Well, i moved in today. I had only been in the house a single time before and loved it. Upon moving in i had sort of a weird feeling but i just associated it with the anxiety that comes with change but the feeling sort of grew as my day went on but not too bad. I ended up taking a nap and woke up within the first 5 mins to look over my shoulder due to maybe anxiety keeping me alert or something, new space, who knows. Anyway, i did end up going to sleep and had this dream- i was in the new house and i was waking up from my nap (this is the dream) and i grab my phone because it’s dark and go to use the flashlight (i’m horribly scared of the dark but only when alone) but the flash light won’t work so i go to flip the light switch in my room and it doesn’t work so i go to the kitchen to use that light switch and what that one doesn’t work i run outside and all of a sudden it’s day and i see my cats (my protectors, i have deep love for them) and i walk up to them but it’s not them it’s just similar looking cats and then i turn and see them but when i get to them it’s the same thing, similar looking but not them. Anyway- here’s where it gets weirder, i wake up from the nap and get in the bath, while laying there i look up and see a pentagram drawn on the door frame. Then i’m laying with my partner after my bath and he noticed one on the door frame of the bed room too. I can post a pic if anyone is interested or even ends up seeing this, i’ll also update if anything else is found but fingers crossed that there won’t be! Anyway- let me know about the door frame thing, super interested.

I (39M) have been a caretaker for my brother, Justin (33M) since he was 10. I was only 16 when our parents died. I had to take care of the household because my brother was still very little. I did everything for him. He was the apple of my eye. I guess I spoiled him a lot. I never dated that much because I was the breadwinner for my brother. That is until I met Melissa (35F), it was almost 10 years ago. We dated for 2 years. It was great, my brother loved her. One day, I eavesdropping a conversation she was having with her friend. The gist of that conversation was something like her friend was asking about me. Melissa said that she loves me a lot, she loves that I take care of her in every way. But I am pretty average when it comes to having sex. Her friend asked her if she is going to talk to me about it or how is she happy. She told her that her fixture is my brother. She went on to explain how she and Justin have been having an affair for 8 months. She thinks it is justified because she thinks Justin is better in bed than I am. You can imagine how painful it was for me. I went inside the house pretending I didn't hear a thing.
I confronted Justin about it. I know how get him to talk. I pressed this matter after he was denying it. He eventually broke down and said it was the truth. He didn't say anything because he didn't want to hurt me. He and Melissa are in love and wanted to get married but Melissa won't leave me. I was furious. I wanted to beat the shit out of him but I just told him he is dead to me and left. I also kicked out Melissa and she stayed with my brother and his roommates. My brother was banging on my door non-stop. I had to move in with a friend and told everyone to not disclose my location to my brothers. His calls and emails were all the same that he was sorry and he never wanted to hurt me and he will break up. I stopped the bank account (something like a trust fund) that I mad made for him that he can access when he is 25. He was not my brother anymore.
I went into deep depression. I didn't eat or sleep properly. I would have nightmares of my brother and ex laughing at me that I suck in bed. That if I was good enough she would have never left me. It got so bad that once I stood in front of a train track because it was too unbearable for me. Luckily, my friends saved me. I do not have much friends but they were my rock. I stayed with them for a year. I went to therapy, I did group sessions. I had a lot of anxiety regarding intimacy so I didn't date for a long time. My friend encouraged me to try. I did try once with a one night stand but it was bad for both of us. I still go to therapy to this day. But other aspects of my life has improved. I focused more on building new relationships with new people. I went to travel and explore more hobbies. I was living for myself.
I am in a relationship with someone for 3 years now. We are engaged and we are having a kid together. Wendy (32F) is a really nice person. She knows all about my insecurities and problems that I faced because of my brother. She was mature and patient with me. I was able to trust someone enough to be in a relationship. 2 days ago, I got an invitation in my mail about a wedding. And as the title says it was from my brother. He has kept tabs on me from afar and invited me to his wedding with none other than Melissa. Looking at their names doesn't hurt that much now. I feel numb. If it was 8 years ago, I would have a meltdown. I still feel this pain that I cannot be happy for my brother's big day. My fiancé suggests that we shouldn't go and delete the invite.

i wanna preface this by saying i'm a good kid, i'm the best kid my moms had yet. i respect my parents, when they say stop i stop and when they say be quiet i'm quiet, i'm not the best, but if they tell me not to do something i listen and i ask for permission for every little thing. my older brother and sister both abused substances at my age, my older sister got pregnant at 17, and my mom herself even had a kid at fourteen, i'm the best damn kid she's got yet and that sounds selfish but it's true.
i do everything i can to be acceptable, we don't agree on things, but i don't start fights. i don't succumb to peer pressure, i don't lie or steal or cheat, i don't sleep around, i don't use substances, i'm friendly and well mannered because i try so hard.
that aside, today i asked for permission to hang out with a coworker at his place. i clarified that both of his parents would be home, we'd play some games on his wii, i'd tell her the address and leave my tracker on and i'd update her the whole time, i told her more about him (he's younger than me by a year, what church he attends, everything), and if she said "Actually, i don't feel comfortable with you hanging out at a boys house when I don't know him well and I'd rather you stay home" i would've said okay mom! i respect that, in this day and age sure, i understand why
but instead she laughed at me, insulted him and his family, and when i tried calming her down and asking her to explain just why she didn't want me over to see if maybe it was something i could solve, a boundary i could set, anything, she started to yell at me even as i begged for her to stop yelling and just talk to me
i started crying because i didn't know what i'd done wrong and she started yelling at me for "making her the villain", and when i said that if she'd just told me she didn't want me going over i would've respected that and it could've ended there she started yelling about how "shes sorry for making me upset by being herself, because no one likes who she is", and when i eventually said okay, fine, i'll tell him i can't hang out she switched up and started saying like "no no go with him, i can't control you, if something bad happens to you then its YOUR responsibility and you have to deal with that for the rest of your life" and i just don't know what to do
i haven't stopped crying, i told him i can't hang out because my mom didn't approve of it but i just don't know what i did wrong
i didn't yell, i didn't raise my voice, i had just asked for her permission like i'm supposed to. this isn't the first time she's screamed at me for asking questions, i don't even have to do anything wrong, she just always expects the worse and immediately jumps to conclusions and rather would yell and scream than actually talk to me

i wanna preface this by saying i'm a good kid, i'm the best kid my moms had yet. i respect my parents, when they say stop i stop and when they say be quiet i'm quiet, i'm not the best, but if they tell me not to do something i listen and i ask for permission for every little thing. my older brother and sister both abused substances at my age, my older sister got pregnant at 17, and my mom herself even had a kid at fourteen, i'm the best damn kid she's got yet and that sounds selfish but it's true.
i do everything i can to be acceptable, we don't agree on things, but i don't start fights. i don't succumb to peer pressure, i don't lie or steal or cheat, i don't sleep around, i don't use substances, i'm friendly and well mannered because i try so hard.
that aside, today i asked for permission to hang out with a coworker at his place. i clarified that both of his parents would be home, we'd play some games on his wii, i'd tell her the address and leave my tracker on and i'd update her the whole time, i told her more about him (he's younger than me by a year, what church he attends, everything), and if she said "Actually, i don't feel comfortable with you hanging out at a boys house when I don't know him well and I'd rather you stay home" i would've said okay mom! i respect that, in this day and age sure, i understand why
but instead she laughed at me, insulted him and his family, and when i tried calming her down and asking her to explain just why she didn't want me over to see if maybe it was something i could solve, a boundary i could set, anything, she started to yell at me even as i begged for her to stop yelling and just talk to me
i started crying because i didn't know what i'd done wrong and she started yelling at me for "making her the villain", and when i said that if she'd just told me she didn't want me going over i would've respected that and it could've ended there she started yelling about how "shes sorry for making me upset by being herself, because no one likes who she is", and when i eventually said okay, fine, i'll tell him i can't hang out she switched up and started saying like "no no go with him, i can't control you, if something bad happens to you then its YOUR responsibility and you have to deal with that for the rest of your life" and i just don't know what to do
i haven't stopped crying, i told him i can't hang out because my mom didn't approve of it but i just don't know what i did wrong
i didn't yell, i didn't raise my voice, i had just asked for her permission like i'm supposed to. this isn't the first time she's screamed at me for asking questions, i don't even have to do anything wrong, she just always expects the worse and immediately jumps to conclusions and rather would yell and scream than actually talk to me

- Collectors Edition: does NOT INCLUDE the Game (neither a physical copy, nor a code), only physical collectible items! The game has to be bought separately.
- Beta Progress: Character Progress will NOT transfer over to the Game once it is launched, but Cosmetic Rewards from participating in the Beta will transfer.

- General Suggestions to make the game run better: the game may run better for some people on lower settings. Remember that you can also choose to download lower texture pack, which reduces the amount of disk space you may need to have available.

Good morning from Cape Town, South Africa
I feel like I have become one of those calm, introverted individuals that has wormed himself into a nice little comfortable spot that I'm okay with. The problem with this spot is that it tends to get lonely more often than not. You know that loneliness where there are people around you but they are people that don't REALLY see you.
I would love to find a friend that can see me, and maybe that special someone is you.
I enjoy music and reading. From the mixes that YT Music generates for me I think we agree that contemporary country and 90s pop is my flavour. I just finished reading The Whisper Man and will be getting back into Gone Girl after I hit post. If you looking for a creepy book recommendation I suggest The Whisper Man by Alex North. The narration of the audio book is great too.
I love spending time in the kitchen. For me this is always the heart of the home. I would enjoy finding someone to share recipes with and to share pics of failed and successful experiments.
I enjoy English Football and I have been devastated this past season by the form of my beloved Chelsea FC. I however live in hope that next season will be better. Honestly there is little room for it to be worse.
I enjoy board games and the online variants are often great too. Chess, parchisi, Rummikub, Checkers ..... I am down for any of them if you are.
I think my inner mind is secretly trying to turn my house into a zoo. I built an outdoor aviary this year and I keep finches, I also keep fish, albino crayfish, dogs and I'm dying to get a little piggie. Bad idea I know!
I have a 4 year old and he is incredible. He has shaped so much about me and I can not sing how proud I am of him loud enough.
I have been at this Reddit thing before and found that I get on best with ladies that are nurturing in nature and maybe a little clingy too. I’m hoping for a genuine long term friendship with someone who is smart, nice, caring, and able to hold a conversation. Someone who can make me laugh, challenge me, and motivate me. Someone who can be my co-pilot and let me be theirs.

Hello all, I'm back agin for more advice, this time on socialization for my adolescent Great Dane puppy. Moose just turned 9mos old at the end of May and I have only had him since he was 6mos old. When we first got him, I found him in a rehoming group and upon talking to the woman who had him she mentioned she had a family member pass away and was unable to care for him. A couple of red flags when I picked him up. He was underweight, mainly due to a not so great feed, though she says it was because he 'ran it all off' and when she handed me his vaccination reports, from a vet 3 hours away in Alabama, she let it be know that he did not have a rabies shot...at 6 months old.
So we bring him home, we isolate him from my other pets, just in case, and I immediately call the vet. Get him an appointment for the next day and get him his rabies, bordatella, flea and tick, and Heartguard. At the vet, he nervously growled at he vet and his tech when they came into the room, and hid in the corner. I did my best to not let him hide behind me, but by the end of the visit, he took a treat the tech had thrown his direction and was fine. He didn't growl at the receptionist or even the dog that ran up to him, which I inserted myself in between the two before he cold make it over there.
Though now that I am trying to work on socializing him more, it appears he is a very nervous and unconfident dog. He barks when the door to our house opens, not the doorbell, but for example if I return home from work, and he is in the living room with my mom, the moment he hears the door its barking, not aggressive barking bt more alert style barking. He will walk p to the baby gate we have up and look at you, bark a few times, then wag his tail.
We've taken him outside a few cafes, and haven't let anyone touch him, but it is very wishy washy, sometimes people will walk by and he will do nothing, other times he will bark, and low growl while baking up. But when I have taken him to Pet friendly stores, there was no growling at other people or children except once when a child was very loud. He even saw a woman carrying her small dog and he simply looked at them pass by, it wasn't until the woman backed up and started talking to my dog that he growled, only once, and then stopped.
We even had our coworker, Susan, come and help watch him for a day while my mother, and I had to attend a funeral a little ways away, and she told us he was a peach for her, no growling, or barking, just very calm.
I'm just super frustrated, I personally have never taken him to a dog park, or anything, and it feels like every time I try to socialize him, I look like a bad dog owner. most people see him and understand he is a puppy and is nervous but I want to help my dog be more confident and socialized so I can do things like sit outside in cafe's and take him to PetSmart etc. without having to worry about him reacting negatively to other people. I don't let people pet him or anything, but if they have questions I let them talk to me, so he gets used to people being around etc.
I watch a lot of dog shows, which usually have barking and other people talking, on the TV while he's in the room, and he never reacts to that so is that a good sign? any tips/ ideas would be greatly appreciated. We have a dog park in the area with an agility course I Want to take him too(hopefully for his confidence), when the park is empty but every time I go by there, there are always other dogs so we don't stop. Does this sound like reactivity based on fear and unconfidence or is there something else? If it is something else what do you think it is, and is it too late for my adolescent dog? I’ve been depressed for a while now, and my partner battles with her own insecurities, however, she has always resolved to alcohol as her escape but has increasingly become very aggressive and disrespectful towards me especially, when we met back then I’ve noticed it, but I guess I thought those red flags could have been something we could work out, but it’s now 5 years later and I’m at the point where she truly does not want to change, not even for our 2 year old daughter. I am not financially ready to make the step to move out and get my own place where I could share time with my daughter and be the life loving person I used to feel like, I have to come to this house after every work day and deal with the unexpected when it comes to her. Look I’ve never been one to complain about a game but I am more than happy to complain about how much of a kick in the gut the galactic edition was to absolutely everyone who either preordered or bought the deluxe edition.
Around the time I was playing LSWTSS I was making sure I kept up to date with update news and dlc announcements. And just when I thought live service for the game was going to die out TT games brought out the galactic edition. By all means if sales were down for the game at the time it was fair of them to drop the galactic edition but to stick all new dlc behind a $142 (AUD) price tag was thievery in my eyes. I felt cheated.
I personally wanted to ask if anyone else on here felt the same way?

 | I've been looking at this P320 for a year and a half. Local gun shop had it used and advertised it as an auction gun for a charity. I had inquired about purchasing it straight out, but the best price I got was close to $2,200. The gun disappeared from the case for 6 months or so, and I thought it had been purchased. To my surprise it was put back in the case for sale for $1,200! (witout optic) submitted by Sierra-Juan to P320 [link] [comments] It ran fine loading 10 and 15 rounds at a time. I experimented with different weight recoil springs. I learned with 12 lb spring it spit rounds out to the right like normal, but had one FTF like it didn't have enough juice to pushe the slide back into battery. I went to the 14 lb spring and it dropped casing s onto the shooting table but overall ran ok. I tried the 15 lb spring and it actually ejected forward and to the left....weird huh? At this point I loaded up a full 21 rounds with one in the pipe. Well, with all that lead pushing on the stripper rail, I had a failure to feed. Cleared it, and shot again, and the slide didn't go back far enough to strip a round. Looked at the slide and realized it was bone dry. I lubed it and the barrel and tried again. I topped up the mag and it rand flawless. Ejection was not to 3-4 O'Clock though. I dropped to the 14 lb sprig and it ran flawless. I tried the 12 lb spring and it was also flawless. I switched back and forth to see how much the dot moved and settled on the 12 lb spring for 115 gr fmj's. I'll try it again for 124 gr bullets. I ran 5 mags (110 rounds) rapid fire at HK training shapes at 10 yards with zero malfunctions. My take away is the Trinity Nevada PihRo slide for the P320 is very promising. I feel like I have become one of those calm, introverted individuals that has wormed himself into a nice little comfortable spot that I'm okay with. The problem with this spot is that it tends to get lonely more often than not. You know that loneliness where there are people around you but they are people that don't REALLY see you.
I would love to find a friend that can see me, and maybe that special someone is you.
I enjoy music and reading. From the mixes that YT Music generates for me I think we agree that contemporary country and 90s pop is my flavour. I just finished reading The Whisper Man and will be getting back into Gone Girl after I hit post. If you looking for a creepy book recommendation I suggest The Whisper Man by Alex North. The narration of the audio book is great too.
I love spending time in the kitchen. For me this is always the heart of the home. I would enjoy finding someone to share recipes with and to share pics of failed and successful experiments.
I enjoy English Football and I have been devastated this past season by the form of my beloved Chelsea FC. I however live in hope that next season will be better. Honestly there is little room for it to be worse.
I enjoy board games and the online variants are often great too. Chess, parchisi, Rummikub, Checkers ..... I am down for any of them if you are.
I think my inner mind is secretly trying to turn my house into a zoo. I built an outdoor aviary this year and I keep finches, I also keep fish, albino crayfish, dogs and I'm dying to get a little piggie. Bad idea I know!
