I have a big problem and that is being too nice and friendly to everyone. This way i maganed to get in my room quite a few members who have money, but they dont tip me, they tip others. They stay in my room every time I stream, for most of the stream even. Yet only 1 member tips who is of course annoyed with how everyone else just compliments me, but dont do shit besides that.
Next week i am saying goodbye to the sites i am on and start fresh on SC and I dont wanna repeat my mistake of talking with anyone and connectiong with them without them tipping in the 1st place. Any advice on this matter? Any ways you stop yourself from being too nice with peoplw who dont deserve it?

Today my family adopted a pair of kittens! Stormy and Rainy. They're sisters and one of them has CH (Stormy). Our house has three levels. The two kittens are going to be living with me upstairs. Our older cat (Sunny) and the dog live on the middle floor with my parents, and my grouchy brother who only begrudgingly tolerates animals lives in the basement, so it's the safest place for them to be and have their "own designated space." However, it's one of those open floor plan type upstairs. Which means there is no door for me to close at the top of the stairs to keep the kittens from going down. We have a baby gate that we used to use to keep the dog corralled, but cats can jump much higher than dogs.
How do you keep your CH kitties safe with stairs? My main fear is Stormy jumping over the gate and hurting herself going down the stairs. The lady who was fostering them said she's really adventurous. Her apartment only had one level and so, as far as I know, the kittens have never encountered stairs before. I have no idea how she'll do on them.
Have any of you ever had a similar problem and solved it? How do you keep your CH kitties safe? Also, any general tips on CH kitten-proofing a house would be greatly appreciated. I've never had a cat with CH before, but these sisters are so sweet and I'm very excited! We won't get them until the 15th (the shelter has a huge backlog on spay/neuter surgery so it can't be any sooner) so I have plenty of time to implement any advice you can give me. Some relevant notes: 1. He’s on Royal Canine and has been for two years. It’s the only brand he likes. 2. He’s 50% GSD, 50% other Shepard. 4 years old. 3. His stools are always soft. Two to three of the turds are human sized. The rest are small droppings. This has been consistent since he was 1. 4. He will poo, sniff out a new spot and then poo again. I call it poopsing. 15 minutes later he’ll do it again. 5. He will hold it in until his walk, despite having access to a large backyard. 6. No other dog at the dog park poops as much as him, and it has us all wondering. 7. I’ve tried so many different food brands over the years and RC GSD is the only one he really likes. His poops were better with Taste of the Wild, but he was always gnawing his paws. 8. The only known food intolerance is oatmeal. 9. He’s had worms in the past, but I dont see any signs of parasites. His stole was tested negative in November 22 for another unrelated issue.

i’ve had very bad anxiety, ocd, and emetophobia since i was younger (9 years). i have been dissociating constantly for the last couple months, which has been a relatively new symptom. i’ve only had bad dissociation in the last year (other than when i had complete panic attacks when i was younger). i’ve been very scared and feeling like i’m stuck in dissociation and it’s been really scary. i just lost my grandmother yesterday, and today my dog is in the hospital. i know that’s probably stressing me out but i’ve been horribly dissociated the past few days. i was reading about psychosis and i have some of the symptoms like feeling like nothings real, paranoid and disconnected. it is really bad and i feel like i don’t know who i am. i’m just very scared that i’m going into psychosis. i feel like i’m in a dream but it keeps like switching and i suddenly become aware that i’m here. it’s very hard to explain, it’s like i’m just suddenly terrified when i focus on it too much. i might be having a panic attack but i am so dissociated and scared right now. i have been avoiding grieving today because it’s all too much at once and putting it off for later, i haven’t cried at all. i don’t know if that has anything to do with it or not but i am terrified right now that i’m going crazy.

I always thought some of the more fascinated sequences in Outer Wilds was those having to do with quantum mechanics and rules, but I never really gave much thought as to its thematic inclusion. Today I actually thought about it and how well I think it actually fits with the theme of life.
People always talk about how meaningless your journey is in Outer Wilds. How you can never save your friends. The solar system will always die, and you're powerless to stop it. The only move is acceptance of the inevitable.
And yet, it isn't meaningless. As the player (and probably the Hatchling themselves, to a degree), we go on a physical and borderline psychological journey. We see amazing sights, and make memories that we hold onto, that shape us. And we aren't powerless. While we couldn't stop the universe's end, we were able to press the reset button. Rather than letting the heat death of the universe occur, we're (and this I know is up to interpretation) are able to initiate a Big Crunch to begin life anew via observing the Eye. In that moment, even for a split second before oblivion, we unconsciously are all-powerful.
I believe this also extends to what Outer Wilds says about life. The universe is uncaring and your life is an insignificant blip that is over in an instant. Yet the statistical fact that you, yourself, are even alive to begin with is a mathematical marvel. Whether you even realize it, you help shape your community and your friends with so many actions. Sometimes just your presence in somebody's life can send them careening down a path they never would have gone down before, for better or worse. And that's just your direct influence. As such, you are significant. The things you experience, the meaning you draw out of life, be it from money, philosophy, family, or religion, is significant.
Our lives and the meaning we draw from it, much like certain purple stones, are not set. They are in constant flux. It only requires somebody to percieve that it becomes set. For me, I percieve my time here to be meaningful, that I try to brighten my friends days, and try to enjoy what short time I have here on this uncaring but arguable wonderful world. What do you see?

I apologize if the way I write this is a little disjointing; I’ll try my best to keep things connected.
My partner lost two cats in the span of a couple months not too long ago; both cats developed aids and slowly grew weaker until the passed. With the first cat their parents found her body and threw her in the garbage. With the second, they went to the vet, put him down and decided that the body would be discarded instead of cremated and kept. The second cat hit my partner the hardest, out of all of them that cat was the most loving and it was the cat my partner claimed the most responsibility for. They never processed his death, they resent their parents for not telling them or keeping the ashes, and they long for something to fill the whole that was left in them.
We found a kitten less than a week ago, a feral cat we rescued from a friend’s backyard after a mother gave birth under their house and their dog killed most of the litter. We decided that the kitten would stay at my place due to the fact that my partner’s parents made it clear that they would not want any more animals. I took care of her, doing the hard parts, waking up at odd hours, and cleaning shit. My partner expressed that they felt like they weren’t playing a part in the cats well being or care. The kitten loves them and they paid for a good portion of the kittens items and bet care. We said that we were the kitten’s parents, but my partner somewhat resented that they lived at my house and I was the one doing most of the work.
We saw a cat at the local Petsmart and they fell in love. A male orange cat with a round face, just like their old cat. The cat was a sweet heart that reached out for love and attention. My partner started crying, the cat reached out, guided them forward, and pressed their foreheads together. We proceeded to visit them for about three days straight, they needed this cat, they loved this cat, they felt anxious and maybe this cat would help. I set up an adoption appointment. My partner began to hesitate, waking me up late in the night saying that they’re not sure about the cat. Things would be easier if we had our own places and we wouldn’t have to worry about the adoption process.
I tried to say that things wouldn’t be too bad, it will just be an interview and some paperwork, everything will be okay. We eventually adopt the cat, get our picture taken, buy an array of cat supplies, and bring them to my partner’s home. The kitten will by mine and the cat will be their’s, though we plan on taking care of both and visiting. The day passes with some shaky events. My partner wants to think of a way for us to explain to their parents why they have a new cat without explicitly saying we bought them, we eventually come up with a decent excuse. The cat becomes scared after spending around 20 minutes in their case during a drive and becomes cold and skittish. My partner begins to feel itchy, cold, and anxious. We stayed up late into the night and they began to express regret in adopting the cat. They express that we didn’t think it through and that we should have listened to them when they expressed some hesitation.
They told me that seeing the kitten and me taking care of her made them feel like they were ready to take care of a cat. Seeing the cat at Petsmart felt like the stars aligning, but now they don’t feel ready. They cant handle the responsibility and the stress but they don’t want to give the cat back especially since he’s been returned before. I said that we should give it time, call the adoption agency and see if they can give us advice. I then said that if nothing helps we had to give them up. Feeling like shit for some time is better than forcing your way through cat-care. The decision to adopt was impulsive and the adoption process was too easy. It was something I wanted to do out of love and to help them with their stress and grief but it seems like it’s just adding to it. We came up with the idea of attempting to take care of the cat for a decent period of time and if things don’t improve emotionally then we can attempt to rehome him ourselves.
What should we do? What should I do to help my partner? Just anything.

Do not buy a car from carvana. My boyfriend and I bought vehicles from carvana in March. When my boyfriend got his car it was nice and clean after driving it for only a week. The car started having problems and he returned it. Took them three weeks to get him a new one and kept delaying delivery. So far the new one has no problems. On the other hand my car started having issues. I took it to get a diagonostic and they told me something was wrong with the transmission. Got the transmission fixed and a month later something else was wrong with the car! By this time it’s late April. I take it to get fixed and they said the clutch went out. They fixed it. By this time I’m still under warranty and I’ve paid $200 for my deductible and I haven’t had it for at least four months. Now there something else wrong. My warranty is up and now I have to pay $1100 to get my wheel bearing fixed 😡 just for them to tell me what’s actually wrong with the car. This is ridiculous. I had a bad feeling from buying from this place. Sounded too good to be true. My mechanical issues are unsafe. I’ve almost been into an accident one and one of my wheels could have came off while driving and my daughter and i could’ve been hurt. They really need to inspect their vehicles because this is just annoying. Just save yourself the headache and go to a dealership.

It’s come to my attention that I’m sort of lonely. Don’t get me wrong. I’m single. I have dogs and people I talk to at work. I chat with some people online- but my good friends live far away and many have drifted away with time. My family is an ocean away. Most days, I feel like I’m wearing a mask. Being the person people expect me to be instead of who I truly am. I’ve been trying to occupy myself lately, but I think I just need to be more sociable. I’ve isolated myself from the world by watching movies and series in Netflix sometimes I do hiking and camping alone, perhaps out of self-preservation, and now I’m seeking to reconnect. People say you’ll never find friends like those you had in childhood- but I hope they’re wrong.

tldr: I'm almost 3 months on T, accidentally lit my dirt stache on fire resulting in me shaving for the first time while high
I recently started T, it'll be 3 months on the 10th. Because of this, I have been able to grow a pretty cool dirt stache which I have quite enjoyed. Others have commented on it, saying I should let it grow more and it looks good. I feel like it was helping me pass significantly better. Keep in mind I'm 16, so lots of cis guys my age have the same thing. I know it kinda makes you look greasy but I would rather that than look like a girl.
Anyways, like two hours ago I was on a walk with my dog and having a joint. I was already somewhat agitated as I'd had a long day, and that was only emphasized by the fact that the filter fell out of the joint as it was too small. I decided to just keep going because I didn't mind it too much. Because I was outside it was quite windy and the joint went out, so I decided to light it again. Because of the wind my lighter didn't want to work, so I put the joint (only about 1/4 left with no filter) in my mouth and used my hand to make a cup around it while lighting with the other hand. This was a great idea in my stoned head, which changed very quickly when I smelt a burning smell and rubbed my lip to find my stache burnt off. After an inspection with my camera, I just had a small patch that was burnt off, and I was instantly pretty pissed. On top of that I dropped the joint so was sad.
I was pretty upset and headed home, went straight to my room to figure out what the fuck I'd do. I really liked my stache but it was pretty noticeable. Nothing crazy because there wasn't much hair to be burnt, but I felt like people would notice especially because they'd be paying extra attention as they'd never seen me with facial hair before. I was really anxious about it though, especially because I was high. I also really liked passing recently. On top of that, my dad can't know that I smoke. If he notices that it's burnt he would put two and two together, but if I randomly shave he'd notice too (?).
After much sadness I decided to shave it off, so I go to take a shower. I slap on some of my dad's shaving cream and use his rasor. I'm high, so decide that I should test it on my thigh quickly. So I have a bald patch on my thigh now too. After success I go to shave my stache, it goes fairly well. It actually made me insanely nostalgic. When I was a kid my dad would let me shave for him and I hadn't heard that sound or smelt shaving cream in like 10 years. I actually really enjoyed it dispite the anxiety/mourning of my stache. I hop back in the shower and finish up and now here I am. No stache. It's a little weird and I'm still processing everything, but I'm not to pissed. For some reason I thought that I'd look like a girl but I look fairly average, and hopefully it'll grow back. I also love the feeling of the "stubble" when I run my hand across it the wrong way. It reminds me of my ex and my dad after they'd freshly shaved and something I'd never been able to experience before.
I just looked in the mirror again and I actually like how the stubble looks. It's less noticeable but not the end of the world. I probably would've put it off way too long anyways. I hope that this story makes someone else's day better and I can look back and laugh later on, cuz it's been quite the emotional roller coaster

So my dog, Helga, has issues sometimes when we walk around other beings.(She is a wonderful walker when we're alone) She'll bark and sometimes growl, She'll only tries going to them if they are close, otherwise she backs up to me. She is ok when when I introduce her to people as long as it's calm and quiet, she can even ignore other dogs as long as they stay away or don't bark at her, she is a year old, and I took her off my sperm donar which means she was never socialized outside of his two other dogs. She has clear signs of anxiety. My cousin says I need to muzzle her, I feel that's very harsh but I'm confuzzed on what to do. I have made small progress with redirection training but I need to be able to walk in a store with her. I have not tried calming chews but I've pointed in that direction. No obedience class yet, worried about other dogs. I would love any help.

I know passions are high, especially today, as we're all excited about being in a new subReddit, and lots of people are still amped up and agitated over how things went in the old one. Be joyous with that energy, not aggressive, please.
