All I had to do was enter into the entrance on the right wall by climbing up a narrow hole in the ground to reach it. All of a sudden, the scene became chaotic. There was what seemed to be a bright orange or yellow scavenger blocking the entrance and a green lizard underground in an area where one can climb through a bunch of narrow holes to get anywhere onscreen. I waited until the lizard was distracted and went into a narrow hole and climbed my way through into a section where the lizard didn’t notice me. After the lizard passed back through, I was able to quickly run past it into a narrow hole. I found out from personal experience that, while they can climb up a narrow hole, they are really slow and tend to fall all the way back down often. Once I was starting to make my way up the hole, a massive bird appeared and scared the weird scavenger into running away, only, it didn’t escape into the entrance to go to the next area. Instead it went down into the hole I was trying to climb out of. The hole I was in had only two directions; up and down. Up is where a scavenger is blocking the entrance and down is where a lizard is trying to eat me. I had no choice but to cuddle up against the scavenger in hopes that it would die to the bird and get dragged away or something. I knew it was risky, but the only other option would be me getting within charging distance of the green lizard. This was an extremely stressful situation that was, unfortunately, cut short because the bird somehow managed to kill Borge me and the scavenger in one attack. I assume it breathed that miasma at us, the same miasma I see it breathe every time it first comes into view. That is where I left the game at for now. I plan on making a day 4 tomorrow, stay tuned!

We recently bought our teen (16) son a used Corolla for his first car. He’s getting his license in a few weeks and will start his senior year of HS in the fall. It’s in really good shape for an older car but we would like to get it wrapped for his birthday so that it looks nice.
To be honest I don’t know anything about wraps, so I’ve been trying to educate myself. I’d love to get some help from people who are more knowledgeable on them, and have actual experience with wraps.

- Is there any reason to go with a gloss finish vs. matte finish, etc for practicality or longevity reasons (or any other reason)?
- Are there any brands that we should avoid?
- How long can we expect this to last if taken care of? Ideally I’d like for it to last him through his senior year and college, until he can get himself something nicer if possible.
- What colors do you think would be a good choice for a little Corolla?
